Hey brothers Crossbones , cruefan68 , Pariah and TTX , (not to mention The Sisterhood!).
I am sorry I haven't been around much. I've been pretty busy with the family, but it's a good busy. I just have less time and energy lately, but things are coming along healthwise.
I am aiming for Tuesday night postings, so here is also our second cards results, along with other mutterings and a preview of card # 3. (With potentially one hell of an upcoming main event)
I really appreciate the comments!
A thousand thank you's!
The Galaxian Federation
2034 - Week 2
Total Eclipse Arena
Dark Side of Earth's Moon
Tonight's Matches:
-----------------------------------------------
Disaster vs. The Great Gama
Moog & Sentinel (with Vizir The Elder) vs. Kevin Steen & El Generico (with The Mountie)
Thantos vs. A.J. Styles
Thrash vs. Jessicka Havok
Tantalis & Parsec vs. Al Costello & Roy Heffernan (with Wild Red Berry)
The Amazing Mann (with Vin Strutter) vs. Nick Bockwinkel (with Bobby Heenan)
Alpha Female vs. Trish Stratus
Solar Flair vs. Mike Quackenbush
Match Results:
--------------------------------------
▪ After losing the opening collar & elbow and having his knees and legs worked over, Mike Quackenbush (0) rebounded and turned on the "Lightning" - by pinning a stubborn Solar Flair (6) via back to back to back executions of his QUACKENDRIVER III (A spinning modified fisherman driver).
▪ Alpha Female (6) and Trish Stratus (1) clashed in a high caliber bout, highlighted half way through with Female kicking out from Stratus's STRATUSFACTION demonstratively - Stratus later countered with a perfectly timed out of nowhere Chick Kick (A roundhouse kick to the head) to score the pinfall.
▪ In a true championship level effort both offensively and defensively, as well as they're management - The Amazing Mann (3) eventually ground this one down to a near time limit finish by forcing a determined Nick Bockwinkel (6) to submit to his Crucifix Armbar.
▪ Al Costello (1) and Roy Heffernan (2) did a masterful job of isolating Parsec (4) inside the ring for most of the bout and nearly pulled off a suprise reverse cover - Parsec won over the crowd by solidly taking on a three on one situation. After the near upset by The Estorians and Tantalis (1) entering the match, The Roos' regrouped and unleashed their BOOMERANG (A slingshot into a back drop combo) on Tantalis for the pinfall.
▪ Jessicka Havok (2) came out strong right out of the gate and dominated Thrash (1), until Thrash took the match outside the ring - after withstanding having her face put through a ringside table and chokeslammed on the outside, Havok then came back from behind to pin Thrash after her HAVOKILLER (A sit out powerbomb).
▪ AJ Styles (7) was never out of this, inside the ring and outside the ring nailbiter of a match - with neither wrestler being able to connect with their finishers, Thantos (3) tried to rely upon his Shoulder Breaker to seal the deal but it was interrupted by the referee and the timekeepers bel, declaring this match a Time Limit Draw.
▪ El Generico (0) wrestled like a totally possessed man, taking Sentinel (9) to the limits of his endurance - frustrated by Sentinels refusals, Generico went medieval during a brawl outside the ring. With a relentless three on three rumble, (involving the managers as well), the referee awarded the match to Castilex, as relief refs and security stormed the ring attempting to regain order.
▪ The Great Gama (7) and Disaster (2) put on quite a powerful show of raw power, brutality and endurance, with the highlights of Disaster nearly being counted out after a GAMA THROW (a double arm belly to belly throw) put him through the announcers tables & Gama kicking out from a RAMPAGE (a face first chokeslam) - but after back to back Gladiator Piledrivers, Disaster scored the pinfall after his Atomic Spike, (a top rope flying elbow drop), with not much time left on the clock & the Aethran faithful emitting thunderous chants of war.
