Getting a lot of great work done on Volume 2. Excited to share the new (and old) stuff with promoters! I have been working on this a little with Chad, Cory, and Pete Fusco. Those other three are really doing most of the work on this project and I think they are doing a great job putting things together for Volume 2. I have a new Indie match that got approved (it just needs to be fine tuned) and it will be part of Volume 2. Because I mostly play Indies, I will personally actually probably use Volume 2 more than Volume 1. |

Is this still on pace to be released with the Cycle 4 releases, Chad Olson ? Or, is Cory getting punched in the face? There's a lot riding on this, for Cory that is.  |

As much as I want to see Cory punched in the face, I do think do think we need to fully clarify the terms of the face punching. What if the book is through its initial edit by the team, but not laid out and printed yet before the end of the year. Does that qualify for face punching or not?
While I know Chad has said he intends to have things done for the end of the year, I dont believe Mike or Tom have said the Ringside Companion 2 is coming with the holiday releases. Right now I know the focus is on Legends Expansion XI, Early Classics and Women of the Indies and making sure that all gets printed and sent out ahead of the holidays. I'm sure if the booklet doesn't make it at that time it will get laid out and printed as soon as possible. I know we will need some things to announce at the Perennial.

If there isn't face punching I will feel cheated, but I get it, especially if it gets us the 50+ cards promised in Cycle 4 before New Year's, I'm on board. |

Can we make the wording on some of the deathmatch charts a little less specific when they go into the companion? I like the charts a lot and details are cool but how many death matches use a hypodermic needle these days?

I like the charts a lot and details are cool but how many death matches use a hypodermic needle these days? the syringe only comes into play on a roll of 2 (not even a roll of 2-3) and only on the Deathmatch Weapons chart, so I really think it is fine for that part of the chart. |
