Championship Wrestling from Kansas City 8 Larry Matsyik and Joe Garagiola open the show and plug the main event of Ted DiBiase vs. Nick Bockwinkel for the Central States Heavyweight title. Larry throws it to ring announcer Mickey Garagiola for the introductions.
1. George Tragos vs. Ric McCord McCord is fired up at the opening bell and has Tragos in trouble. McCord can’t follow up and Tragos locks him in the double wristlock. Tragos clamps on his signature hold, the armlock and scissors, but McCord is too close to the ropes. Tragos locks on the hold a second time and McCord taps out.
Winner - George Tragos by submission Gordon Solie catches up with Tragos after the match. Tragos says he’s had a rocky road so far but is going for the gold as soon as the championship committee thinks he’s ready. The show goes to commercial and Gordon is in the ring with the Grappler when it returns.
The Grapper says he’ll beat Larry Hennig and whomever else CWFKC puts in the ring with him. The Grappler goes to his corner and Mickey Garagiola introduces his opponent, Larry Hennig.
2. Larry Hennig vs. The Grappler Hennig mauls The Grappler and tosses him out of the ring. The Grappler comes out on top of the exchange on the outside. The Grappler wears Hennig down with the Grappler Twist. The Grappler nails Hennig with the loaded boot for the win.
Winner - The Grappler by pinfall
3. Magnum TA vs. Yusuf Ishmail Ishmail and Magnum battle back and forth. Ishmail hoists Magnum up and hits a rib crusher for a two count. Ishmail hits the neck wrencher and continues his assault. Ishmail dumps Magnum over the top rope. Magnum drags Ishmail under the bottom rope and slams him into the ring steps. Magnum rolls him back into the ring. Magnum locks on the abdominal stretch but Ishmail makes it to the ropes. Magnum and Ishmail brawl outside the ring. Ishmail comes out on top and throws Magnum back into the ring. Ishmail locks on the Stranglehold but Magnum fights him off. Ishmail locks Magnum in a body scissors and Magnum taps out.
Winner - Yusuf Ishmail by submission
Magnum TA is favoring his ribs as he makes his way to the back. Larry Matysik is impressed by Ishmail’s win over Magnum. Joe Garagiola introduces the main event
4. Ted DiBiase with Harley Race vs. Nick Bockwinkel - Central States Heavyweight title match! Bockwinkel goes after DiBiase like a shark at the opening bell while Race shouts encouragement at DiBiase. After a few minutes, DiBiase catches Bockwinkel with a small package for a two count. DiBiase locks on the figure four but Bockwinkel fights his way to the ropes. DiBiase hits a power slam but Bockwinkel kicks out at two. DiBIase hits a backbreaker and covers Bockwinkel for a two count. DiBIase hits another power slam but Bockwinkel gets his foot on the ropes. DiBIase hits another backbreaker and covers Bockwinkel for the win.
Winner - DiBiase by pinfall, his third title defense
Matysik and Garagiola sign off saying to tune in next week when Davey Boy Smith takes on Evan Lewis in the main event.

Championship Wrestling from Kansas City 9 Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event of Davey Boy Smith vs. Evan Lewis. Larry throws it to Mickey Garagiola for the introductions.
1. Johnny Mantell vs.Tiger Conway Mantell roughs up Conway at the opening bell. Tiger takes him down and locks on the figure four leglock for the win.
Winner - Tiger Conway by submission
Gordon Solie catches up with Tiger Conway after the match. Tiger says he may have the best figure four in CWFKC. Nick Bockwinkel interrupts the proceedings and says there’s no way Tiger Conway can beat him with the figure four, the hold Bockwinkel invented. Tiger says he’ll prove it in the ring next week. Bockwinkel agrees and Gordon is relieved no punches were thrown. The show goes to a commercial. When it returns, the next match is in progress.
2. Dutch Savage vs. The Grappler The Grappler clotheslines Dutch out of his boots and drills him with the loaded boot for the three count.
Winner - The Grappler by pinfall
Matsik puts over another victory by The Grappler. He throws it to Gordon Solie in the ring with Steve Regal.
Regal says he hasn’t had much luck yet but thinks he can take Ishmail later today. Gordon notes that Regal seems confident and that might be what he needs. Regal goes to his corner and Mickey Garagiola introduces his opponent.
3. Steve Regal Vs. Yusuf Ishmail Regal is off to a good start but Ishmail kills his momentum with a rib crusher for a two count. Regal makes a comeback but Ishmail dodges a corner splash and Regal tumbles out of the ring. Ishmail gives him a rib crusher on the concrete and Regal is counted out.
Winner - Yusuf Ishmail by count out
Larry Matysik says Ishmail is on a tear and it’s only a matter of time before he gets a crack at the Central States Heavyweight title. Joe Garagiola introduces the main event.
4. Davey Boy Smith vs. Evan Lewis Davey uses his strength advantage to toss Lewis all over the ring. Davey hits a piledriver for a two count. Davey scoops Lewis up and hits a running power slam for a two count. Davey hits another running power slam but Lewis gets his foot on the ropes before the three count. Lewis tries mounting a comeback but the Bulldog overpowers him and hits another running power slam for the win.
Winner - Davey Boy Smith by pinfall
Lewis is bad mouthing the referee after the match when Cowboy Bob Orton slides into the ring and bashes Lewis with a chair. He puts Lewis on the top turnbuckle and hits the superplex. Security storms the ring.
Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola sign off, saying don’t forget to tune in next week when Nick Bockwinkel takes on Tiger Conway in the main event.

1. Sam Houston vs. Ox Baker Houston is off to a strong start but can’t hurt Baker. Baker flattens Houston and goes on the attack. Baker hits a body slam for a two count. Baker mauls Houston and whips him to the ropes. Houston catches Baker with a small package for a two count. Houston hits the bulldog for the win!
Winner - Sam Houston by pinfall
Matsik and Garagiola go wild, putting over Sam Houston. Joe throws it to Mickey Garagiola for the introductions.
2. Magnum TA vs. Ric McCord McCord attacks Magnum at the opening bell. McCord whips him to the ropes and Magnum puts on the brakes and rolls McCord up with a small package for the win.
Winner - Magnum TA by pinfall
Gordon Solie catches up with Magnum after the match. Magnum says he’s headed to the top and wants another crack at Yusuf Ishmail. Gordon is asking another question when Ishmail attacks Magnum from behind. The two men brawl and Magnum is getting the upper hand when the show goes to commercial.
When the show returns, Gordon has a swelling eye and crooked glasses, is in the ring with King Kong Bundy. Bundy says Lanny Poffo is so far out of his league that they should have made him buy a ticket to get in the building. Bundy lets loose a belly laugh and Gordon scrambles for cover as Lanny Poffo is introduced.
3. Lanny Poffo Vs. King Kong Bundy As expected, Bundy throws Poffo all around the ring. Bundy hits the Atlantic City Avalanche but Poffo gets his foot on the ropes at 4. Bundy whips Poffo to the buckles for another Avalanche but Poffo slides out of the way and school boys Bundy for a two count. Poffo and Bundy battle back and forth. Poffo can’t seem to hurt the big man. Bundy throws Poffo out of the ring and hits a big splash on the concrete. Poffo manages to haul himself back into the ring to avoid the count out. Bundy hits another avalanche for the win.
Winner - King Kong Bundy by pinfall
Joe Garagiola says the champion will have to deal with King Kong Bundy sooner or later. Larry Matysik introduces the main event.
4. Nick Bockwinkel vs. Tiger Conway Conway takes Bockwinkel down and goes for the figure four but Bockwinkel rolls away. Conway and Bockwinkel brawl on the floor and Conway hits a body slam. Bockwinkel almost doesn’t make it back into the ring before the count out. Tiger nails Bockwinkel with his signature head butt for a two count. Conway locks on the figure four but Bockwinkel rolls to the ropes. Bockwinkel takes over and goes after Tiger’s leg like a shark, hitting the butt drop on the leg several times. Bockwinkel locks on the figure four and Conway taps out.
Winner - Nick Bockwinkel by submission
Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola sign off, saying don’t forget to tune in next week when Davey Boy Smith takes on The Grappler in the main event as well as a grudge match between Cowboy Bob Orton and Evan Lewis.

1. Marty Jannetty vs. Joe Blanchard Jannetty and Blanchard duke it out during the introductions and Jannetty comes out on top. Jannetty flattens Blanchard with a dropkick but is slow to capitalize on it. Blanchard and Jannetty battle back and forth. Blanchard takes control and hits a piledriver for a two count. Blanchard locks on the abdominal stretch but Jannetty is able to hobble to the ropes. Blanchard locks on the abdominal stretch a second time Jannetty is able to hip toss him. Jannetty makes a comeback but Blanchard shuts him down with a piledriver for a two count. Blanchard hits another piledriver fora two count. Blanchard locks on the abdominal stretch a third time and Jannetty taps out.
Winner - Joe Blanchard by submission
After the match, Gordon Solie catches up with Joe Blanchard. Blanchard has no time for Gordon and shoves him to the mat. Blanchard puts the boots to Gordon until George Tragos comes out of the crowd to make the save. The show goes to commercial as Gordon is being treated by the wrestling commission doctor. When it returns, the next match is in progress.
2. Steve Regal vs. Baron Von Raschke Regal is fired up and takes the fight to the Baron. The Baron battles back and Regal catches him with a small package but Von Rachske kicks out. Regal hits a stun gun for the win.
Winner - Steve Regal by pinfall
A jumpy Gordon Solie interviews Cowboy Bob Orton in the ring before the next match. Orton says Evan Lewis will pay for putting him out of action. Lewis attacks Orton from behind knocking him to the mat. Gordon scrambles to get out of the way and the timekeeper rings the bell.
3. Cowboy Bob Orton vs. Evan Lewis Lewis throws Orton out of the ring and punishes him on the outside. Lewis rolls Orton back into the ring. Lewis locks on the knee bar but Orton is able to reach the ropes to break the hold. Orton finally makes a comeback and hits a superplex for a two count. Orton hits a second superplex but can’t put Lewis away. Orton hits the delayed vertical suplex for the win.
Winner - Cowboy Bob Orton by pinfall
Matysik remarks on how the Kansas City crowd has taken to Cowboy Bob Orton. Garagiola says he grew up in KC and introduces the main event.
4. Davey Boy Smith vs. The Grappler - #1 contender Davey and the Grappler battle back and forth. The Grappler drills Davey with a knee lift for a two count. Davey recovers but The Grappler shuts him down and hits a shoulder breaker for a two count. Davey makes a big comeback and hits a twisting power slam for a two count. Davey scoops the Grappler up and hits a running power slam but the Grappler gets his foot on the ropes before the three count. Davey throws The Grappler all over the ring and hits a running clothesline for a two count. Davey hits another running power slam for the win.
Winner - Davey Boy Smith by pinfall
Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola sign off, saying don’t forget to tune in next week when Central States Heavyweight champion Ted DiBiase defends the gold against Davey Boy Smith in the main event.
