Episode # 02
January 10th, 2022 - Miami, Florida - FTX Arena

The show comes on the air with a shot of the rabid crowd. They are holding up signs and waving at the camera trying to get seen on television. Some of the signs say “I’m here for the Bad Ass!”, “Randy Savage will be Champ!” and “Kurt Angle Rules - It’s True! It’s Damn True!” The shot then goes to ringside where we see our commentators for the evening - Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler. They run down the show and remind us that tonight all matches will be qualifying matches for The Royal Rumble! They then go to the ring for the first match of the show!

Match # 01 - Antonio Inoki beat Mad Dog Vachon at 1:15 with an Enzugiri to qualify for The Royal Rumble!

We then go backstage where we see “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn walking the back hall of the arena wearing a black leather jacket that is unzipped. After walking for a few moments he runs into “The Queen of Extreme” Francine. She stops him and she tells him that she is looking for some talent to win some gold. She says Billy Gunn is a great wrestler and is the future of the company. Gunn thanks her. He says that he is looking for someone to guide his career. She asks him if he wants her to be in his corner tonight and he says sure thing. The two then walk off arm in arm.

Match # 02 - Butcher Vachon surprised Kurt Angle with a Hangman at 3:35 to qualify for The Royal Rumble.

After the match we go immediately backstage where we see Kurt Angle walk past the curtain. He is mad that he didn’t win his match tonight. He says he wants to face Butcher Vachon again. He doesn’t care where and he doesn’t care when. He wants him in the ring and will show the wrestling world that him beating him was a fluke. He then pushes the cameraman to the side and walks down the hallway of the arena steaming.

Match # 03 - Hugh Morrus beat “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn with No Laughing Matter at 5:17 to qualify for The Royal Rumble!

After the commercial break we see Billy Gunn with Francine in his locker room. A moment later Road Dogg walks in. He says hello to Francine and then starts to speak. He says Billy Gunn may have lost tonight but he is going to be Randy Savage and go on to enter and win the Rumble. A moment later Val Venis charges into the locker room and the New Age Outlaws and Venis begin to fight in the locker room. A few moments later officials come in to break up the fight but the damage is done to both sides. Val Venis gets pulled out of the locker room as the show goes to a commercial break.

Match # 04 - “Macho Man” Randy Savage beat Road Dogg at 1:13 with a Flying Elbow Smash to qualify for The Royal Rumble.

We go backstage where we see Sgt. Slaughter. He is standing in front of a RAW is WAR backdrop. He has a microphone in hand and begins to speak. He says that in a few moments we are going to see him face Stan Hansen. He says Hansen better be ready because he is going to go through him and then go on to The Royal Rumble and become World champion.

The shot then goes on Val Venis who is walking the back hall of the arena. He sees that the camera is on him and begins to speak. He says that he wants “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn in a match at The Royal Rumble. A grudge match - No disqualification and No Count Outs. He says he needs to teach Gunn a lesson. He says he wants a response by the end of Shotgun Saturday Night this Saturday.

We then go to Stan Hansen. He says Slaughter better prepare for a beating of a lifetime. He says that he will be World champion and there is nobody who can stop him. He says that belt will look great over his shoulder and he will bring World Wrestling Entertainment to new heights. He says that he is ready for the match and the time for talking is done.

Match # 05 - Stan Hansen beat Sgt. Slaughter at 5:18 with a Lariat to qualify for The Royal Rumble!

Stan Hansen then celebrates his victory by raising his arm in the air. He exits the ring and walks up the entrance ramp as the show then goes off the air!

Smackdown!
Episode # 02
January 14th, 2022 - Ottawa, Ontario - Canadian Tire Center

The show opens in the underground parking lot of the Canadian Tire Center. We see a white stretch limousine pull up. Out steps the driver and he walks to the end of the car and opens the back door. Out steps “The Queen of Extreme” Francine wearing a purple dress and then “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn steps out wearing a black leather jacket with a pair of blue jeans. They make their way towards the back door of the arena.

The shot then goes to ringside where we see our commentators for the evening - Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler. They are sitting at the commentary table. Jim Ross tells us that we are going to see the crowning of the first WWE Tag Team champions and the first WWE Intercontinental champion. He says that it is going to be a loaded show.

The shot then goes back to Billy Gunn and Francine walking the back hall of the arena. Billy Gunn says that he is going to be Intercontinental champion by the end of the night. He also says that he is going to face Val Venis in a No Holds Barred match at The Royal Rumble and run him out of the company. The two walk the back hallway of the arena as the shot then goes to The Fabulous Ones who are standing in front of a Smackdown! backdrop.

They are standing beside backstage interviewer Renee Young. She asks them what their thoughts are going into their match against The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express. Stan Lane says that The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express are a great team but when they step into the ring with them tonight they are going to see that they are the better team. He says that The Road Warriors and The Sheepherders better be ready because those tag team straps are coming home with them.

We then go to our commentators - Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler. They say that D Lo Brown is seriously injured from the actions of The Sinister Minister and Al Snow last week. They do not know when he will be making his return to World Wrestling Entertainment. They say that his face was severely burned by Sinister Minister. Al Snow and Sinister Minister have not been fined or suspended and it is not known if actions will be taken against them.

We then go to the ring for our first match of the night.

Match # 01 - The Fabulous Ones beat Rock ‘n’ Roll Express at 7:54 when Steve Keirn pinned Ricky Morton.

The shot then goes backstage where we see Ken Shamrock standing beside Renee Young. Renee Young asks him how he’s feeling going into his big match against Ox Baker. He says he’s never been more ready and he’s never been more determined to win and become WWE Intercontinental champion. He says that Billy Gunn or Al Snow better be ready because when they step into the ring with them later tonight in the main event and the finals of the tournament they will tap out. He then smacks himself in the head to pump himself up and walks off camera.

Match # 02 - Ken Shamrock made Ox Baker submit with an Ankle Lock at 1:42.

We then go back to Renee Young who are standing with Hawk and Animal - The Road Warriors. She asks them how they feel about going in the ring with the Sheepherders in just a few moments. Hawk says that they are ready to beat them. Animal says The Fabulous Ones better prepare themselves because they will face them later on for the WWE World Tag Team championship. Hawk says “OHH WHAT A RUSH!” and the two then walk off camera as the show goes to a commercial break before the next big bout of the show.

Match # 03 - Road Warriors beat Sheepherders at 1:36 when they hit a Doomsday Device on Butch Miller.

We then go to “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn who is standing with his valet “The Queen of Extreme” Francine. Renee Young is there as well with a microphone in hand. Young asks Billy Gunn his thoughts on his upcoming bout with Al Snow. Francine jumps in and says that with her by his side he will be the Intercontinental champion by the end of the night. Billy Gunn says he’s as ready as he’s ever been. The two then walk off camera as the show goes to the next bout of the night.

Match # 04 - Billy Gunn beat Al Snow at 1:20 when Sinister Minister’s fireball backfired! Sinister Minister is unable to manage for the next three cards!

The shot goes to The Fabulous Ones. They say they are ready for The Road Warriors and they are ready to win the WWE World Tag Team championship. They say they aren’t afraid of The Road Warriors despite saying that they will be a tough team to beat. The show then goes to a commercial break.  

Match # 05 - The The Road Warriors beat The Fabulous Ones at 3:30 when they a Doomsday Device on Stan Lane to become WWE World Tag Team champions!

The show then goes to a commercial break.

Match # 06 - “Bad Ass” Billy Gunn beat Ken Shamrock at 1:50 a Standing Leg Drop to become the WWE Intercontinental champion!

After the match as Billy Gunn is celebrating his big win, Val Venis runs down to the ring and waffles Gunn with a steel chair. He then takes the championship belt and holds it over the fallen champion, raising the belt in the air. Francine jumps in the ring and Venis knocks her down. He then raises the championship belt in the air again as the show ends.

Shotgun Saturday Night
Episode # 02
January 15th, 2022 - Mirage Night Club - New York City

The show comes on the air with an overhead shot of the ring in the Club. The crowd is standing right up against the ring and it is a packed house for the second episode of Shotgun Saturday Night. We go to our commentators - Renee Young and Michael Cole. They say that tonight we are going to see the crowning of the first WWE Extreme champion.

We then hear some familiar music. The shot goes to somewhere in the packed Club and we see “The Franchise” Shane Douglas walk out with a steel chair in hand. He pushes through the crowd and climbs up on the apron and gets into the ring. He grabs the microphone from the ring announcer and stands in the middle of the ring.

He says that he’s going to qualify for The Royal Rumble. He says he’s going to be crowned the first champion and there is nothing anyone in World Wrestling Entertainment can do about it. He says he has this steel chair with him as his insurance policy. He says that anyone who gets in his way of him getting what he wants will feel this steel chair against his skull.

He says that he is in tonight’s Gauntlet to crown an Extreme champion. He says there are some tough competitors in this bout including “The Whole F’n Show” Rob Van Dam. The fans cheer when Shane Douglas says the name Rob Van Dam. Soon the shot goes onto Rob Van Dam who pushes through the crowd and climbs into the ring. He takes the microphone away from Shane Douglas and starts to talk.

Rob Van Dam says that Shane Douglas better be ready because tonight he is going to walk out champion. Shane Douglas swings the chair at Van Dam. Rob Van Dam ducks and then kicks Shane Douglas and makes him drop the chair on the ring canvas. He then grabs Shane Douglas and tosses him out of the ring. He gets the microphone again and says you’re looking at best wrestler here on Shotgun Saturday Night! He then tosses the microphone down and poses to the crowd.

The shot then goes onto our commentators - Renee Young and Michael Cole. Young says that things are heating up here on Shotgun Saturday Night. She says that tonight we will see the crowning another championship. Michael Cole pipes in saying that tonight we will crown the first WWE Cruiserweight champion. He says there will be two matches and the winners of those bouts will wrestle for the Cruiserweight championship! He then says our first match in the Cruiserweight championship tournament starts right now.

Match # 01 - Super Crazy beat Eli Everfly with a Moonsault at 7:24 to advance to the finals of the WWE Cruiserweight championship tournament. <Snake Eyes>

After the match Super Crazy went to shake Eli Everfly’s hand. Eli spits green mist in his eyes and then exits the ring to a chorus of boos. He flips off the crowd and makes his way through the huge crowd of people in the Club.

Before the ring announcer can announce the next match we hear some familiar music. The crowd boos as we see the WWE Intercontinental champion Billy Gunn come out with his championship belt around his waist. Following behind him is “The Queen of Extreme” Francine wearing a revealing blue dress. Billy Gunn jumps on the apron and gets in the ring. He then pulls up Francine and helps her into the squared circle. He grabs the microphone away from the ring announcer and then begins to speak.

He says that he going to be WWE Intercontinental champion for a long time. He says every male wrestler on the roster is jealous of him and they want to take his championship. He says that they are going to have to pry it away from him in his cold dead hands because there is no way that he is going to lose the strap.

He then talks about Val Venis. He says that he has been a pain in his side for a while now and that at The Royal Rumble he will have his chance at taking his strap. He says he can try all he wants and he can bring his “A” game but when it is all said and done and the smoke has cleared he will still be the reigning WWE Intercontinental champion.

Suddenly we see Val Venis charge the ring. The two trade punches as Francine scurries out of the ring. The two fight in the sea of people as security tries to keep the fans away from them. They then exit the front door of the Club and fight on the street. Val Venis whips the champion into a bus shelter, shattering the glass. We then see officials come in and break up the brawl as the show then goes to a commercial break.

Match # 02 - Ninja Mack beat Jack Cartwheel at 2:48 with a Ninja Bomb.

After the commercial break we go to The Sinister Minister. He is standing with Super Crazy. He says that in just a few moments he is going to bring the WWE Cruiserweight championship home. He says Ninja Mack better be set because the belt is his!

Match # 03 - Ninja Mack beat Super Crazy at 5:31 to become WWE Cruiserweight champion when Ninja Mack hit a Ninja Bomb!

We go to a shot of Renee Young standing with “The King of Old School” Steve Corino. She asks him if he’s ready for his big match coming up next and what his thoughts are going into the match. Steve Corino says that he is more than ready and he is pumped to show the wrestling world that he is the best wrestler on Shotgun and in all of World Wrestling Entertainment! He then says he must go prepare for his match. Renee Young throws it to the ring for the main event of the evening!

Match # 04 - Mikey Whipwreck -versus- Steve Corino -versus- Shane Douglas -versus- Rob Van Dam -versus- Justin Credible -versus- The Sandman

Fall 1 - Mikey Whipwreck beat Justin Credible at 5:06 with a Whipper Snapper.
Fall 2 - Steve Corino pinned Mikey Whipwreck at 8:34.
Fall 3 - The Sandman pinned Steve Corino at 1:17.
Fall 4 - The Sandman beat Rob Van Dam at 3:55 with a Singapore Cane Shot.
Fall 5 - Shane Douglas beat The Sandman with a Pittsburg Plunge at 3:32 to capture the WWE Extreme championship!

“The Franchise” Shane Douglas raised his championship belt in the air as the commentators thanked us for tuning in and reminding us that Sunday Night Heat will air tomorrow night!
