After going to local indy shows throughout the years in North Carolina, and recently catching George South at a AML show, where he scissored with The Acclaimed, i wondered about the legacy of George South. After almost 40 years in wrestling, and being one of the top trainers in the sport, George has acquired all the accolades and respect from his peers, and the fans of professional wrestling.
In the Legends of Wrestling Universe, George is seen as what some may call "enhancement talent", or some may call a "jobber", as George has made a living, and a career, of making other talent look good in the wrestling ring.
Now, as his career comes closer to the inevitable end, George is looking for that one last great ride. That one last trip down memory lane. That one last thrill, to go out on his own terms. Join us, as we take trips to various bingo halls, basketball gyms, armories, recreation centers and county fairs, as George goes on the road to find the one win in LOW, where he can go out on top.
Each post, George will have a new match against other professional wrestlers in the LOW Universe. George will face all, heavyweights, junior heavyweights, women, tag team technicians, or other enhancement talent. We will travel with George until wins. A randomizer will decide George's opponent each time, while we join George on the road, until he wins, via pinfall.
The first match in this series, we will join right now at ringside, as George faces Tommy Rogers in Kingsport, Tennessee, at the Lynn View Community Center!
1. George South vs Tommy Rogers
Rogers wins initiative. Rogers throws George into the ropes, and conects with a huge dropkick, and goes in for the kill! Rogers connects with TOMIKAZE!!! He pins George for the win!
Winner: Tommy Rogers
After George recovers, Tommy helps George up to his feet, George lets the fans know he's gotta lot left in the tank!!!
