I have been working on the idea for a territory style set up after years of running just a basic national promotion with everyone in it.
So here it is. I bring to you The Legends of Tennessee Wrestling! This is going to be two wrestling promotions running under the banner of the LWF in the state of Tennessee. The Continental Wrestling Association will be running in the city of Memphis and Continental Championship Wrestling will be running in Knoxville. Now, these are not rival promotions. They are running their individual cities with some spot shows in the surrounding area. Guys might jump from one promotion to the other but they will be exclusive to that promotion. Managers are not bound by this and can appear for both promotions if they have clients working there. Jobbers are freelancers and can appear for both promotions. There will also be an LWF World Heavyweight Champion and an LWF World Women's Champion that might come through town from time to time.
Lance Russell will be doing the announcing duties for the CWA while Gordon Solie will be announcing for the CCW. For book keeping purposes, Jerry Jarrett owns Memphis and Ron Fuller owns Knoxville.
I will probably be running both weekly. I am thinking Memphis will run Mondays and Knoxville will run on Fridays. I haven't settled on that quite yet. There will also be some joint shows here and there.

CWA Wrestling: 10/3/2022
live from Memphis, TN
Lance Russell welcomes the fans to the show and they're going to start things off strong as Randy Savage has a few words. Russell mentions that Savage beat the World Champion Big Van Vader just this past Saturday night and he's sure to be lined up for a title shot in the near future. Savage says that he took everything that Big Van Vader had in his arsenal and the World Champion was reduced to escaping with a DQ loss. He wants Jim Cornette and Big Van Vader to know that they have unsettled business and he's coming for that World Title belt.
Lance thanks Savage and mentions that tonight the first ever Southern Heavyweight Champion will be crowned. Also on tonight's card Randy Savage will face Tommy Gilbert, Yukon Eric takes on Soul Train Jones and the Fabulous Ones will be in action.
Fabulous Ones d. The Mulkeys with the Savate Kick
Lance Russell stops the Fabulous Ones. He wants to go over next week's Southern Tag Team Title Tournament with them. He reveals the semi-final match ups for that tournament:
Fabulous Ones vs. Doug and Eddie Gilbert Bobby Eaton and Koko Ware vs. Bill Dundee and Dutch Mantell
Lance mentions that it's quite a field of teams. Keirn talks about how Doug and Eddie Gilbert have teamed for a long time and they are tough opponents to overcome. If they manage to get past them then they're looking at two teams that are just tops of their field. Lane agrees, he will tell anyone that will listen that the Fabulous Ones are the best tag team in wrestling today but they're going to have their work cut out for them next week.
Southern Heavyweight Title Tournament Round 1: Sputnik Monroe d. Bill Dundee by DQ
Southern Heavyweight Title Tournament Round 1: Austin Idol d. Dutch Mantell with the Las Vegas Leglock
Austin Idol stops in at the announce table with Lance Russell. Idol has had a lot on his mind the last couple of days and that is Big Bully Busick. He lost a match to Busick on Saturday night and it has just been eating away at his soul since then. He's got a tournament he needs to win tonight but after that he wants to avenge that loss to Busick and he's going to do whatever it takes.
Southern Heavyweight Title Tournament Round 1: Big Bully Busick d. Jimmy Valiant with the Stump Puller
Southern Heavyweight Title Tournament Round 1: Jackie Fargo d. Eddie Gilbert with the Atomic Drop
Doug Gilbert attacks after the match. He blindsides Fargo with a clothesline and then starts putting the boots to him. Eddie recovers and starts barking orders. Doug gives Fargo a piledriver and celebrates with Eddie before they leave Fargo laid out.
Yukon Eric d. Soul Train Jones with a bear hug
Lance Russell has Jim Cornette on the phone. He asks about the potential of Randy Savage getting a shot at the World Title. Cornette says that is tricky business because Vader is leaving for a tour of Japan in a few days and he'll be gone for a month. On top of that he has a lot of commitments to take care of, the World Champion is a busy man afterall. They aren't ducking Randy Savage, they just have to figure out where they can pencil him in for a title shot. Cornette promises to keep Russell up to date on the status of that title shot.
Southern Heavyweight Title Tournament Semi-Final: Sputnik Monroe d. Austin Idol with the Neckbreaker
Lance Russell is in the ring with Big Bully Busick. Russell mentions that they don't know the current status of Jackie Fargo. Busick takes the mic and means that means he wins by forfeit then. Russell says that according to Jerry Jarrett and Eddie Marlin that they will start a count out for Fargo. He has to the count of 10 to appear in the arena. On the count of 8, Jackie Fargo slowly makes his way to the ring. He's obviously still feeling the effects of the piledriver from Doug Gilbert.
Southern Heavyweight Title Tournament Semi-Final: Big Bully Busick d. Jackie Fargo by DQ
Randy Savage d. Tommy Gilbert with the Flying Elbow Smash
Doug and Eddie Gilbert attack after the match. Savage tries to fight them off but the numbers are just too much. It's a 3 on 1 beatdown until the Fabulous Ones hit the ring for the save. Steve Keirn grabs trhe house mic and tells the Gilberts that they'll see them next week in the tournament.
Southern Heavyweight Title Tournament Final: Sputnik Monroe d. Big Bully Busick with the Neckbreaker to become the 1st Southern Heavyweight Champion
Lance Russell climbs in the ring to interview the new champion. Sputnik Monroe says that there's been no sweeter moment in his life than winning this belt. He's going to walk out of this building and he's going to drink all night and he's going to take home the prettiest woman that he can find. Memphis has a new champion and he's going to run this town.

The first two shows were both great reads. Solid storytelling going on and it definitely makes you what to see what is going to be next. There are some great feuds developing so things may get violent as only southern wrestling can
