“Thank you for calling The Appalachian Championship Wrestling Hot Line. I’m Gordon Solie, and we have major news regarding new Appalachian Championship Wrestling talent signings. We also have a very special message from Commissioner Theodore Long concerning The Heenan family’s future in ACW.
Here’s the list of the names signing with ACW:
Black Jack Mulligan, Austin Idol, Sgt. Slaughter, Dutch Mantel, manager Jimmy Hart and the returning Harley Race all have signed new ACW contracts.
ACW has also signed these Legendary tag teams to new contracts. The Long Riders, The Moondogs, and the returning Texas Hangmen .
Other notable ACW signings include, Doctor X, Vampiro, D-Lo Brown, 2 Cold Scorpio, Exotic Adrian Street, Mr. Hughes, Ranger Ross, Val Venis, Johnny Rodz, and Billy Busick.
These new signings will have a huge impact on ACW’s championship rankings going forward.

Commissioner Long: “Over the last 2 years, Appalachian Championship Wrestling has had to deal with Bobby Heenan and his Heenan family’s antics in and around the wrestling ring. Upon losing the Prison Cell match, Bobby Heenan, Curt Hennig, King Kong Bundy, Tully Blanchard, and Barry Windham have all asked for, and have been granted their releases from Appalachian Championship Wrestling. We wish them well on their future endeavors.”
