- I stole this off of Wrestling Open on IWTV. Each week wrestlers sign up beforehand and don’t know their opponents before the match. Anyone can show up at Legends Wrestling Open. All matches have a ten minute time limit except for the main event which has a twenty minute time limit! Here is episode # 1!
Legends Wrestling Open Episode # 1
December 8th, 2022 - Knights of Columbus - Toronto, Ontario
Match 1
Sherri Martel -versus- Susan Green
Notes - This was a close match that saw near falls by both women. Susan Green nearly put Sherri Martel away but Sherri Martel finally pinned her at 5:20. Good bout.
Winner - Sherri Martel
Match 2
Koko B. Ware -versus- Barry Windham
Notes - This was a quick and fun back and forth match which saw Barry Windham getting the win over Ware in 1:37. After the bell sounded and the match was over Mike Rotunda and Barry Windham beat up Koko B. Ware before Ranger Ross came down to make the save. The ring announcer announced that at Legends Wrestling Open next week we will see a grudge match between the four. Koko B. Ware needed to be helped to the backstage area.

Road Dogg —versus- Bobo Brazil
Notes - In a match that was over before it really started Bobo Brazil defeated Road Dogg with a Coco Butt at 0:42. After the match Bobo Brazil hit some more vicious Coco Butts on Road Dogg before Billy Gunn came down to make the save. Billy Gunn grabbed the microphone and demanded a match against Bobo Brazil next show. Bobo said that he is going to do the same thing that happened to Road Dogg will happen to him!

Match 4
Doug Gilbert -versus- Mike Rotunda
Notes - In another short bout Doug Gilbert beat Mike Rotunda with a Piledriver. Early on Doug hit a Piledriver on Rotunda but he was able to kick out. At 1:48 Doug Gilbert hit a Piledriver for the win over Mike Rotunda. The fans were really surprised to see Doug Gilbert get the win. The fans were really behind Doug Gilbert.

Mad Dog Vachon -versus- Brutus Beefcake
Notes - Brutus Beefcake defeated Mad Dog Vachon when Vachon nailed him in the head with a steel chair outside the ring and was disqualified. After the bell Mad Dog Vachon kept hitting Beefcake with the chair and Beefcake needed to be helped to the backstage area. This brought the show to an intermission. It was announced at intermission that Mad Dog Vachon and Brutus Beefcake battle in a No Holds Barred match next card.
Winner - Brutus Beefcake by Disqualification!
Match 6
Don Muraco -versus- Tully Blanchard
Notes - Don Muraco put Tully Blanchard away quickly with a Hawaiian Hammer. Don Muraco looked good here with a quick and big win over Tully Blanchard. The fans were really behind Don Muraco despite him being a rule breaker. The match lasted 0:32.
Winner - Don Muraco

Butcher Vachon -versus- Jerry Lynn
Notes - Jerry Lynn and Butcher Vachon put on a very fast paced bout that saw Lynn with a Cradle Piledriver at 1:49. Jerry Lynn looked great in this bout and saw Lynn hit some big moves on Vachon. Lynn eventually hit the Cradle Piledriver for the win.
Winner - Jerry Lynn

Bob Orton Jr. -versus- Stan Hansen
Notes - In what was the best match of the night Stan Hansen defeated Bob Orton Jr with a Lariat. This was a brutal and hard hitting bout. Bob Orton Jr was on offense for the most of the match. Stan Hansen hit the Lariat out of nowhere and defeated Bob Orton Jr. The fans didn’t know who to cheer for but seemed satisfied with the great wrestling action they saw on the first episode of Legends Wrestling Open. Stan Hansen was able to put away Orton Jr at 3:23! Great bout!
