Smack....Vampiro takes a nice win there even if Mitchell had to aid slightly. The Sinister Minister has been a lot more effective against the Vintage guys than he was during Vampiro's program with longtime nemesis, Konnan... Very fortunate indeed!

Vampiro faring well against the vintage guys! Bring on Hackenschmidt!!! Although he won't be facing the entire vintage crew during this chapter, Hack is certainly in the queue... Should be interesting to see how the Vampire Legend fares against his potent finisher mechanic... Very happy that you're enjoying the story so far, my friend... Many thanks for staying tuned!

Definitely got some plans for the Vampire Legend to face off with the Best of Mexico... Excited to see how he stacks up in a series with the Man of 1000 Deaths... Think he had a pretty intense real-life feud with Los Bucaneros that I'd like to revisit as well... Many thanks for staying tuned!

NAIL IN THE COFFIN A Vampire Legend
Chapter Two: VINTAGE CUTS
6/ VAMPIRO (w/ James Mitchell) def. Henry Irslinger via DQ <outside interference> when Rod Fenton arrived and pulled the referee out of the ring to prevent a near fall. -- Tokens: Vampiro 3 - Irslinger 2 - Irslinger nearly scored the pinfall after an ARMLOCK AND LEG TRIP, but interference by Mitchell turned the tide. Vampiro managed to distract the referee, allowing Mitchell to smash Irslinger with his walking stick. The cheap tactics prompted Fenton to even the playing field, leading to a technical decision in Vampiro's favor.
7/ VAMPIRO (w/ James Mitchell) def. Rod Fenton (w/ Henry Irslinger) in a No Holds Barred match. Vampiro pinned Fenton after a top rope spin kick. -- Tokens: Vampiro 5 - Fenton 2 - Neither man was shy about pushing the envelope as the action repeatedly spilled out to the floor. Fenton used a broken bottle to slice a wicked gash across Vampiro's forehead, but it was not enough to get the job done. When Fenton was in obvious trouble, Irslinger jumped onto the apron and started looking for a chance to interven. Mitchell used his walking stick to trip Irslinger and Vampiro brought the match to an abrupt end.
8/ VAMPIRO (w/ James Mitchell) def. Evan Lewis via pinfall after a superkick. -- Tokens: Lewis 4 - Vampiro stormed the ring before the introductions and ruthlessly attacked Lewis, ramming his head into a corner post. <Vampiro started on Level 3 Offense.> - A distraction by Mitchell helped Vampiro avoid disqualification as he pulled out all the stops. Lewis just started to gather some momentum when Vampiro powered out of a knee bar to regain the upper hand.
9/ VAMPIRO (w/ James Mitchell) def. Yusuf Ismail via DQ <out of the ring> during a wild brawl. -- Tokens: Vampiro 1 - Ismail held a firm advantage for the majority of this contest, wearing Vampiro down with several falling body slams and a potent body scissors. As soon as Vampiro threatened to take control, Ismail bailed out to the floor. He refused to heed multiple warnings from the referee, leading to a disappointing outcome to this relatively brief encounter.
7th consecutive day for playing and posting in this thread.

Rod Fenton and Yusuf Ismail in a Triple Threat match. Vampiro pinned Ismail after an uranage. -- Tokens: Vampiro 1 - Ismail 4 - Fenton 9 - Following the clever counsel of his manager, Vampiro avoided direct conflict as much as possible while Fenton and Ismail punished each other in brutal fashion. Fenton was removed from the equation when Ismail knocked him unconscious with a STRANGLEHOLD. Wasting no time whatsoever, Vampiro launched a ferocious assault before Ismail had a chance to refocus his attention. - That last match was originally going to be Vampiro vs. George Hackenschmidt, but the input from TTX had me changing direction on the fly... Would love to hear any ideas that fellow promoters have for future chapters... And don't worry -- Vampiro vs. Hack will happen tomorrow!

9 tokens without taking the fall, impressive by Fenton.
Looking forward to Vampiro and Hack.
