You hear the organ playing and a mysterious man playing it! The camera then shows the stage that has tombstones style Titan-trons with Jack-o-lanterns decorated throughout the sold out venue!
MATT STRIKER: “On this night, Pro Wrestling’s Battleground’s “Don’t Wake The Dead” comes to you from LA’s Globe Theater, sold out and standing room only!”
EXCALIBUR: “PWB’s debut, we’ll crown our 1st Battleground World Champion, 2 monsters collide in what’s called a Devil’s Choice Match, and great wrestling action through out this night!”

RICOCHET: “Scorpio Sky, tonight you and I are set to start the new Battleground era, and I’ll prove to you and the world, I’ll be the King of the Battleground!”
SCORPIO SKY: “Ricochet, you claim you’re going to be the King! After tonight they should call you the Joker. tonight I’ll beat you, then enter the Championship Warfare, and will be the 1st Battleground World Champion!”

After the match introductions Ricochet tried a “Code of Honor” only to get suckered punched and Sky taking the advantage early! Ricochet managed to even things up as the 2 put on a classic match of high flying and wrestling as the match was going back to Sky’s favor the bell rings!

The 2 wrestlers engaged in a stair down, Christopher Daniels in one of the private balconies of the venue was looking on!

WRESTLING’S GREATEST TAG TEAM
Richards & Haas started the match the 2 exchanged moves with no one gaining the upper hand! Benjamin & Edwards does like wise after the tag, as all 4 wrestlers was trash talking in the ring the 4 went to brawling throughout the venue and back into the ring. Benjamin had Richards on the defensive until Haas tagged in! Richards managed to capitalize on Haas’ mistake and tagged in Edwards! Again action spilled out of the ring ending up with Benjamin getting Richards in the ring alone Stokely Hathaway slides in a chair as Benjamin used a DDT on Richards, Jay Lethal managed to get Edwards attention away from the match as Haas & Benjamin finished Richards off with the Leap Of Faith!
WINNERS WRESTLING’S GREATEST TAG TEAM (18:32)
As Edwards returns to the ring to comfort his teammate, Richards clearing the Cobb webs and a disappointing look at Edwards as WGTT leaves the ring with Stokely Hathaway!
The end of the year, closing doors and finishing up loose ends from the year that went by………Pro Wrestling’s Battleground only just got started…….. on December 9th PWB will end 2022 with a Final Conflict of the year; from Las Vegas at the Dollar Loan Center………….Final Conflict 2022…Live on PPV!

CHRISTOPHER DANIELS
In the early stage of the match Cage used his power advantage until Daniels quickness made it had for him. Cages power did some good as he had the Fallen Angel nearly beaten after a tombstone piledriver in what some says was a 3 count but the referee made it clear CD got his shoulder up right as the 3rd count of the pin hit. As Cage was confronting the referee about the count, this allowed Daniels to get a second wind and nearly Pin Cage twice both times after the BME! A shocked Daniels was then hit with Weapons X from nowhere and Cage using an arrogant cover nearly pinned him! The closing of the match saw Cage missing a leg drop, Daniels hits a vicious kick to the head a BME and Flying Elbow managed to put away The Machine!
WINNER CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (17:56)
As Daniels was celebrating his win, Cage from behind, spinning around his opponent……out of respect extended his hand…..the 2 wrestlers exchanged handshakes and left the ring as Scorpio Sky was watching from one of 2 bars near ringside!
The Briscoe’s walking to the ring to a mixture of cheers and boos!
JAY BRISCOE: “Some loves us, some of you hate us………….”
MARK BRISCOE: “Come on’ Jay…..tell’em we are here for a fight!”
JAY BRISCOE: “That’s right, we offered a challenge to any tag team…….So who’s gonna take up with Dem’ Boys?………….
You see a figure coming through the front entrance and pass the fans…………It’s Kevin Steen as the Fight-Steen-Fight chats started!
KEVIN STEEN: “I thought I’d drop in, kick some Briscoe ass, and walk out and fly back to Stamford, Connecticut! And I didn’t come alone either!…………
Once again you hear the Organ start to play, the Mysterious Man from earlier leaves the organ, walks up the stage….. removed his phantom of the opera mask, The plain black mask that was under it, to reveal another mask………..It’s El Generico!!!!!!!!!!!

KEVIN STEEN & EL GENERICO
Jay & Steen brawled and wrestled the start of the match until action spilled outside and Steen used a beer bottle on Jay at the bar! Steen & Generico pounded, beat, and stretched Jay until he made the hot tag to Mark! After Mark was a house on fire taking to both opponents all 4 wrestlers engaged in a brawl that went to the bar as Mark threw Generico across the bar! As The Briscoe’s looked as if they were ready to put away Steen, Generico returned to the ring with a tray breaking it over Mark’s head as Steen hits the F-CNQ on Jay for the win!

Hennig had no answer for the unorthodox style of Cassidy! Hennig managed to do some offense but it was all Cassidy until he climbed up the turnbuckle as Hennig caught him slamming him to the mat, an axe and a Hennig-Plex later…..a perfect win!

Hennig was celebrating his win only for The Sandman joined him in the ring….The Hardcore Icon blew smoke in his face, takes a swing with his Cain but missed! As Hennig left the Sandman & Orange Cassidy celebrated with beers as the fans sung “Enter Sandman!”

The 3 wrestlers trash talked each other until the 3 brawled, Aires landed a low blow on Danielson, McGuinness and Aires battled on the venue’s floor, Danielson recovered nailed his 2 opponents with a dive over the ropes onto the floor! McGuinness & Danielson battled as McGuinness nailed his Jawbreaker Lariat on the Dragon, Aires hits a low blow on the Brit, a Brainbuster and he’s eliminated!
Nigel McGuinness is eliminated (14:32).
Aires & Danielson continued the match until Aires made a costly mistake as Danielson locked in a Cattle mutilation for the submission victory!

As The American Dragon was celebrating his win……Jay Lethal hits the ring attacking Danielson nailing his Lethal Injection……..You see a figure walking through the fans…….It’s Jon Moxley!!!!!!!!

After the match WGTT ran into the ring followed by Claudio, along with Danielson the 6 wrestlers brawled around the venue and to the dressing room area!
You see the organ start playing without anyone, the lights turn red as The Sinister Minister himself

JAMES MITCHELL: 2 sworn enemies will do battle, one will survive and fight on, the other will go straight to Hell! Behold the choice has been made, and a soul will be the payment…………. “
A hearse pulls up in front of the venue! Six pallbearers unloads a casket and brings it into the venue and next to the ring! As The Sinister Minister lets out his evil laugh the lights goes dark, flames shoot out from the ringposts as the lights return both Mil Muertes & Matanza with Dario Cueto are in the ring!

The 2 Monsters of Lucha wasted little time making the casket a weapon each slamming the other on it during the match. 1 of the highlights saw both wrestlers at the bar where Matanza had chokeslammed Muertes threw a table from atop of the bar! Another highlight saw both men up in the balcony area having Muertes throwing Matanza down the steps to the ground floor! The best highlight was both wrestlers behind the bar using bottles against each other and Matanza picking up Muertes and tossing him into the bar’s mirror! The end saw Matanza getting ready to place Muertes in the casket, as Matanza opened the casket a ball of fire hits him, James Mitchell climbed out of the casket with a rock! Muertes strikes Matanza repeatedly with the stone, placing Matanza in the casket, grabbing Dario by the throat clokeslamming him in the casket with his brother closing the lid!

You see the Battleground World Championship belt at the entrance as it’s main event time!!!!!!

Aires & McGuinness started the match was soon joined by Hennig, Jay Briscoe, Ricochet, & Moxley…..the 6 brawled in and around the ring……Hennig had just pinned Ricochet after a vicious Axe! As more wrestlers joined in the chaos of the match The Sandman threw out Charlie Haas only for Benjamin who never officially entered the match helped Haas grab the Sandman, Sandman with his trusty Cain whipping the WGTT all the way to the back. As Mil Muertes entered all the wrestlers ganged up on the monstrous Lucha eliminating him! The Briscoe’s was fighting each other only for McGuinness to lariat both brothers over the top! The final 6 was left as they brawled everywhere Steen was helping his partner El Generico eliminate Danielson, then Steen eliminated Generico! Daniels and McGuinness was going at it as Moxley and Steen was brawling resulting with Steen using a Jack Daniels bottle to KO Mox, Daniels used a BME and pinned McGuinness, as Steen low blowed Daniels throwing him over the top rope……..as Steen was demanding his belt Mox against doctors and a bloody mess went at it with everything he had but Steen was able to put the last person in his way to glory out with a Package Piledriver and the pin!

A bloody Kevin Steen with El Generico celebrates the win…….
KEVIN STEEN: “I defeated everyone that had entered the Battleground! Now I’m going to take this belt, and present it to Stephane, Nick, and Paul at a real corporation of wrestling! I’m not going to Disneyland…..I’m going to Stamford!!!!!!!”

Wild Thing booms out as Jon Moxley makes his way through the fans up in the balcony with a microphone in hand!
JON MOXELY: “1st thing I’m going to address is, there’s no f’n way the Battleground World Title will make it to Paul’s desk in Stamford! Steen, we’re not done yet! 2nd Johnny Wrestling? Gargano, you walk out at the end of the PPV, like some hero? NO! A coward, after everyone went to combat you stroll out to make a statement? You did, you said you’re a coward! Prove me wrong let’s battle! Let me know!”

It was a wrestling classic as Danielson, Haas, & Benjamin wrestled each other! As the match continued Jay Lethal took out Castagnoli with chair shots leaving Danielson by himself and ultimately being defeated after Benjamin hitting a lariat from the top turnbuckle!
WINNERS WRESTLING’S GREATEST TAG TEAM (12:53)
After the match Johnny Gargano had words with William Regal at the announcer’s table!
JOHNNY GARGANO: “You tell Mox, sit up at the balcony next week! He’ll get a good look why I’m Johnny Wrestling!”
WILLIAM REGAL: “Fine, sunshine, but actions are louder than words!”
Regal gets up and slaps Gargano across the face as Danielson & Castagnoli steps in front of Gargano as security separates the wrestlers!
EXCALIBUR: “At Final Conflict 2022 The Battleground TV Championship will be on the line as 6 wrestlers will compete in a Ladder War! The Battleground TV Title is going to be defended regularly on Fight-Night and PPV. It will always have a 20 minute time limit, but it also carry’s what some would call option c! After 5 successful title defenses the TV champion can cash in his championship for a World Title shot, with advanced notice so PWB can promote this historic match!”
MATT STRIKER: “Tonight 2 wrestlers will met in an elimination match where the winner will advance to the Ladder War for the TV Title!”

It was a back and forth match! At 1 point Hennig hit his Hennig-Plex many thought that was it but Cage kicked out of it! As the match continues Hennig kept the pressure on Cage until Cage used a crossbody press and secured the 1st spot in Ladder War!

It was an outstanding rematch between 2 of the best high flyers in PWB! Sky had the early advantage until a mistimed dive to the floor! Ricochet took advantage of Sky’s mistake and managed to score the pin after a double rotation moonsault!

Somewhere in Stamford at an office building Steen & Generico walking up to the entrance, only to be met at the door by the “King of Producers” Steve Corino!
STEVE CORINO: “Nice work, Steen! But well, the bosses want more! I’m here to inform you that our job isn’t done yet! The Battleground must be shut-down! Yes like the others before them! I’m now been
put in charge of our war against the Battleground! I’ll lead us to once again help prove that this company from Stamford is the only wrestling in the world!”

You see a tour bus pull up to the RMA, the logo of the BWC “Biggest Wrestling Corporation” on the side as Corino, Generico, and the Battleground World Champion Steen, dressed in suits and ties seen exiting the bus and walking into the venue! It was a quick paced start both wrestlers trying to get the advantage! Bryan took advantage of Generico’s mistake of taunting Regal and the fans! As The Dragon tortured the masked man! Afte unsuccessfully locking in some submission holds the Dragon went into the ropes only for Corino to pull the top rope down causing Danielson to crash to the floor, Generico hitting a dive on The Dragon on the floor! Generico almost had the Dragon beat on 4 occasions but was getting frustrated mistimed a backdrop which caused the Dragon to capitalize on it! The Dragon was thought to have pinned Generico only for Corino to place the masked man’s foot on the rope, prompted Regal to use his trusty brass knuckles to KO Corino! As Corino was helped to the back & Regal escorted from ringside the 2 wrestlers did everything thing to win this match only for the bell to ring!

As the match closed Gargano almost got Sydal to submit only for him to release his hold, as he pointed to Moxley, Gargano finished off Sydal with a Double Arm DDT!

It was a back and forth match until the Patriot took control and was very close to the championship win after the Uncle Slam! Steen managed to turn the tide of the match when the battle went out of the ring as he managed to place his masked challenger on a table and climbed a ladder using a senton putting himself and the challenger threw the table. As the match was nearing the 18 minute mark both wrestlers bloody and Battered The Patriot was on the verge of victory after hitting The Patriot Missile unfortunately Steen moved the referee into the move, Patriot hits another Uncle Slam! As the masked challenger made the cover……out from the fans Rhyno hits the ring…..Gore..Gore..Gore! Steen is back up and finishing off the Patriot with a Package Piledriver!

Match started with some technical difficulties, lights flickering which distracted the wrestlers! Aires managed to control the match once the difficulties went away. As Ciampa made his comeback the lights again flickered, and then darkness! An evil laughter was heard, lights retuned and Mil Muertes had both wrestlers by the throat, and a choke slam! The lights goes dark, as they returned James Mitchell appears laughing!

Williams quickness and power had Edwards on the defense for most of the match! Edwards managed to turn the match to his favor after hitting a dive on Williams from the ring to the floor and then ended the match after the Die Hard!

Ciampa takes the pen, and smiles at James Mitchell……He levels the Sinister Minister with a clothesline, and then takes the pen and stabbed the evil manager in the head drawing blood, and then signs the contact in Mitchell’s own blood, leaving the contact with the bloody James Mitchell as he leaves the ring with a sadistic smile!”

As Rhyno & Corino took turns punishing Mark, El Generico attacked Jay from behind injuring his knee! As it looked like the BWC would get another win on Dem Boys, as the referee was distracted by Generico, Corino tried to toss the hammer to Rhyno, Mark intercepted the object and Mark with the hammer nailed Rhyno; Jay rolled him up for the victory!

As the Briscoe’s was getting ready to go to the back Reno Scum attacked them from behind, leaving the brothers laying in the ring!

The Englishman hits the Swiss Superman with his Jawbreaker Lariat for a near 3 count, and continued the punishment until the match went out of the ring! Castagnoli took charge after the fight went to the floor and nearly got the victory! As the Swiss Superman whipped McGuinness into the turnbuckle the Englishman hits the Rebound Lariat, near fall, locked in the London Dungeon as Castagnoli passes out!

Lethal didn’t go for Cassidy’s opening sloth style attack as he dominated the opening of this match! Lethal feeling cocky played to the fans whipping Cassidy into the ropes setting up for a backdrop……Cassidy countered with a piledriver and……hit the Orange Punch for a near fall! As Cassidy was fired up gaining momentum towards a victory WGTT comes out causing a brief distraction enough to switch the favor back to Lethal who almost got the victory after the Lethal Injection! The Best Friends came out brawled with WGTT, and again Cassidy countered Lethal’s offense and nailed a 2nd Orange Punch, Hathaway managed to place Lethal’s foot on the rope to stop the pin! The match end as Cassidy whipped Lethal into the turnbuckle as he charged Lethal moved rolling up Cassidy placing his feet on the ropes for the pinfall victory!

It wasn’t until late in the match the referee actually managed to contain the match in the ring, Williams was busted open after a very stiff European uppercut from Taylor, as it looked as if Taylor was going in for the kill, Williams managed to make a comeback ending the match with a Doctor-Bomb!

Moxley made his entrance as Enter Sandman started to play but suddenly stops! On the titan tron you see Johnny Gargano attacking The Sandman with deadly chair shots!

Flight of the Valkyries start to play….it’s Bryan Danielson!”
BRYAN DANIELSON: “ unfortunately the young kid, you hand selected has been attacked and the doctors states that he is not fit to compete. Since you don’t have a match or opponent, I’ll step in, and even put a wager on it; if you win, I will never challenge for that Battleground World Title. If I win, I get the shot at that belt anytime I want.”
STEVE CORINO: “ no no no no and no! The BWC’s champion will not do…………”
Bryan Danielson mockingly making chicken noises and flapping his arms, as Steen grabs microphone from Corino!

The 2 men exchanged punches to open the match, Danielson’s quickness gave him the early advantage. Steen managed to gain the upper hand for a minute until a mistimed turnbuckle climb allowing the Dragon to slam Steen hard to the mat! As the Dragon was looking to put away his opponent Steen managed to pull the referee into a Danielson kick! As the referee was out, Corino tried to interfere only for Regal to KO him using his brass knuckles, El Generico tried to enter by Castagnoli intercepted the masked man, but Rhyno from nowhere hits the Gore on the Dragon, and a new referee slides in the ring as Steen hits a sleeperhold suplex and scores the pin making Danielson not eligible to challenge for the Battleground World Championship ever!
WINNER KEVIN STEEN (16:47)
After the match Mox, Castagnoli, along with The Patriot entered the ring as a 8 man brawl erupted between the BWC & the Blackpool Combat Club/The Patriot! As the brawling hits the backstage area security manage to break them up as the promoter of PWB shows up!
LODI RAIDER 209: “ well gentlemen, if it’s a fight you want, it’s a fight you get at Final Conflict, a tag match will happen Castagnoli, Danielson VS Corino, Rhino!!!!!!!”
As the wrestlers return to their respective locker room, leading to another Mox & Gargano stair-down!
JOHNNY GARGANO: “I tell you what since you’re wanting a fight, I have a partner in mind or I should say a psychopath…..You have a choice in partners in the BCC! Next week let’s have a tag team match, or we’ll just call it a preview of what’s to come!”
JON MOXELY: “Sooooo close to the PPV, thought you wanted to wait. I’m better than you at less than 100%, I guess we’ll find out how you’ll do because you’re going to bleed, get bruised, and might even suffer a broken bone or a torn muscle…..I’ll see you next week!”
Mox smiles at Gargano…… then delivers a headbutt lacerating Gargano’s left eye, Mox walks away, as Gargano is checking his eye and smiles!”

EXCALIBUR: “ PWB officials has decided that since the match between Austin Aires and Tammaso Ciampa was a no contest at Final Conflict there will be a wild entry and it’ll be a wrestling legend worthy of this match and if he wins the TV Champion itself!”

When it looked like it was going to be a BWC victory McGuinness hits his Rebound Lariat for a near fall on Generico then locked in the London Dungeon only for the luchador to escape! The match went out of the ring Steen handed Generico the World Belt as the masked man nails McGuinness opening up a laceration! The masked man set the bloody opponent on a table, retrieving a ladder from underneath the ring, ascends the ladder, and takes flight……..Generico misses as McGuinness moved………McGuinness rolls his opponent into the ring hits his Jawbreaker Lariat for another near fall, hits the Tower of London, and locks in a 2nd London dungeon as the mask man taps out!!!!!!!!! As Generico was being helped to the back Steen standing on top of the announcer’s table holding up his belt as McGuinness climbed up the turnbuckle pointing at Steen and motioning to his waist, that the championship will be his as you see the PWB logo to dark!

We see highlights of the past few weeks leading to tonight’s episode! Kevin Steen walks to the ring as he’s set for a World Title Eliminator Match with Chaz Taylor!
KEVIN STEEN: “I see proper respect is not given here in this hellhole called Texas! It is customary for the champion to enter last for his match, and the kid I guess his name is Chaz didn’t even show up for his opportunity!…………”
Flight of the Valkyries start to play….it’s Bryan Danielson!”
BRYAN DANIELSON: “ unfortunately the young kid, you hand selected has been attacked and the doctors states that he is not fit to compete. Since you don’t have a match or opponent, I’ll step in, and even put a wager on it; if you win, I will never challenge for that Battleground World Title. If I win, I get the shot at that belt anytime I want.”
STEVE CORINO: “ no no no no and no! The BWC’s champion will not do…………”
Bryan Danielson mockingly making chicken noises and flapping his arms, as Steen grabs microphone from Corino!
KEVIN STEEN: “ I’m not a chicken, let’s get it on!”

The 2 men exchanged punches to open the match, Danielson’s quickness gave him the early advantage. Steen managed to gain the upper hand for a minute until a mistimed turnbuckle climb allowing the Dragon to slam Steen hard to the mat! As the Dragon was looking to put away his opponent Steen managed to pull the referee into a Danielson kick! As the referee was out, Corino tried to interfere only for Regal to KO him using his brass knuckles, El Generico tried to enter by Castagnoli intercepted the masked man, but Rhyno from nowhere hits the Gore on the Dragon, and a new referee slides in the ring as Steen hits a sleeperhold suplex and scores the pin making Danielson not eligible to challenge for the Battleground World Championship ever!
WINNER KEVIN STEEN (16:47)
After the match Mox, Castagnoli, along with The Patriot entered the ring as a 8 man brawl erupted between the BWC & the Blackpool Combat Club/The Patriot! As the brawling hits the backstage area security manage to break them up as the promoter of PWB shows up!
LODI RAIDER 209: “ well gentlemen, if it’s a fight you want, it’s a fight you get at Final Conflict, a tag match will happen Castagnoli, Danielson VS Corino, Rhino!!!!!!!”
As the wrestlers return to their respective locker room, leading to another Mox & Gargano stair-down!
JOHNNY GARGANO: “I tell you what since you’re wanting a fight, I have a partner in mind or I should say a psychopath…..You have a choice in partners in the BCC! Next week let’s have a tag team match, or we’ll just call it a preview of what’s to come!”
JON MOXELY: “Sooooo close to the PPV, thought you wanted to wait. I’m better than you at less than 100%, I guess we’ll find out how you’ll do because you’re going to bleed, get bruised, and might even suffer a broken bone or a torn muscle…..I’ll see you next week!”
Mox smiles at Gargano…… then delivers a headbutt lacerating Gargano’s left eye, Mox walks away, as Gargano is checking his eye and smiles!”

EXCALIBUR: “ At Final Conflict we’ll have a 6 way Ladder War to determine the 1st Battleground TV Champion!”
MATT STRIKER: “Only five wrestlers, qualified, as one match, ended up a no contest!”
EXCALIBUR: “ PWB officials has decided that since the match between Austin Aires and Tammaso Ciampa was a no contest at Final Conflict there will be a wild entry and it’ll be a wrestling legend worthy of this match and if he wins the TV Champion itself!”
Kevin Steen crashes the announcer’s table to watch the finals of the World Title Eliminator Tournament.
KEVIN STEEN: “Enough about Ladder Wars, wild card entry’s, the Battleground TV Title; my belt the World Title belt is the end all, be all! And it is insulting that the World Title Match is not the main event at the PPV! This just proves that the PWB has it in for anybody that represents the BWC and especially myself!”
The final 2 wrestlers of the World Title Eliminator Tournament has entered the ring as we go to Bobby Cruise for the formal introductions!
BOBBY CRUISE: “ This match is the finals of the world title eliminator tournament, the winner advances to a title shot at Final Conflict 2022 and has no time-limit, there must be a winner! 1st representing The Biggest Wrestling Corporation from Stamford, CT, by way of Tijuana, Mexico by way of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, weighing in at 198lbs Elllllll Generico! His opponent. From London, England, weighing in at 220lbs…..Nigel McGuinness!”

Generico used his speed advantage and almost got an early victory after a body press from the turnbuckles. The masked man continued his assault nailing a Brain Buster for another close pin! When it looked like it was going to be a BWC victory McGuinness hits his Rebound Lariat for a near fall on Generico then locked in the London Dungeon only for the luchador to escape! The match went out of the ring Steen handed Generico the World Belt as the masked man nails McGuinness opening up a laceration! The masked man set the bloody opponent on a table, retrieving a ladder from underneath the ring, ascends the ladder, and takes flight……..Generico misses as McGuinness moved………McGuinness rolls his opponent into the ring hits his Jawbreaker Lariat for another near fall, hits the Tower of London, and locks in a 2nd London dungeon as the mask man taps out!!!!!!!!! WINNER NIGEL MCGUINNESS (57:03)
As Generico was being helped to the back Steen standing on top of the announcer’s table holding up his belt as McGuinness climbed up the turnbuckle pointing at Steen and motioning to his waist, that the championship will be his as you see the PWB logo to dark!
