FUN FACT about my alternate persona, Axel Guest -- Winger's 'Seventeen' was the opening song of the very first set of my very first paid club gig... Truth! Letting you know that I, personally, escaped that beastly storm.. by about five minutes. Pulled into the garage and then the heavens opened.
A friend of mine was very much not so lucky as he was in Home Depot in West Des Moines and came out to find a totaled hatchback. Windows smashed, hood and top dented all to hell. Another friend and delivery driver for the old brewery I used to work at (I'm at Confluence now) was in Des Moines and as it started he got sideswiped in the delivery vehicle. damn.
Exciting Mid-West weather.

Someone on Facebook shared this video a long time ago. (Travis Heckel, Travis605, was it you?) I knew how creepy the song was but never had seen the video.
