Legacy WrestlingIn the aftermath of “The Attempt”, in which a single greedy and power hungry promoter failed in his attempt to take over the territories, promoters stopped working with one another. As their paranoia had them questioning the integrity of the other promoters, this led to the promotions choking themselves due to stagnation and ultimately led to the massive closings of various wrestling promotions.
However, as with all things an end also means there is room for a beginning. A group of entrepreneurs came together to preserve the legacy, spirit, and heritage of professional wrestling. Thus, the World Regulatory Wrestling Council was formed to make and enforce the rules in this new venture, and those that don’t want to abide will face swift and just punishment from the Council! Welcome to Legacy Wrestling! This is where it all begins anew!

Legacy WrestlingLegacy Wrestling has learned that Lou Thesz was assaulted as he left a gym after his work out. The masked assailant assaulted Lou Thesz unprovoked, and the assault resulted in Lou Thesz taking a piledriver onto the concrete of the parking lot! The masked assailant got away, but Prime Wrestling is working to find out the identity of the assailant to bring them to justice! Lou Thesz has made it clear that he is still healthy to compete for the Legacy Wrestling World Championship. However, the Prime Wrestling medical staff would not clear him in time for the Legacy Wrestling World Championship tournament. So, the World Regulatory Wrestling Council looked high and low for a replacement. Their search was not long, as they have released in a press conference, that the final wrestler that is officially entered into the Legacy Wrestling World Championship Tournament is non other than....
“Macho Man” Randy Savage

“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan vs Iron Sheik -The crowd was solidly behind Duggan as he took on the Sheik. However, it was clear the Iron Sheik had other plans. The Iron Sheik used underhanded tactics to control the majority of the match. Morgan Dollar admonished Iron Sheik several times, but did not disqualify him. In the end, Iron Sheik was able to hit Duggan with his loaded boot, that made him easy prey for the Camel Clutch. Hacksaw was weakened and ended up tapping out! Winner: Iron Sheik (Camel Clutch) Fatigue: Duggan 2
Bobo Brazil vs Nikolai Volkoff -There was alot of back and forth action as both men were eager to get an early win. Volkoff kept most of the match outside the ring, and was punishing Brazil. Hillbilly Jim was seen in the crowd and he was cheering on Brazil. Volkoff saw this and took offense. He proceeded to ram Brazil into the ringside barricade, and then he spit on Hillbilly Jim. Jim did not take the spit in kind, and proceeded to clothesline Volkoff! Morgan Dollar saw what transpired and called for the bell! Hillbilly Jim went and checked on Brazil and apologized to him for his actions, and both men shook hands to the delight of the crowd! Winner: Nikolai Volkoff (DQ) Fatigue: N/A
Harley Race vs “Macho Man” Randy Savage -This was an old school tough fight! Both men hit their big moves trying to put the other away. Winner: Harley Race (Vertical Suplex) Fatigue: Race 2; Savage 3
“Superfly” Jimmy Snuka vs “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers -Rogers tried to keep the Superfly grounded and in a technical match. However, after scoring a nearfall by trying to use Snuka’s tights, a fire was lit under Snuka as he punished Rogers with stiff and deep chops. Road Warriors vs Perfect F’N Show -In the beginning, Perfect F’N Show used their agility to frustrate the Road Warriors. However, once the Road Warriors got their hands it was a beatdown. “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka vs “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan -Both men ended up losing their tempers and ignored referee Morgan Dollar. Winner: Jimmy Snuka (DQ) Fatigue: N/A
“Macho Man” Randy Savage vs Bobo Brazil -This was a fight. Both men were throwing bombs in between their big moves in this one. Winner: Bobo Brazil (Countout) Fatigue: Savage 4; Brazil 2
“Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers vs Iron Sheik -Rogers got frustrated with the Iron Sheik, as Sheik was more successful with his underhanded tactics, and did not get admonished by Morgan Dollar. The Nature Boy is livid by the call, and his frustration is plain as day as he has yet to have a win in Prime Wrestling! Winner: Iron Sheik (DQ) Fatigue: Rogers 1; Sheik 1
Nikolai Volkoff vs Harley Race -Race was able to slowly wear the big Russian down in this match. A reversal that saw Race hit a piledriver on Volkoff set up the Vertical Suplex for the win! Diamond Money vs Gorgeous Ambition -Bobby Heenan was very full of himself in this one as he was able to thwart DDP on almost every exchange. Winner: Diamond Money (DQ) Fatigue: N/A
Road Warriors vs The Syndicate -Lou Albano used Pampero Firpo to do the heavy lifting in this match. This allowed the Syndicate to start strong, but the Road Warriors wore Firpo down fast. The Road Warriors hit the Doomsday Device and Firpo was done. Albano did make the save, but got out of the ring fast as he wanted no part of Animal. Hawk followed up with a gut wrench suplex, and got the win. Albano did not even try to save his partner as Animal challenged him to do so. Winner: Road Warriors (Gut Wrench Suplex) Fatigue: Animal 1; Firpo 3
