Tonight live from Dallas GWA presents Gold Rush Tournament. Tonight GWA will crown its frist World Heavyweight Champion. In our press booth tonight is Lance Russell. Our ring announcer is Dave Brown. GWA Commissioner is Eddie Marlin. And GWA owner is Fritz Von Erich.

*Ernie Ladd wins by pin at 8:54 with Asian Spike
*Ernie goes to the press booth. He tells Russell that he is going to win this tournament. He then runs down GWA and it's wrestlers.

2. Junk Yard Dog vs. Jimmy Garvin***** with Socal Val 1 fall no time limit
*Junk Yard Dog wins by count out at 5:37
*The match ends after Garvin can't get any offensive in and after being throw out of the ring he and Socal storm off.
*The crowd goes crazy for JYD!

3. Fritz Von Erich* vs. Manny Fernandez 1 fall no time limit
*Manny Fernandez wins by pin at 0:31 with flying burrito
*After Fritz recovers he shakes hands with Manny.
*Fritz goes to the press booth to join Lance Russell. They are joined by The Von Erich Family. Fritz says he most be getting to old. Fritz thanks the fans for turning out tonight. He then introduces his son David, Kevin, Kerry, and Mike.
*Eddie Marlin joins the Von Erichs. He tells the fans that in the next serval weeks there will be tournaments for World Tag, Trios, and Jr Heavyweight titles. Also a weekly TV show will start airing on ESN network next week from the Dallas Sportatorium.

*Bruiser Brody wins by pin at 0:52 with jumping knee drop

*Truth Martini and his House Of Truth join Lance Russell in the press booth. Truth talks about the 2022 history of the H.O.T in Texas Pro Wrestling (see WTWA thread). Truth introduces the H.O.T Mil Muertes, Rey Bucanero, Pirata Morgan, Stan Hansen, and our newest member Kamala with his handler Friday.
*Stan Hansen takes the microphone. He says he started something with Andre The Giant in TPW and he challenges Andre to come face him in GWA.

5. Junkyard Dog vs. Ernie Ladd** 1 fall no time limit
*Junkyard Dog wins by pin at 2:54 with THUMP
*JYD is over with Texas crowd.

6. Manny Fernandez** vs. Bruiser Brody 1 fall no time limit

*Crowd boos Bruiser Brody for jumping Fernandez before the bell.

*In the press booth Mil Mascaras and El Santo join Lance Russell. They talk about GWA going to Mexico City in a couple weeks for a tournament to crown a GWA World Trios Championship.
*Fritz Von Erich and Eddie Marlin join Lance Russell next. They talk about upcoming World Tag Team Championship tournament that will take place in Houston. They give a list of the first round match ups.
*Kevin Von Erich and David Von Erich vs. Jimmy Garvin and Gino Hernandez with Socal Val
*Chaz Taylor and Tugboat Taylor vs. Moondog Rex and Moondog Spot
*Tommy Rogers and Bobby Fulton vs. Psycho and Killer

7. GWA World Heavyweight Championship:

*Bruiser Brody is DQ'ed at 3:51 after putting JYD through a table.
*After JYD recovers he says he doesn't want to win a World championship like this and ask for the match to be restarted. Commissioner Marlin agrees.
*At the 10:09 mark Truth Martini comes to the ring and tries to interfere on Bruiser Brodys behalf.
*Bruiser Brody wins by pin at 14:19 with jumping knee drop
*After the match Truth Martini jumps into the ring and puts the GWA World Heavyweight Championship on Brody and raises his hand as show goes of the air.

*The show opens with a video package of highlights from GWA "Gold Rush". The fouse of the highlights was on the main event between JYD and Bruiser Brody. The highlight reel ends showing Truth Martini raising the hand of Bruiser Brody.

*We go live to Dallas Sportatorium we're Lance Russell and Dave Brown are in the press booth with owner Fritz Von Erich and Commissioner Eddie Marlin.
*Fritz and Eddie give a rundown of this weekends Live Event from Houston Texas to crown our 1st GWA World Tag Team Champions.
*Fritz also talks about the Trios Championship Tournament coming to Mexico City. Fritz says that he himself along with his sons Kerry and Mike will enter the tournament.

1. Kerry Von Erich vs. Mister X 1 fall 10min
*Kerry Von Erich wins by pin at 1:18 with discus punch
*Kerry goes to the press booth to talk about the live event from Houston. Kerry says he has signed to be in a eight man tag match. He says he will be teaming with JYD, Manny Fernandez, and Bull Ramos to fight the H.O.T. He says he will bring the pride of Texas into that match.

2. Kip Young vs. Don Bass 1 fall 10min
*Don Bass wins by DQ at 1:29
*The match ends after Kip hits Don with a steel chair.
*Kip lost control after Don tried to put a cigar out in Kip's eye.
*Kip was furious JYD come to the ring to try and claim Kip down.
*Kip goes directly to Eddie Marlin and demands a rematch next week.

3. Gory Guerrero vs. Jack Milliman 1 fall 10min
*Gory Guerrero wins by pin at 2:03 with Gory special
*Gory goes to the press booth. He talks about his family coming to GWA. He says he will have family in both the tag and Trios tournaments. He says he will be entering the Jr Heavyweight tournament he has heard Fritz talking about back stage.

*A video plays from an unknown location. Truth Martini is standing in front of the camera with the H.O.T behind including GWA World Heavyweight Champion Bruiser Brody.
*Truth says Brody has seen the truth and it has set him free. He says that the H.O.T will do in GWA what they couldn't do in TPW (SEE WTWA thread) and that is take over the world of pro wrestling. "So say it the truth" the men respond "So say it the house"

4. Haystacks Calhoun vs. Ron Hucthison* 1 fall 10min
*Haystacks Calhoun wins by pin at 1:36 with big splash
*During the match King Kong Bundy walks to ring side.
*After the match Bundy gets into the ring to confront Haystacks. The two men insult each other until Bundy leaves.
*Lance Russell take a mic to the ring to ask Haystacks what that was all about.
*Haystacks says it's just two big men sizing each other up. He than ask Eddie Marlin to book a match between Bundy and himself for next week on TV.

CCW: Combat Championship Wrestling

*The PPV opens by showing highlights from a press conference that place yesterday.
*CCW owner Lou Thesz is explaining the rules in CCW as a pure type of rules that focuses heavy on Wrestling. Lou says CCW will only run one show per mouth. And Friday night will begin a 16 man tournament to crown a CCW World Champion. He says all First round matches will be 20min 1 fall. If a draw happens there will be a referee judgement to decide the winner. Lou says all matches have been set up by weight heavy will face light.
*Each wrestler was asked questions.
*The best back and forth was between Frank Gotch and George Hackenschmidt. These two have been matched up in the first round.

*We go live to The Chase in St. Louis to Kurt Angle who says he will be giving the play by play tonight.

*After the match Tragos tries to shack Hutton's hand but Hutton pushes him away and insults him.

*The match ends after John pushed Gama out of the ring on purpose.
*Gama is furious he tries to go after John but CCW staff quickly run out to keep Gama out of the ring.
*Lou Thesz comes out to threaten Gama with a fine if he doesn't calm down.
*Gama leaves but not before insulting Thesz on his way out.

*In the press booth Kurt Angle is sitting with Japanese star Giant Baba.
*Baba says he is on tour in United States. And he is here in CCW to challenge Angle to a match next month.
*Angle smiles and accepts the challenge.

*The Duseks get into the ring to get there brother. They taunt Londos on hos way out.

*The crowd gets loud as the match they all came to see is about to start.

*Frank Gotch is DQ'ED after he swears at both Hackenschmidt and the referee after he felt he was thrown out of the ring on purpose.
*The ruling was unsportsmanlike conduct.

*In an after show press conference Lou Thesz says he had fined Gotch and suspended him from being in next months show.
*Join CCW in November for the quarter finals of the world title tournament. And special match between Kurt Angle and Giant Baba.

*Lance Russell, Eddie Marlin, and Fritz Von Erich open the show from the GWA press booth.
*Fritz informs the viewers of some BIG news. He tells us that when GWA goes to Mexico City for the trios title tournament. Stan Hanson and Bruiser Brody will face JYD and Andre The Giant in a tag team match. Fritz also tells us that GWA is signing Jr heavyweights to wrestle in a tournament for the GWA Jr title. He says the Jr division is for wrestlers 220 pounds and under.
*Eddie Marlin reminds fans that GWA has a weekly show on ESP TV and the main event this week will be Haystacks Calhoun vs. King Kong Bundy.
*Lance Russell gives the viewers at home a rundown of the nights actions and then sends it to ring announcer Dave Brown, who is already in the ring.

*Before the start of the first match Jimmy Garvin & Gino Hernandez jump Kevin and David Von Erich while they are greeting fans.
*David is knock out and Kevin ribs are hurt from multiple chairs shots.
*Eddie Marlin and GWA official are going to rule a no contest. But Kevin wants to have the match.

*Truth Martini grabs a microphone and insults Texas. He then tells everyone in GWA that the H.O.T does what it wants when it wants. And when they what the tag team titles they will just take them.
*The H.O.T walk to the locker room as the Houston fans throw trash at them and boo them loudly.

5. Moondog Spot & Moondog Rex vs. Jimmy Garvin & Gino Hernandez with Socal Val 1 fall no time limit
*Moondog Spot & Moondog Rex win by forfeit
*Eddie Marlin and Fritz Von Erich come to the ring before the match starts.
*Eddie informs Garvin, Gino, and Socal that GWA official have decided that they are out of this tournament for unsportsmen like conduct in their first match and the Moondog will go to the finals.
*Socal is angry and protest. But Marlin tells her it final.
*Garvin, Gino, and Socal leave but not before Socal slaps Fritz.
*Fritz then tells Socal that she is suspended for one mouth for slapping a GWA offical/owner.
*Socal tries to get back into the ring to go after Fritz but Garvin holds her back.
*Gino yells at Fritz telling him that they will get him and his family for this.

6. Timmy Rogers & Bobby Fulton win by forfeit due to the Guerreros being unable to wrestle

*The camara does a shot of the arena.
*While the camara is moving we see standing just outside the doors of the Sportatorium is Killer Brooks smoking in the parking lot.
*Eddie Marlin gives an update on the suspendtion that Fritz Von Erich gave to Socal Val this past Sunday for slapping him. He says Socal has gotten a Lawer, and though legal tactics has gotten the suspendtion lifted.
*Lance Russell says we are ready for tonight's action and sends to Dave Brown who is already in the ring.

1. Skip Young** vs. Don Bass** 1 fall 10min
*10:00 Draw
*After the match ends both men keep fighting.
*Killer Brooks runs from outside to jump Skip from behind. The fight turns into a 2 on 1
*GWA staff run out to pull the two sides apart.

*El Santo is in the press booth with Lance Russell. He talks about the upcoming Trios Championship tournament that will take place in Mexico City. He says tickets are sold out but the event will air for free on ESN TV
*Fritz than join Lance Russell and tells the fans at home that Andre The Giant has signed to be at the Trios tournament in a tag team match. He says it will be Bruiser Brody and Stan Hansen vs. JYD and Andre The Giant
*Fritz also says that the Von Erichs have some pay back coming to Gino Hernandez, Jimmy Garvin, and Socal Val.

2. Frogman Leblanc vs. Hercules Ayala 1 fall 10min
*Hercules Ayala wins by tap out at 1:52 with figure four leg lock

*A video from an unknow location plays. Truth Martini is standing alone in a dark room. Truth sends a warning to all who want the Trios titles. He says his team will destroy everyone they face. He also talks about JYD and Andre The Giant. He tells them that Brody and Hansen aren't going to Mexico City to play around. He says Hansen what to end Andre in Mexico City. He says, "So say it the truth". All member of the H.O.T step in behind him and say "So say it the house"

*Giant Baba wins by pin at 2:46 with neck breaker
*After the match Baba joins Russell in the press booth.
*Baba talks about his United States tour. He says that he is booked to be in an 8-man tag team match later this month for GWA. He also says he will be wrestling for CCW in November against Kurt Angle.
*Skip Young joins Russell and Baba in the press booth. Skip talks about what happened with him tonight with Brooks and Bass. He asks Baba if he would team with him next week to face Brooks and Bass.
*Baba says he would be happy to.
*The two shake hands.

*A video plays highlights from this past weekend's tag team tournament.
*The new GWA World Tag Team Champions Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers join Lance Russell in the press booth.
*Fulton and Rogers talk about how happy they are to be GWA World Tag Team Champions and how they look forward to defending the titles against everyone. They then tell the fans that they are so excited to be champions that they will defend their title here next week on ESN TV against the Moondogs.

*The match ends after King Kong Buddy repeatedly hits Calhoon with a chair.

They tell the fans tags are not required a wrestler most only leave the ring for their partner to enter into the match. And tonight, all Trios matches have no time limit. And the winner of the King of Trios will also be the first GWA World Trios Champions.
*Note: Using Trios rules from Chikara handbook. This is not your AEW Trios.
*Lance Russell then gives a rundown of the nights card before sending it to Dave Brown who is already in the ring.

They talk about defending their tag titles this Tuesday night on the ESN TV network against the Moondogs. The say they want to be fighting champions and face everyone. They say they are issuing an open challenge to any team in the world to come to GWA to try and take the belts from them.

*The hate between these six men could be felt in the Arena. The insults and pushing started before the bell. (Their feud goes back to earlier this year in TPW which is part of the WTWA thread)
*After the match Bruiser Brody and Stan Hansen run to the ring and attack Demon, Santo, and Wagner.
*Muertes, Bucanero, and Morgan join in the attack making it a 5 on 3 fight.
*Junkyard Dog and Andre The Giant quickly come to the ring to even the odds.
*GWA staff along with Eddie Marlin and Fritz Von Erich run out to pull the ten men apart and restore order.

*While order is being restored in the ring Lance Russell from the press booth talks about the next live event for GWA. Its is a Jr Heavyweight title tournament to be held from the Dallas Sportatorium. Lance informs the fans that the Jr Heavyweight division is 220 pounds and under. He says if a wrestler is over 220 they will have one hour to cut the weight after they weight in. (Note weight is cut with dice roll each wrestler gets one free dice roll to lose weight. Any extra rolls will cost 1 point towards pin rating.) Lance says order is restored let's get back to the action.

7. Junkyard Dog & Andre The Giant* vs. Bruiser Brody & Stan Hansen with Truth Martini 1 fall 60min
*Bruiser Brody & Stan Hansen win by pin at 3:22
*The match ends when Stan Hansen pin Andre The Giant after two Lariats
*The crowd is stunned, and you could hear a pin drop.
*The only noise in the arena is that of Truth, Brody, and Hansen mocking and insulting Andre.
*Hansen tells Andre that he won't rest until he beats Andre one on one.
*Note JYD and Brody never got into the match. It was all Hansen from the start.
*As Andre is walking to the locker room Lance Russell tries to get an interview with him. But Andre tells Russell he will talk with him on Tuesday from Dallas in TV.

*Lance Russell informs the fans of GWA next PPV event. Thanksgiving Star Wars coming to you from the MGM in Las Vegas on Thanksgiving night. Russell says that night all GWA titles will be defended and there will be a $50,000 battle royal.
*Eddie Marlin joins Russell. He tells the fans at home that at Star Wars the GWA World Heavyweight Champion Bruiser Brody will defend his title against Junkyard Dog.

8. King of Trios Finals for the GWA World Trios Championship: Mil Mascaras* & Manny Fernandez** & Bull Ramos** vs. Blue Demon & El Santo & Dr. Wagner Jr*** 1 fall no time limit
*Mil Mascaras & Manny Fernandez & Bull Ramos win by pin at 15:51
*The match ends after Manny Fernandez pins Dr. Wagner Jr with a flying burrito
*Both teams showed the other great respect before and after the match.
*El Santo put the Trios belts on the winning team
*El Santo grabbed a microphone. He thanked the fans for coming out. He told the fans that GWA will be back at Arena Mexico in December for a non-TV house show. He then turns toward Mil Mascaras and issues a challenge for a one-on-one match in December against himself.
*Mil Mascaras takes the microphone and accepts El Santo's challenge.
*The two men shake hands on it.

*HCW Owners Tod Gordon and Paul Heyman hold a press conference at 2300 Arena in Philadelphia to announce the start up of a new promotion Hardcore Championship Wrestling.
*Paul Heyman says there are no rules in HCW except in tag team matches. There will be tags no tornado rules.
*Tod Gordon says the first HCW card will be on PPV 31 October 2022. The event will be from 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.
*Paul Heyman says the main event that night will be a Singapore Cane match Sandman will face Justin Credable.
