No COTG Christmas release?

For the 1st time EVER, there is no COTG Christmas release of any kind. This makes me sad and people wonder why SOME of us believe there's an LOW bias. It also continues to make me wonder how involved Tom still is with the game, his instagram use to say owner - but now just says creator and designer of FG. I feel like I'm beating my head against a wall, because when I voice my opinion on anything I just ostracize myself more and more. You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain, so maybe it's time for me to go like others already have.

I really don't think it's the first time EVER, just the first in a really long time. Game used to come out once a year in the summer. I'd really prefer one well thought out release per year rather than something pushed out just to get something out. A cool special edition card or four pack would be nice, though.

While no Xmas release this year I will be releasing the Season Beatings 3 Xmas special sometime next month. It will come out after a rerelease of Season Beatings and Season Beatings 2. Both digitally remastered to be better than ever. So, keep an eye out for that Xmas tradition that no one cares about.

That's a bummer, I was holding out hope for a Future Shock set to close out the year.

I definitely remember some noise on that subject towards the end of the black and white LOW sets. Definitely some hand-wringing over getting a 6-card set when one of those was Lord Zoltan.

I've literally been playing Champions since I was in grade school (sixth grade to be exact), so there's no bias on my end with one over the other. As I recall it was the same during the black and white legends days. There was one release a year or something for a while and there was a long gap with nothing at all after the final black and white set was released. 

Also, you can just sign names and make cards when it's real life people. Research is arduous but it's all already out there. Creating characters and writing stories is HARD! It's very much an "apples and oranges" comparison. 

But, as in my first post, I wouldn't hate a special edition card or two with some new art.

You and I are not friends and never will be (I will not forget the GWFZ parody card you made of me that mocked my personal life). But dude, chill out. You are making a mountain out a molehill here. FG is not perfect (no game company) is, but you are just seeking out reasons to be miserable. You certainly have enough cards to keep you busy.
