This was a fantastic episode. Really interesting, and it was very apparent that Tournament Master has a great love for Olde Time Wrestling. Absolutely. Its everything I love in wrestling. Glad I got to host an olde wrestling match at Geek Fest. Someday I need to make a show. If you go, I'll make the trip too, especially since the show is on the weekend before the start of school, usually or in August, and a totally drivable distance for me if they are in Ohio.

Problem is its a Sunday, which makes it hard to get home that evening.

I really enjoyed the Olde Wrestling review. I never knew a lot about this group, so enjoyed hearing the insight on this promotion. Has anyone ever mixed using them with the Legends Vintage era roster and/or charts? I did that for awhile to expand the Vintage roster when I was focusing on that era. This episode was a great listen. I seem to recall some hot Texas promotion kind of made a big deal out of its six man title back in the eighties. I think it was team Decency versus team Filth, or something like that. 😉

I remember some guy was purely sexy in that feud.

I finished listening to this episode today.
I have really enjoyed the Olde Wrestling shows that I have seen on DVD (Marion Fontaine was selling them at his merch table at Galacticon 2015 in Cleveland and that merch table- and I mean the table itself and not the merch items on it, although they were great too- was the most impressive merch table I have ever seen at a show.)
I think Tournament Master (who is actually coming here to Las Vegas this weekend) overall did a great job on these cards!
Right now the Olde Wrestling cards that I am using on a regular basis are Jeff King as a fun gimmick card in my Ring of Canada fed, and also Cymbal Monkey in my Ring of Canada fed. I pretend that Space Monkey and Cymbal Monkey are two different wrestlers who I team together as The Monkeys. In addition, I have recently started to use the El Paso Kid in my Ring of Mexico fed as he is from a US border state (Texas) and I have been using some wrestlers from US border states to help fill out my Ring of Mexico roster. In Ring of Mexico, El Paso Kid is currently feuding with his fellow Texan in "Bounty Hunter" Keith Lee who says he has a warrant to bring in El Paso Kid either dead or alive.
I also plan to use more Olde Wrestler cards, especially when I get back to my Lachikaras Vegas fed.
Looking forward to this week's episode!

I've only been to one Olde Wrestling show, but it was a lot of fun. Quite a few fans dressed up in 1920s clothing, the venue worked really well, the band was great, and the majority of the roster was very accessible. During intermission, my daughter got a personalized autograph from Thunderkitty, who was incredibly sweet. If you can get to a show, I highly recommend it.
