Appalachian Championship Wrestling from the KFBE Channel 9 Studio.
The show opens with a video package from the Appalachian Prison Cell Match* from last week’s Hell Night Super Show, showing various pictures from throughout the match. The final two pictures are of Magnum T.A. looking down at a broken Curt Hennig through the hole in the top of the cell, and Magnum T.A.’s hand being raised by the referee at the end of the match.
Show intro starts
“Hello and welcome to Appalachian Championship Wrestling, I’m Gordon Solie and we’ve got an incredible show for you tonight. We’re still feeling the shockwaves from last weeks Hell Night Super Show!! We have a new ACW Heavyweight Champion!! Magnum T.A. ended Curt Hennig’s run as Champion by winning the Appalachian Prison Cell match, sending Hennig, Heenan, and the rest of the Heenan family for greener pastures. We also have a new Television Champion! Alexis Smirnoff won the TV title by getting the pin on the Patriot after hitting him with his Heart Punch finisher. We’ll see, and hear from the Russians a little later on. We’ll see some of our newly signed talent in action today as well. Our main event is going to be a doozy as the James Gang gets a rematch against the Road Warriors for the ACW Tag Team Championships in a No Disqualification match. The James Gang scored a DQ victory over the L.O.D. at the Hell Night Super Show. Commissioner Theodore Long granted them a rematch and added the No Disqualification stipulation to ensure there’s a true winner. The James Gang feel that they can get the win tonight. Let’s go to the ring for our opening match.
Austin Idol with Jimmy Hart vs Frogman Leblanc
Austin Idol defeats Frogman LeBlanc by submission at 5:41, after applying his Las Vegas Leg Lock finisher. After his match Idol tells Solie that he and Jimmy Hart are in ACW for one thing, and that’s gold. “I’m looking at you Magnum T.A.” Idol said, as he and Hart walk off.
“Up next well see the Russians in action, but first their leader, Ivan Koloff has something to say.”
Ivan Koloff: “Gordon Solie. You saw how we Russians dominated and showed our superior athletic abilities last Sunday by winning all our matches. Comrade Smirnoff captured the ACW Television Title AGAIN, and I destroyed this weak American, Hacksaw Duggan in the Russian chain match. I dragged his bloodied carcass all over the ring. Now Volkoff and Zhukov will show their superior athletic ability over these pathetic Americans, (pointing to the ring at the Mulkey brothers) and will soon win the ACW tag titles, leaving me to take the ACW Heavyweight title from Magnum T.A. Soon this territory will be under Russian control.”
The Russians (Volkoff and Zhukov) vs The Mulkey Brothers
The Russians defeat the Mulkey brothers by pinfall at 5:21, when Nikolai Volkoff hit his Backbreaker Drop finisher on Bill Mulkey. After the match the Russians beat down the Mulkey brothers, placing their Russian flags over the Mulkeys, covering them.
Gordon Solie: “The Russians mean business, and they want all the gold in ACW. Let’s go back to the ring, for our next match, as we’ll see the debut of the rough and tough Texan, “Dirty” Dutch Mantel.”
Dutch Mantel vs George South
Dutch Mantel defeats George South by submission at 4:48, after he applied his Double Dutch Clutch on South.
Gordon Solie: “Strong debut for Dutch Dutch Mantel. It’ll only be a matter of time before he sets his sites on championship gold. We have another debuting wrestler up next, as the extremely flamboyant “Exotic” Adrian Street makes his first appearance in ACW. Let’s go back to the ring.”
Exotic Adrian Street vs Johnny Rodz
Adrian Street defeats Johnny Rodz by pinfall at 6:07, after hitting his Crucifix pin finisher.
Video Package from the Hell Night Super Show shows the James Gang scoring the DQ win over the Road Warriors when Animal was caught slamming B.G. James through the time keeper’s table by the referee.
Gordon Solie: “It’s time for our main event, and it’s for all the marbles as the James Gang faces off with the Road Warriors. Let’s go to the ring.”
ACW Tag Team Championships
No Disqualification Match
The Road Warriors(c) with Paul Ellering vs The James Gang.
The Road Warriors defeat the James Gang by pinfall at 10:23, after hitting their Doomsday Device finisher on B.G. James.
After the match, all 4 of the Russians attack the Road Warriors, beating them down.
The show ends as Ivan Koloff and Alexis Smirnoff hold Hawk and Animal’s heads up, so they can see Volkoff and Zhukov holding up the ACW tag belts.
