I think the best way to put it is as a set that didn't start official but gained official status when Tom decided he wasn't likely to explore the Classics era again.

I was able to at least find the Hechilles bootleg, which brings my active 2074 roster to 12 wrestlers (8 2074, 2079 Omega + Morpheus, and 2084 K.O. Keller). Interestingly enough, the 2074 book says there were "about 30" wrestlers competing in 2074.
Edit: my bad, Hechilles is 2078.

Said but not included....I used some other wrestlers to fill up the roster like Lance At-Las, Avalanche and a couple others that I can't remember.

Are there any official retcon wrestlers, like when 2087 had the two SE cards inserted, or any time travelers who wound up in 2074? Any POW cards with guys in 2074? I intend to use the 3 well done bootlegged jobber groups to fill out the roster to 29.

Just trying to replay 2074 with as many guys I am able to.

It’s for the CotG sets under the POW folder are the CotG Genesis Reduex and the P.O.W. Genesis Combined sets that are meant to be used around the 2050 to 2074 timeframe. Also in the folder is the R.R.A.T.S. Set that is also meant for around that time frame. drive.google.com/drive/folders/12H1jg1ltQfAjR9Br_TiUykL3hJz__boCGetting something official for that timeframe besides the “official” classic sets (2074,2079,2084 and 2086) will be hard to come by.

Thank you..I found bootleg Screws in the POW folders there.
I read old posts here last night and realized that we were never supposed to know or get the full rosters officially. The pre-2087 sets were to fill out pre-2087 history and have a few guys in their primes for Kronus play as opposed to year-by-year campaigns. But those who did play year-by-year used the EC set and bootlegs for 12 cards a year before ramping as they got closer to 2087. I began playing 2074 the last few days, and have enjoyed it so far using jobbers to pad wins for the real guys.
I was actually was able to see the original card backs pics for the Early Classics tonight, and am making cards for the guys I don't have for personal use, but I obviously can't upload, post, or link to them.

I didn't realize that the Early Classics was ever offered on the Filsinger Games web site. I got my copy of the set from Mike at GenCon one year. I think it was the year after he originally offered them, and he was almost out of copies when I got mine.

What I don't understand is there's clearly demand for this. So why not throw together a PDF and offer it? It's not that hard to make cards if you have the formatting built. Once you have that part done it takes maybe a day or two of typing to finish up cards if you already have the reference files. Or let the people who do have the cards type them up for those that want them if they'll never be offered again.
