I loved 95% of this show and thought the world title matches were fantastic! I just don't understand having someone as primed to be The Guy as Maclin only to give the Gauntlet to a diminishing nostalgia act.

I guess we just have to wait and see where they go with it. They could have Maclin challenge Bully for the contract and beat him. A lot will depend on what plans they have for Bully. A new Aces and Eights might be in the cards. I also had read going into BFG that it looked like Slamovich was poised to win the KO title but she did not. |
