Great final morning of River Rumble. director65 , Chad Olson and I went to breakfast, then back to the hotel from a couple rounds each of Slam Wars and Superstar Pro. Loved playing both games again. Don’t be surprised if they pop back up on the YouTube channel in the days ahead. Chad then drove me back Cedar Rapids and I’m in my hotel ready for my flight back to LA early tomorrow. So glad I made the trip out and was super fun to hang out, chat and play some games. Looking forward to next year! Hug thanks to Chad for creating the event and all who attended and made it fun.

Such a fun time! director65 and I rode together to Clinton Saturday morning and ran into Chad Olson & throwingtoasters at the Hi-Vee to pick up some snacks. Then we gathered with the pair of them and malicelover in the magnificently appointed meeting room B of the lavish Quality Inn of Clinton, Iowa... The CWFH tournament was a blast - getting to use cards I'd used only rarely or not at all. Scrap Iron may have fallen in the first round, but Ricker and Sparks went to the final with Ricker coming out the winner. Chad's idea to book a legends show provided a lot of fun and the rundown of the card and match results on Uncharted Territory will be a good time, I'm sure. Speaking of, the round-table discussion was an excellent and, hopefully, informative time - really looking forward to hearing what people think when it drops. Dinner and night at the matches followed. All the activities were great, but the fellowship was the best part. Chad, Grant, Barry, Michael - thank you! Looking forward to doing it again!

It was just an epic weekend. I personally preferred the jokes during the Night at the Matches. I still don’t understand what Superstar Billy Graham was doing with that microphone in his two promos.
It has me looking forward to Filsinger Games Night this Friday, November 18!

Sounds like it was a fun weekend in Clinton! If I had been free, I would have definitely made the 90 mile drive from Iowa City to meet you guys and join the fun, but I had long-standing plans to visit friends in the Twin Cities. I've been especially busy with work over the past six months or more, so I haven't been posting, but I'll get my feds going again over my holiday break and hopefully I can get up to Waterloo for the Hall of Fame weekend next summer. In the meantime I'll look forward to picking up the new legends set and receiving Grant's new bootlegs next month.
