A shocking headline I know. XPW doing something controversial.
There was alot of negativity with Masada being booked however XPW broke new heights turning a hispanic-american referee heel by joining the MAGA faction with Necro butcher and Jasmin St Clare. The official then cut a racist promo putting the group over and abusing any Mexican fans in attendance.
Seeing wrestlers react has been something. Alot of wrestlers have condemned XPW including Brandon Kirk who advised fans to watch "literally any other show this weekend" before telling fans if they must watch XPW atleast find a free stream.
XPW have responded to fans on twitter who have criticised the promotion by telling them to go **** themselves.
Ahh Rob Black, classy as ever

I watched the show last night (and paid $ for it). I didn't understand what the Masada being cancelled angle was about. Clearly worked but not sure if it had a basis in something I missed irl?
The MAGA angle - heels should be heels. That's the problem with wrestling these days. There's no one to hate. Rob Black knows this.
As far as Brandon Kirk's comments, he's just the mouthpiece for his buddy Danny Demanto who has beef with Black.
In this era of social media, where every word someone utters or writes is polarizing and is somehow weaponized, Rob Black is using this. He has never been afraid to stir things up. Which I'm okay with. Makes things far more interesting.
So, like it or not, Black absolutely knows what he is doing. Anyone watching XPW should expect a sh*tshow and plan accordingly.

Yeah the Masada angle is based off real life issues with alot of wrestlers and fans saying he shouldn't be booked anywhere due to allegations that have been made. Rob Black is certainly the king of controversy and he knows it will get everyone talking about the show. Heels should be heels but I think it was more the language used that people took issue with. However devil's advocate you could argue people being too sensitive or looking a reason to complain. Was the show good tho, was working so haven't had a chance to watch it all yet

I looked into the Masada thing and found nothing. The only thing close was a call to not book him because of XPW association. Looks to me like a lot of this is stemming from Danny Demanto’s camp (NHB). Could it be that Black is moving in on Demanto’s “territory” in New Jersey next month? Or Black signing some of Demanto’s guys (Shlak) to semi exclusive, higher paying deals? I halfway think it’s totally a work myself. Black started out last year with an anti cancel culture spin and it took this long to actually get it rolling. And it’s pedal to the metal. He WANTS to upset people in that circle. No question. As to the show quality. 50/50. The women’s death matches were good. It was cool to see Drake Younger back in action. Another controversial/black listed guy. Seems part of Black’s plan. Shlak/Angel was okay. Angel definitely has been away from the game for a while. Rusty. In fact it was essentially a handicap match as Angel had his old partner helping him most of the match. I was most looking forward to Masada/Vampiro but aside from the weird angle they did it was more a brawl than a match until the end. Vampiro was less than spectacular imo (sorry Pariah). Overall it was ok if you want to see a slightly above average XPW sh*tshow. Lol.

So then why isn’t he in jail?
I distrust when people make facebook posts and not police reports.

Vampiro was less than spectacular imo (sorry Pariah). HA! No apology needed, my friend... I've come to accept that his best years in the ring are definitely behind him.

speaking of XPW, XPW today announced they are no longer working with Dirty Ron:
XPW Wrestling @thexpwwrestling Mikey Gordon, Known as Dirty Ron McDonald, is no longer part of XPW.
'Dirty' Ron McDonald (Michael Gordon) Arrested For Alleged Assault And False Imprisonment
According to the San Diego Police Department records, FIST Combat promoter and Independent wrestler "Dirty" Ron McDonald (real name Michael Gordon) was arrested on November 2 for alleged false imprisonment with violence and assault with force.
McDonald recently wrestled at XPW Halloween In Hell 3. XPW put out a statement saying McDonald was no longer part of the company.
McDonald made headlines earlier this year when he accused GCW of falsifying COVID testing results.
