Wouldn't AEW would love to have licensing deals to produce games that promote the product? Filsinger Games and AEW just seem like a glorious partnership. Is it just too expensive to get deals with the big guys? Any thoughts welcome. Thanks, JJ

From scuttle, seems like they (AEW) have zero interest in it.

From scuttle, seems like they (AEW) have zero interest in it. That is disappointing. It seems like it would be perfect for them. Having an NFL team you'd think they would understand the appeal and value in collectable cards

Having a full AEW set would definitely be awesome and soon.

From scuttle, seems like they (AEW) have zero interest in it. Interesting. That seems a bit different than what the folks at FedHQ said about it around last years (2021) Waterloo. I mean why present if there could be questions about being able to fulfill the demand that working with AEW would produce. I mean think of it - Jericho; Omega; Mox; Page; Punk; The Bucks; FTR; MJF; Adam Cole; Bryan Danielson; Orange Cassidy; Brodie Lee, Darby Allen; Sting; Britt Baker; Toni Storm; Thunder Rosa; and Serena Deeb - it would easily become the best selling set ever, and that's the thing: you'd have to be sure you were able to meet demand, if AEW officially was entering.

It would be amazing. That said, AEW has a games division of their own. They have a deal with Upper Deck for trading cards. Similar to NJPW, it's not likely to come to fruition. A couple of the NJPW-related folks I've been able to contact were unable to sign - the root not being their contract with the company, but specifically the fact that Bushi Road produces their own game. Never say never but an indie promotion without their own licensing deals already in place is much more likely than a major promotion like AEW. Not trying to be a buzzkill, but tempering expectations a little.
As for folks we've already signed to the game that happen to be working for major promotions... There may be alternative outlets for updates down the road. We shall see...

I suspect that will start with the usual Con teasers on the 23rd I believe.
