Episode # 01

January 3rd, 2022 - Chicago, Illinois - United Center

The show opens with a big pyro display. We then go to ringside where we see Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler sitting at the commentary table. They say that tonight we are going to see qualifying matches for The Royal Rumble. They say that the winner of The Royal Rumble will be the first WWE World Heavyweight Champion! The show goes straight to the ring for our first bout!

Match # 01 - Austin Idol beat Ivan Koloff with a Las Vegas Leg Lock to qualify for the Royal Rumble.

*Notes* - Austin Idol and Koloff battled back and forth before Austin Idol eventually put Koloff away with the Las Vegas Leg Lock. After the match Austin Idol grabbed the microphone from the ring announcer and said that he will win The Royal Rumble and become the first World Wrestling Entertainment World champion! ***

We then go backstage where we see “The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart. He says that he is scouting the wrestlers of World Wrestling Entertainment. He says he is going to construct the best stable in the history of wrestling baby!

The shot then goes to Ken Shamrock who is standing beside Shelly Martinez who has a microphone. She asks him about his upcoming match against Nick Bockwinkel. He says he’s going to kill the punk. He says “I’M IN THE ZONE!” and he smacks his head with his fists, getting ready for his big match.

Match # 02 - Ken Shamrock made Nick Bockwinkel tap out to the Ankle Lock at 0:46.

Ken Shamrock immediately grabbed the microphone and said that what he just did to Nick Bockwinkel is just an example of what he has in store for the other twenty nine competitors in The Royal Rumble! He then tosses the microphone to the mat and then makes his way to the backstage area.

We then see The Sinister Minister in a dark alleyway. He is standing beside Al Snow and Mikey Whipwreck. He says he’s going to guide them to the WWE World Tag Team championship. The three of them start to laugh hysterically as the shot goes back to the arena for the next match.

Match # 03 - “Rowdy” Roddy Piper beat Jerry Lynn at 5:39 with a Sleeper to advance to the Royal Rumble! ****

Match Notes - This was a wild match that saw a lot of great action. Jerry Lynn nearly put Piper away but Piper eventually came back and applied a Sleeper for the win! The fans were cheering both men as the show went to a commercial break.

Match # 04 - Bob Backlund beat Bruiser Brody by disqualification at 4:18 to qualify for the Royal Rumble!

After the bell rang Bruiser Brody grabbed the chain that he brought to the ring and nailed Bob Backlund in the knee with it. Bob Backlund was in rough shape and needed to be helped to the backstage area.

We go backstage where we see Jerry Lynn with Shelly Martinez. She says that on Smackdown! This Friday we are going to see the start of the WWE Intercontinental championship tournament. She says that he is going to face Baron Von Raschke in a first round match. Jerry Lynn says that he is going to beat him and go on to become WWE Intercontinental champion because he’s The New F’n Show!

The shot then goes to Commissioner Bobby “The Brain” Heenan in his office. Soon Ox Baker comes in and says he wants to be in the Intercontinental championship tournament. Heenan says he will be in it and he will find out his opponent at the same time as everyone else - this Friday! Ox Baker then storms out of the office as the shot then goes to the ring for the last match of the show.

Match # 05 - Don Muraco beat Buddy Rogers at 3:07 with a Hawaiian Hammer to qualify for the Royal Rumble!

The show then goes off the air with Don Muraco celebrating his big victory!

Episode # 01

January 7th, 2022 -New York City, New York - Madison Square Garden

The show opens with a big pyro display. The shot then goes onto the ring where the ring announcer introduces Bob Backlund. Bob Backlund has his knee taped up as he makes his way slowly down the entrance ramp and down to ringside. He gets in the ring and takes the microphone. He then says that he has beef with Bruiser Brody and that he is issuing a challenge to him to face him again in a match. This brings out Bruiser Brody who accepts the challenge. Before the two can get to each other, security steps in and holds them apart.

We then go backstage to Bobby “The Brain” Heenan’s office. Ox Baker storms into his office and demands that Heenan tell him who his opponent is in the Intercontinental championship tournament. Heenan says his opponent is none other a good friend of his - Ted Dibiase! Ox Baker then slams the door and the shot then goes to the ring for the first match on the show!

Match # 01 - Ken Shamrock pinned Baron Von Raschke at 2:16 to advance to the next round in the WWE Intercontinental championship tournament.

After the bell rang Baron Von Raschke grabbed a steel chair and nailed Shamrock in the back with it as he was making his way from the ring up the ramp. Baron choked Shamrock with the edge of the chair before officials came down and stopped him.

We go backstage where we see “The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart talking to Bruiser Brody. Jimmy Hart asks if he wants to be managed by the greatest manager in the world. Bruiser grabs him by the shirt and slams him against the wall saying he doesn’t need a manager. Soon Bob Backlund comes up from behind Bruiser Brody and puts him in a Cross Face Chicken Wing! Officials come and eventually get Bob Backlund to break the hold but the damage is done. Bob Backlund then turns to the camera and says that he now has the best manager in Jimmy Hart and he’s going to guide his career here in World Wrestling Entertainment.

Match # 02 - Ox Baker beat Ted Dibiase at 1:11 with a Heart Punch to advance to the next round of the WWE Intercontinental championship tournament!

We then go backstage where we see Ken Shamrock enter Commissioner Bobby “The Brain” Heenan’s office. Shamrock smashes his fists on the desk and demands a match against Baron Von Raschke. Bobby Heenan says he will give him a match and that will be tomorrow night on Shotgun Saturday Night in the main event. It will be a No Holds Barred bout! Shamrock then leaves the room, slamming the door behind him.

Match # 03 - Al Snow (W/ Sinister Minister) beat D Lo Brown at 0:43 with a Snow Plow to advance to the next round in the WWE Intercontinental championship tournament!

After the match Al Snow held D Lo Brown by the arms and Sinister Minister threw a fireball in his face. D Lo Brown fell to the mat grabbing at his face in pain. Sinister Minister and Al Snow cackled like mad men and the show went to a commercial break.

Back from the commercial break we see D Lo Brown being helped to the backstage area. The shot then went to the commentators - Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler. They say that Sinister Minister should be fined and suspended for his actions. They say they will have an update on D Lo Brown next week on Smackdown! The shot then goes to the ring for the next match on the show.

Match # 04 - “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn beat Val Venis by pinfall at 0:38 to advance to the next round in the WWE Intercontinental championship tournament.

Once the bell sounded Billy Gunn grabbed Val Venis and tossed him to the outside. He then gave him three hot shots on the guard rail. Val Venis needed to be helped to the backstage area! The shot then went to a commercial break. Back from the break we go to the ring for the main event of the evening.

Match # 05 - Bruiser Brody pinned Bob Backlund at 3:35!

After the match Bruiser Brody grabbed his steel chain and chased both Jimmy Hart and Bob Backlund to the backstage area. He then walked back to the ring and celebrated his victory.

The shot then went to the commentators who say that tomorrow we will see Ken Shamrock take on Baron Von Raschke and a lot more on the first edition of Shotgun Saturday Night!

The show then went off the air.

Shotgun Saturday Night
Episode # 01
January 8th, 2022 - Mirage Night Club - New York City

*WARNING! THINGS ARE ABOUT TO GET CRAZY!*

The show opens in the Mirage Night Club. We have the ring in the center of the room with fans surrounding the ring. There are no guard rails and it is a packed house for the debut episode of Shotgun Saturday Night. The shot then goes to the ring announcer who introduces the first match of the evening.

Match # 01 - Juventud Guerrera beat Super Crazy at 3:46 with a Juvi Driver!

The shot then goes backstage where we see Bobby Heenan sitting on a black leather couch. On either side of him are two women in bikinis. He puts his legs up on the coffee table and then starts to talk. He says that he loves Shotgun Saturday Night because anything can happen and things will get crazy. He says that in tonight’s main event we are going to see Ken Shamrock taking on Baron Von Raschke!

The shot then goes to the ring. Before the ring announcer can announce the next bout “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn’s music hits. He comes out wearing an unzipped black leather jacket. He grabs the microphone and starts to talk. He says that last night on Smackdown!, he sent Val Venis packing after giving him three hot shots on the guard rail. He says you’ll never see Val Venis here again.

Suddenly we see The Big Valbowski come through the crowd and enter the ring. He grabs Billy Gunn and gives him a DDT and then stands over him. He then takes the microphone and says that what he just did to Billy Gunn is just the start. He says he will get him again and get REVENGE!

He then exits the ring as the show goes to a commercial break.

Match # 02 - Justin Credible beat Mikey Whipwreck at 2:23 with a Singapore Cane Shot!

“The Queen of Extreme” Francine was in Justin Credible’s corner. She handed Justin the cane allowing him to hit Whipwreck with it for the pin and the win.

After Mikey Whipwreck rolled out of the ring to go to the backstage area, He grabbed the microphone and ran down the city of New York and said that he got word that there is going to be a championship that will be exclusive for Shotgun Saturday Night called the Extreme championship. He says that next week there is going to be a Gauntlet for the championship next week and he is in it. He says that you’re looking at the first WWE Extreme champion!

He then exited the ring as the show then went to a commercial break.

Back from the commercials we go to “The Franchise” Shane Douglas standing in the center of the ring with a microphone in hand. He says tonight he is facing a tough competitor in Steve Corino. He says Steve Corino is really tough. He says he’s tough but as tough as he is - Shane Douglas is that much more tougher and better. He says Steve Corino has a lot of talent and will go far here in World Wrestling Entertainment but he won’t get past him! He then tosses down the microphone and the match starts!

Match # 03 - “The Franchise” Shane Douglas beat “The King of Old School” Steve Corino at 1:04 with a Belly to Belly Suplex! <Snake Eyes>

The bell sounded but Douglas was not finished with Corino. With Corino down on the mat, Shane Douglas exited the ring and grabbed a steel chair and brought it in the ring. He waited for the hurt Corino to get to his feet and then waffled him in the skull with the steel chair. Steve Corino was busted wide open. Shane Douglas grabbed the microphone and said that next week he is walking out Shotgun Saturday Night the very first WWE Extreme champion! He then exited the ring and the show went to its final commercial break.

Match # 04 - Ken Shamrock beat Baron Von Raschke with an Ankle Lock at 0:57.

Ken Shamrock held onto the Ankle Lock as Baron shouted out in pain. Officials came down and had a real tough time getting Shamrock to release the hold. Finally he let go and went to exit the ring. This allowed Baron to come up from behind him and apply The Brain Claw to Ken Shamrock. Officials got him to break the devastating hold but the damage was done. Baron then raised his arms in victory as the fans in attendance booed and threw garbage into the ring. The show then went off the air!

Sunday Night Heat
Episode # 01
Taped - January 7th - Air Date - January 9th
New York City - New York - Madison Square Garden

The show opens with Bobby “The Brain” Heenan in the ring. He says that tonight we are going to see a four man tournament where we will see the crowning of the WWE European champion. He says the European championship will be exclusive to Sunday Night Heat and will only be defended on Heat and Pay Per Views! He then tells the ring announcer to announce the first match and get the show started!

Match # 01 - Road Dogg beat “Leaping” Lanny Poffo with a Pump Handle Slam at 0:42!

After the match we go backstage where we see Justin Credible with his valet “The Queen of Extreme” Francine. Francine has his Singapore cane in hand. Justin Credible says that he should have been considered for the European championship tournament here tonight. He says that whoever wins the strap should give him a championship match! He says he will be watching closely to see who wins. He says whoever wins better watch their backs because he is coming for them.

The shot then goes to Road Dogg who is with his tag team partner “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn. Road Dogg tells Gunn that he will be champion come the end of the night. Billy Gunn says he has no doubt that he will be champion and will watch his back. Suddenly Val Venis nails Billy Gunn in the back with a steel chair. The New Age Outlaws then go after Val Venis as the show cuts to a commercial break.

Match # 02 - Jerry Lynn beat David Taylor at 1:22 with a Cradle Pile Driver!

We then go to Bobby “The Brain” Heenan in his office. He is sitting down on his chair with his feet up on his desk. He sees that the camera is on him and takes his feet off. He says that if Justin Credible wants a championship match he will have to face Steve Corino next week. The winner of that bout will get a shot at the European champion - whoever that may be. He then says that it is time to find out who will walk out champion tonight. The show then goes to the ring for the main event.

Match # 03 - Jerry Lynn beat Road Dogg at 1:20 to become the first WWE European champion!

The fans go crazy as Jerry Lynn is awarded the WWE European championship. He puts the championship around his waist and then poses for pictures. He then grabs the microphone and says that whoever wins between Justin Credible and Steve Corino next week better realize what they are getting themselves into. He then walks up the entrance ramp as the show then goes to Steve Corino.

Steve Corino is seen walking out of the building. He turns to the camera and says he will be the next European champion and there is nothing anyone can do about it! The show then goes off the air.
