Appalachian Championship Wrestling from the KFBE Channel 9 Studio.
Video footage from last weeks brawl between ACW Heavyweight Champion Curt Hennig and Magnum TA, opens the show. As Magnum TA and Hennig are separated, an angry Commissioner Teddy Long announces that since they’ve battled in no DQ matches, I quit matches, cage matches, and first blood matches, the only way to finally settle this feud is in Hell in a Cell.…
Show intro starts.
“Hello, and welcome to Appalachian Championship Wrestling! I’m Gordon Solie and we’ve got an incredible show for you tonight. We’ll see Hacksaw Jim Duggan return to action. We have two main event matches tonight, as The Russians, lead by Ivan Koloff, face the James Gang in tag team action, and Tommy “Wildfire” Rich defends his ACW TV title against the Spoiler. Let’s go to the ring for our opening match.”

A video package breaking down the Hell in a Cell cage plays next.
“Surrounding the ring and ringside area, the Cell stands 20 feet high, and weighs in at over 5 tons. It is an unforgiving place that can end men’s careers. Who will survive Hell in the Cell?”
“Up next, we’ll see the return of the Pit Bulls to an ACW ring!”
The Pit Bulls vs The Mulkey Brothers
The Pit Bulls defeat the Mulkey brothers by pinfall at 2:58, after hitting their Super Bomb finisher on Bill Mulkey.
“Up next we’ve got the Heenan family in action as King Kong Bundy with Bobby Heenan faces Brad Armstrong.”
King Kong Bundy vs Brad Armstrong
Brad Armstrong defeats King Kong Bundy by pinfall at 7:41, after hitting his Russian Leg Sweep finisher. Armstrong shocked the “Walking Condominium’s” manager Bobby Heenan into flabbergasted silence.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, ACW has a new weekly feature for everyone. Starting this week, we’ll feature one throwback match from the early days of professional wrestling. This week’s matchup features Ed “The Strangler” Lewis vs George Hackenschmidt. Let’s go back in time and see these legends compete against each other!”
Ed “Strangler” Lewis vs George Hackenschmidt
Ed Lewis defeats George Hackenschmidt by pinfall at 7:42, after hitting 3 of his Strangler’s Headlock finishers.
A video of last week’s attack on the James Gang by the Russians airs next.

The James Gang vs The Russians (Volkoff and Smirnoff) with Ivan Koloff
The Russians defeat the James Gang by pinfall at 12:21, after Smirnoff hit his Heart Punch finisher on BG James. After the match, Boris Zuchov reveals himself as the 5th Russian, and attacks making it a 3 on 2 beat down of the James Gang, until the Patriot rushes in, evening the odds, chasing off the Russians. The Patriot grabs the announcer’s microphone, and asks Commissioner Teddy Long for the opportunity to face the Russians to a 6 man tag team match next week.
“The Patriot returns just in time to stop another Russian Beatdown of the James Gang. Up next is our main event!! Tommy “Wildfire” Rich defends his ACW TV title against the Spoiler. The Spoiler defeated Mark Henry last week to earn this title match. Let’s go back to the ring.
Main Event for the ACW TV Title
Tommy “Wildfire” Rich (c) vs The Spoiler
The Spoiler defeats Tommy Rich by disqualification at 6:43, when Rich failed to heed referee warnings to stop his attack outside the ring.
ACW rules dictate that a championship title can not change hands on a disqualification.
“That’s all for tonight! Be sure to tune in next week to see The Russians in a six man tag match against the James Gang and The Patriot. We’ll have another classic throwback match and we’ll also see a Russian chain match between Nikita Koloff and Hacksaw Jim Duggan, as well as a no DQ rematch between Wildfire Tommy Rich and the Spoiler for the ACW TV title. I’m Gordon Solie and I’ll see you all next week!!
