“Hello ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Appalachian Championship Wrestling’s, Summer Blast Super Show. I’m Gordon Solie, and we have an incredible show for you tonight. We have 3 Championship matches as well as the semifinals and finals of the Golden Opportunity* Tournament. We’ll see Heenan Family member, Barry Windham defend the ACW TV Title in a rematch against Tommy Wildfire Rich. The Road Warriors will defend the ACW Tag Team titles against Jim Cornette’s Midnight Express, and in the Main Event, the Heenan family is back as Curt Hennig with Bobby Heenan defends the Appalachian Heavyweight Championship vs Magnum TA. Let’s go to the ring for the opening match.”

Nikita Koloff** defeats Ranger Ross by pinfall at 3:07, after hitting his Russian Sickle finisher. After the match Nikita and Ivan beat down Ross and cover him with the Russian flag 🇷🇺.

Diamond Dallas Page vs AJ Styles
DDP defeats AJ Styles by pinfall at 10:12 after hitting two consecutive Diamond Cutter finishers to finish him off.

Mark Henry vs Jimmy Valiant
Mark Henry defeats Jimmy Valiant by pinfall 7:24 after hitting his World’s Strongest Slam finisher.
ACW TV Title Match
Barry Windham (c) with Bobby Heenan vs Tommy Wildfire Rich.
Tommy Wildfire Rich defeats Barry Windham at 12:21, to become the new ACW TV Champion by referee stoppage after applying his Wildfire Sleeper finisher on Windham. Heenan tried to interfere in the match at one point, but Wildfire chased him out of the ring before applying the sleeper to Windham.
Golden Opportunity* Finals Match
Diamond Dallas Page vs Mark Henry
DDP defeats Mark Henry by pinfall at 11:53, after hitting consecutive Diamond Cutter finishers to become the Golden Opportunity Tournament winner. By winning the tournament, DDP now has a contract for an ACW Heavyweight Title match he can “cash in” at any time.
Bill Apter interviews a newly signed Dusty Rhodes** who openly challenged the ACW locker room to a match. BoBo Brazil answers Dusty’s challenge saying a win over Rhodes would put him back in contention for the ACW title Hennig stole from him. Dusty figures if he beats Brazil, then he would be in line for an ACW Heavyweight title match. The two men shake hands as a referee enters the ring.

Both men are disqualified at 10:21, after failing to heed the referee’s warnings. Neither man would back down from the other.
ACW Tag Team Championship Match
The Road Warriors(c) with Paul Ellering vs The Midnight Express with Jim Cornette
The Road Warriors defeat The Midnight Express by pinfall at 20:45 after hitting their Doomsday Device finisher on Bobby Eaton. (This match was WILD!! Both Teams hit multiple finishers on each other, both managers interfered, but it was the LOD who came out on top.)
ACW Heavyweight Championship match
Curt Hennig(c) with Bobby Heenan vs Magnum TA
Curt Hennig defeats Magnum TA by pinfall after hitting his 4th Hennig Plex finisher. Heenan distracted the referee, saving Hennig from being pinned by Magnum allowing Hennig the chance to finally finish him off.
