His latest book, B ahamian Rhapsody: The Unofficial Story of Pro Wrestling's Unofficial Territory 1960-2020, is a fascinating look at wrestling in the Bahamas. Ian also writes for Men's Health and the Ringer among other outlets. You won't want to miss this in-depth conversation beginning at the 31-minute mark! Plus, we bring you all the news and notes from Fed HQ and let you in on what our Halloween holidays were like. Seeing Ian everywhere since this ep dropped, the Filsinger Games bump is REAL. Wild to think of these insulated money markets drawing crazy numbers in places like the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and South Africa or now India and apparently Saudi Arabia. Here is a link to the Deadlock Pro article. Internet dorks like to call them a fan fed, but fortune bless anyone trying to turn YouTube fame into eyeballs on their local scene

I really, really enjoyed this episode.
Long form interviewing is so great. I know it can be off putting seeing a length time of hours, but the conversational interview style you have Sam is just fantastic.

He has good connections, so if you want to try a wrestling book, give his a try. You never know. Maybe he sees a good response from our fan base, it could help in signings.

I haven't had a chance to listen to this yet, but I'm sold on the book and bought a copy. Foreign wrestling history is right in my wheelhouse, the more obscure the better. And outside of the Florida territory running there on occasion, the wrestling scene in the Bahamas seems almost completely untold.

Always great to get a discussion with someone outside of the game and hear them engage and then even go over their format time because they're really enjoying just talking their passion points.
