I'd buy the 2094 2095 2096 2097 sets if they just colorized and carded the Larry Snelly art. I think a lot of people would do that for all of the OOP B&W sets.

I would not be surprised for legal reasons they have to change the art so expect it to be reimagined if and when it comes.

For me, Snelly was definitely an improvement over Carter - his Raven art is arguably the greatest drawing ever - but overall I think I would prefer Werner's art.

Carter's Dreadnaught is, imo the best drawing ever. Raven is up there. I also really like Metalhead's art as well as Snelly's 2095 SE art for Bishop Hell, Brute, and Massacre.

Snelly had a lot of fantastic stuff like Raven, Janus, Death's Head, but had a lot of stuff that was way off on proportion (that Chaos LE, Thantos, Mace).

A comparison of them and 90 cards show they are exactly the same. The SE cards for me are quite a substantial upgrade for me, especially for Massacre. I didn't realize until I listened to Mike & Broc's Youtube on the 2090 Gladiators last week that apparently the first 100 printings of the Glads weren't quite up to Tom's standard and he made them tougher in all future 2090 printings and that is the same stats that carried over to their 2095 SE cards. So as I have one of the initial runs in 2090 so the SE cards for me made the Gladiators much tougher.

I have those Glads too but I figure 95% of people have the latter ones.

Kind of disappointed they are taking a break after the next the next set. We were just about to get to my favorite period in CoTG history.
