We speak to Drew about his interest in the game from the beginning until now, what got him into wrestling, and the poignant tribute to his cousin - FTR's Splash, as well as his thoughts on his other FTR creation, Workrate. Plus, we've got the latest from Fed HQ, more notes on Todd's experience at Full Gear, and we chat a bit about Survivor Series WarGames! All this, and more!

I've still got about 30 minutes left, but I can already tell that Drew has a ton of passion for this game... It's great fun hearing him talk about his approach to the game and history of his fed... These Promoter Spotlights are an absolute blast! Always enjoy knowing more about those that share this hobby!

I had a great time talking with Sam and Todd. I could’ve did a better job explaining Endgame’s heel turn so here’s a show by show breakdown of Endgame’s heel turn in my fed.


@ Dreams & Nightmares 2128 PPV The GWF Heavyweight Champion Endgame © def. Bex aFTR Endgame puts his feet on the ropes to roll up Bex! Everyone is in shock, but no one more than Bex! He protests but it falls on deaf ears. Endgame holds the title over his head triumphantly as he walks up the aisle. I got hit with the dreaded snake eyes in the main event. So I got creative. Endgame’s streak is at 17.


The next week on GWF Glory 398 Endgame and Harbinger come to the ring together. No Monolith or Overmaster. Endgame tells Harbinger to relax. Some say he’s changing. “Maybe they’re right but the galaxy is changing. Yes I’ve done things I normally don’t do. But that’s why it's working! I need to protect this fed! This is my legacy! Aethran Overmaster! Our deal is good and after I beat you at Glory 400… Fall in line! As for Monolith. Your turn is coming but I hope you’re still a man of your word until then! Don’t forget over the past year I’ve beaten you both! When you knock me off my throne then you can lead!”

@ GWF Glory 400 Endgame © (6) def. Aethran Overmaster (4) w.The Leveler via the ULTIMA LEAP in a 6 star classic. Now it’s 18 in a row for Endgame. His 10th successful title defense leaves him 1 behind Star Warrior and Pegasus.


End of Days wins the Omega Memorial Tournament (there’s the name) putting him on a collision course with Endgame.


@ GWF Glory 404 End of Days beats Paralyze in a match but pays for it after when End of Days is attacked by the Aethran Overmaster, Rush and Turmoil! With help from the Gladiators the Aethran Overmaster sent EOD to the floor with the REIGN OF THE OVERMASTER (My version is a running power bomb that sends the opp over the top rope to the floor)! Black Death arrives and the Gladiators retreat. They are met atop the ramp by none other than GWF Champion Endgame who smiles back at Black Death.


@ GWF Glory 405 Endgame has the attention of the GWF. He says he would’ve been there in person but there’s too much at stake to expose himself to an ambush. The fans must understand and wait. When asked about the challenge posed by End of Day’s the GWF champ said End of Days is the best fighter to come into the GWF since himself but he failed to beat Endgame just like everyone else!


GWF Glory 406 End of Days says last week’s attack was plotted by Endgame because the champ knows his streak is coming to an end! Endgame responds via Jumbotron saying he never needed help on his way to becoming the greatest of all time! In fact he shows the fans both of the finishes in their meetings earlier in the year! “I’m going to defeat Black Death all by myself!”


GWF Glory 407 The straw that broke the camel’s back is the Aethran Overmaster and Monolith getting into an argument that ends with REIGN OFF THE OVERMASTER through a table.


Halloween Havoc Endgame is furious the team isn’t getting along. Later that night Endgame © (4) def. End of Days (3) w.Abroz following the ULTIMA LEAP! The streak continues as Endgame kicked out of UNLIMITED POWER and the Trajectory of Doom to win his 19th match in a row! Endgame ties the longest Heavyweight title reign alongside two GWF Hall of Fame members, Star Warrior and Pegasus. End of Days 6 match win streak ends at 6. 4*


GWF Glory 408 following a match between End of Days and the Aethran Overmaster. Monolith tries to storm the ring but security holds him back despite the desires of the Overmaster! Endgame teleports in from behind and levels the Leveler with the GWF title! The crowd is going nuts when Endgame drills the Overmaster with the title next! Endgame locks eyes with Monolith as the show goes off the air. Are these two still allies?


We don’t see Endgame again until Glory 411. The last Glory of the year begins with the longest reigning GWF champion in history (along with Star Warrior and Pegasus). Endgame comes to the ring to a mixed reception. Endgame says he proves he’s not only the best but he may be the best of all time! “ I’m fighting this war single handedly! When’s the last time the Aethran Overmaster won this title? Monolith? Has Havoc ever won the title? If any of them were as great as they think they are they would be as accomplished as me! But they are not! The year will end like it began! With me as your champion!”


The finally at Sudden Death 2128 Endgame © def. Havoc with the ULTIMA LEAP. Endgame has done it. He’s the greatest champion in the history of the GWF with 12 title defenses in a row. He’s one win away from the Matador’s win streak of 21.


Bex, Sur and End of Days teleport into the ring and face off with Endgame! Endgame stares back as Havoc joins his teammates when Team GWF comes to his rescue. Missing is Monolith but Team GWF battles with the 3! Shayne and Harbinger are too busy fighting to notice that Endgame isn’t fighting. Endgame hammers Harbinger in the back of the head with the GWF title! Endgame winds up and busts Shayne open! Havoc stands shocked as Bex and Sur raise Endgame’s arms! Endgame looks at Havoc and tells him to fall in line.
