So I've avoided tag teams (heavens forbid 3-man tag teams!) until recenty and the last 6-man I ran got me thinking. Wanted to run it by all you CotG experts out here. Kindly correct me if I'm wrong: - Tag teams have 2 save pin, 1 distraction and 1 outside interference attempts in total per match
- Essentially, the tag team partner on the outside of the ring is the one who attempts the save pin or distraction or outside interference. Unless there are other characters ringside (like other wrestlers, managers, valets, etc)
- For three man tag teams, there are two team mates outside the ring... can they each attempt a pinsave? That is, if the first wasn't successful, can the second man make an attempt if they still have a pinsave left?
- Can a team attempt all three types on one pin attempt (or DQ roll)? Say, a tag team also has a manager and a valet at the ringside, will they be able to attempt a pinsave (by the partner outside the ring), a distraction by the valet, and an outside interference by the (former wrestling) manager?
Thanks in advance, guys.

No matter how many people are involved in the match, it's just two pin save attempts per team. You have to decide if you're going for the pin save or distraction before the pin is rolled, so only one can be attempted at a time.

Emperor Norton has spot on.
Rule of thumb for Filsinger Games: If it seems overcomplicated, you're overcomplicating it.

Now, the one caveat is - if you have a manager at ringside with the the team. The outside interference for the manager or another wrestler accompanying your wrestler is a time when the outside interference could be used.
For example, from the 2090 reimagined, if using Antimatter or Matter and say Comrade Terror in a tag team match you'd want to have the other member of The Cosmic Forces present at ringside, since it improves the other member's stats. The member of Cosmic Forces not in the match could roll as the outside interference if you so choose.

So for each pin attempt, count out of ring or disqualification, you choose one of: - pinsave (2 per match)
- distraction (1 per match)
- neither (esp. when both the previous choices have ran out of uses for the match)
And then, regardless of which of the above choice was made, you can roll outside interference.
Is this correct?

Is this correct? In a tag team match - the only way, unless the charts have changed - that you roll outside interference is if you roll it on the pin save chart OR if you have another wrestler or a manger with you, then you can use it ONCE per match.

I'm a little less stringent regarding having an interfering "ally" at ringside. The idea of someone running down the aisle to interfere in a match is a trope in professional wrestling. Same thing goes for gang interference. Regardless of which you use, or how they got there, you are still allowed only one interference per match, unless a card specifically says otherwise. Like any card game, specific rules on cards override general rules in the rulebook.

Wrestler rolls on defense, PIN is the result. BEFORE the pin is rolled you choose to use pin save, manager distraction, or outside interference (whatever chart that may be: manager interference, generic outside interference, or a manager specific chart). It's always a choice of any one. You cannot stack them under any circumstances. Unless you decide to implement a house rule, Then you do you.

I will allow a PIN save, a manager Distraction, and/or an outside interference to stack; if one fails, we can move on to the next one. This is because occasional overbooked schmoz endings are also a trope of professional wrestling.
