Championship Wrestling from Kansas City 12 Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event of Ted DiBiase vs. Davey Boy Smith for the Central States Heavyweight title. Larry mentions Gordon Solie has the day off so there will be no interviews this week. Larry throws it to Mickey Garagiola for the introductions.
1. George Tragos vs. Ric McCord Tragos takes control early on but is distracted when Joe Blanchard shows up at ringside. McCord surprises him with a fireman’s carry slam for the win.
Winner - Ric McCord by pinfall
Tragos chases Blanchard to the back but the two are quickly separated by security. Matysik says the two men will lock up again soon and Joe Garagiola introduces the next match.
2. Magnum TA Vs. Yusuf Ishmail Magnum and Ishmail battle back and forth. Ishmail gets some momentum going with his illegal tactics and locks on the Stranglehold but Magnum fights his way to the ropes. Magnum makes a comeback and hits several running forearms for a two count. Magnum hits the belly to belly suplex but Ishmail gets his foot on the ropes before the three count. Magnum and Ishmail battle back and forth. Magnum hits a dropkick and covers Ishmail for the win.
Winner - Magnum TA by pinfall
3. The Trooper vs. Joe Blanchard Blanchard is distracted, looking over his shoulder for George Tragos, and The Trooper goes on a rampage. The Trooper locks on the Big Pinch but Blanchard is able to escape the hold. The Trooper throws Blanchard into the middle of the ring and locks on the Big Pinch a second time for the win.
Winner - The Trooper by submission
Joe Blanchard takes the mic from Mickey and says he wants George Tragos next week, Loser Leaves town. George Tragos comes out to the ring and accepts the challenge.
Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola react to the news and introduce the main event.
4. Ted DiBiase with Harley Race vs. Davey Boy Smith - Central States Heavyweight Championship Davey takes control at the opening bell and owerpowers DiBiase. Davey hits a piledriver for a two count and Harley Race is red faced and furious at ringside. DiBiase rolls out of the ring to regroup and Davey clotheslines him over the guardrail and into the front row. Davey rolls DiBiase back into the ring. Davey goes to the top rope for a flying body press but DiBiase catches him and power slams him for a two count. DiBIase hits the fist drop for the win.
Winner - Ted DiBiase by pinfall, his fourth title defense
Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola sign off, saying don’t forget to tune in next week whenJoe Blanchard and George Tragos go one on one in the main event, Loser Leaves Town!

Championship Wrestling from Kansas City 13 Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event of George Tragos vs. Joe Blanchard in a loser leaves town match.. Larry throws it to Mickey Garagiola for the introductions.
1. Bob Roop vs. Keith Steinborn Roop goes after Steinborn like a shark and hits a spinning neckbreaker for a two count. Roop tortures Steinborn and hits the Shoulder Breaker for the win.
Winner - Bob Roop by pinfall
Gordon Solie gets a few words with Roop after the match. Roop says he’s after the Central States Heavyweight title like everyone else. He said the Geigel Cup tournament at the Missouri State Fair is coming up in a couple weeks and Roop promises to win it. The show goes to commercial and returns with the next match in progress.
2. Baron Von Raschke vs. Lanny Poffo Poffo is fired up and whips Von Raschke to the ropes for a back drop. Von Raschke kicks him in the face and goes to work. Von Raschke hits a backbreaker drop and covers Poffo for the win.
Winner - Baron Von Raschke by pinfall
Larry Matsik says both men needed that win but Von Raschke took it. He throws it to Gordon Solie in the ring with Bruiser Brody.
Brody says he’s in a slump but good things come to those who wait. He promises to beat Ishmail and get back in the title hunt. Brody takes his corner and Mickey Garagiola introduces his opponent.
3. Bruiser Brody vs. Yusuf Ishmail Brody bounces Ishmail off the buckles and drops him with a lariat to start the match. Ishmail tries mounting a comeback but Brody stomps him to the mat. Brody hits the Jumping Knee Drop but Ishmail gets his foot on the ropes. Brody and Ishmail battle outsider the ring and Ishmail gets some momentum going. Ishmail hits a rib crusher for a two count. Ishmail clamps on the stranglehold but Brody fights his way to the ropes. The match spills out of the ring and Brody blasts Ishmail with a chair, busting him open. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner - Yusuf Ishmail by disqualification
Brody and Ishmail continue brawling until security arrives. Larry Matysik says we haven’t seen the last encounter between the two men and introduces the main event.
4. Joe Blanchard vs. George Tragos - Loser Leaves Town Tragos has the early advantage but Blanchard turns things around with a bulldog. Blanchard whips Tragos to the ropes and Tragos nails him with a piledriver to turn things around. Tragos locks on the armlock and scissors but Blanchard rolls them to the ropes. Tragos locks on the Grecian Sleeper Grip but Blanchard fights his way to the ropes. Blanchard makes a comeback but Tragos shuts him down and throws him out of the ring. Blanchard drops Tragos across the guardrail and rolls him back into the ring. Tragos locks on the abdominal stretch and Tragos submits.
Winner - Joe Blanchard by pinfall
Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola sign off, saying don’t forget to tune in next week when Cowboy Bob Orton takes on Magnum TA to determine the #1 contender to Ted DiBiase’s Central States Heavyweight title!!

Championship Wrestling from Kansas City 14 Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event of Cowboy Bob Orton vs. Magnum TA to determine the #1 contender to Ted DiBiase’s Central States Heavyweight Championship.. Larry throws it to Mickey Garagiola for the introductions. Gordon Solie standing by with Brickhouse Brown.
Brickhouse says he’s glad to be in Kansas City and that Central States Heavyweight title would look good around his waist. Brickhouse heads to his corner while Mickey Garagiola introduces his opponent.
1. Brickhouse Brown vs. Ric McCord McCord is aggressive in the opening minutes, working Brown’s arm. Brown makes a comeback and hits the flying body press for a two count. Brown works over McCord with a few neckbreakers and hits another flying body press for the win.
Winner - Brickhouse Brown by pinfall
Joe Garagiola in particular is impressed with Brickhouse Brown and hopes he’s in the Geigel Cup tournament at the Missouri State Fair in ten days. Larry introduces the next match.
2. Nick Bockwinkel vs. Larry Hennig Bockwinkel jumps Hennig at the opening bell and goes to work. Bockwinkel locks on the figure four but Hennig fights him off. Bockwinkel hits a back suplex and covers Hennig for a two count. Bockwinkel hits a knee smash to the back and covers Hennig for a near fall. Bockwinkel chokes Hennig on the ropes and locks on the figure four. Hennig taps out.
Winner - Nick Bockwinkel by submission
Gordon Solie catches up with Bockwinkel after the match. Bockwinkel says that Central States Heavyweight title will be his soon, even if he has to go through 15 other men in the Geigel Cup tournament to get a shot.
The show goes to commercial. When it returns, the next match is in progress.
3. King Kong Bundy vs. The Trooper Bundy body slams The Trooper and hits a big splash for the win.
Winner - King Kong Bundy by pinfall
Matysik and Garagiola introduces the main event and remind the viewers the winner will take on Ted DiBiase for the Central States Heavyweight title next week!
4. Cowboy Bob Orton vs. Magnum TA - #1 contenders match Magnum and Orton battle back and forth. Magnum drills Orton with a running forearm, knocking him out. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner - Magnum TA by referee stoppage
Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola sign off, saying don’t forget to tune in next week when Magnum TA takes on Ted DiBiase for the Central States Heavyweight title!!

Championship Wrestling from Kansas City 15 Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event of Ted DiBiase vs. Magnum TA for the Central States Heavyweight Championship.. Larry throws it to Mickey Garagiola for the introductions.
1. Brian Blair vs. Ox Baker Blair brings Baker to his knees with a hammerlock tilt and throws him out of the ring. Blair takes the fight to Ox and Ox rolls back into the ring. Blair nails him with a flying forearm smash but Ox easily kicks out. Blair locks on the Cobra Clutch but Ox backs him into the corner, forcing him to break the hold. Ox goes for a clothesline but Blair heaves him up for an airplane spin. Ox taps out.
Winner - Brian Blair by submission
Gordon Solie catches up with Blair after the match. Blair says he’s glad to be in CWFKC and promises the fans he’ll make them proud at the Geigel Cup Challenge at the Missouri State Fair later in the week. Ox Baker attacks Blair from behind and nails him with a heart punch. Blair goes down to one knee as security arrives. The show goes to commercial and returns with the next match in progress.
2. Marty Jannetty vs. Johnny Mantell Mantell is dominating Jannetty and we can only imagine what transpired during the break. Jannetty makes a comeback and nails Mantell with a DDT for a two count. Jannetty nails Mantell with a dropkick and covers him for a near fall. Jannetty and Mantell battle outside the ring and Mantell gets the upper hand. Mantell hits the Russian Leg Sweep for the win.
Winner - Johnny Mantell by pinfall
Matysik says Mantell was impressive in that encounter. Joe Garagiola throws it to Gordon Solie in the ring with Evan Lewis. Lewis says he’s at a crossroads and needs to beat Dutch Savage to prove to everyone that he still has what it takes. He vows to beat Savage and will do anything to win. Lewis takes his corner and Mickey Garagiola introduces his opponent.
3. Evan Lewis vs. Dutch Savage Savage and Lewis battle back and forth. Lewis gets some momentum going and locks on the hammerlock. Savage is able to fight his way to the ropes. Savage fights back and nails Lewis with a clothesline for a two count. Savage punishes Lewis and hits the running piledriver for a two count. Savage hits a second running piledriver for the win.
Winner - Dutch Savage by pinfall
Matysik and Garagiola hype the main event one last time and go to it.
4. Ted DiBiase with Harley Race vs. Magnum TA - Central States Heavyweight title match DiBiase is the aggressor early on but Magnum takes over when the two men clothesline one another. Magnum locks on the sleeper hold but DiBiase escapes. Magnum and DiBiase battle on the outside and DiBiase comes out on top. Magnum makes a comeback and nails DiBiase with a running forearm. DiBiase rolls out of the ring and Harley Race shouts encouragement at him. Magnum comes out after him and DiBiase hits a drop toehold, sending Magnum colliding with the ring steps.
Magnum and DiBiase battle back and forth. DiBiase and Magnum battle outside the ring and DiBIase nails Magnum with a chair and rolls him back inside. DiBiase hits a power slam for a two count. DiBIase and Magnum battle on the outside again and DiBiase comes out on top. DiBiase takes Magnum down and locks on the figure four. Magnum submits.
Winner - Ted DiBIase by submission, his fifth title defense
Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola sign off, saying don’t forget Championship Wrestling from Kansas City will be at the Missouri State Fair for the Geigel Cup on Friday and Saturday and back in action on Sunday for a rematch between Brian Blair and Ox Baker and Bruiser Brody vs. Yusuf Ishmail in a Falls Count Anywhere in Missouri or Kansas match!

The Geigel Cup Challenge at the Missouri State Fair - Day 1 1. Brickhouse Brown vs. Davey Boy Smith Brickhouse has the early advantage but has a hard time competing with the Bulldog’s athleticism. Davey nails Brickhouse with a clothesline and hits the running power slam for the win.
Winner - Davey Boy Smith by pinfall
2. Brian Blair vs. The Grappler The Grappler takes over at the opening bell. Blair knocks The Grappler to the mat with a flying forearm smash and goes to the top rope. Blair hits a flying cross body for a two count. Blair locks on the Cobra Clutch and The Grappler taps out.
Winner - Brian Blair by pinfall. Blair will face Davey Boy Smith in the second round
3. Dan Spivey vs. Joe Blanchard Blanchard gets the early advantage but Spivey overpowers him. Blanchard makes a comeback and hoists Spivey up in the airplane spin. Spivey won’t submit so Blanchard dumps him in the middle of the ring. Blanchard and Spivey battle on the outside and Spivey comes out on top. Spivey hits the Spivey Spike for a two count. Spivey hits a power bomb for the win.

4. King Kong Bundy vs. Dutch Savage Bundy gets the early advantage but Savage is soon fighting back. Savage whips Bundy to the buckles and Bundy elbows in the face. Savage makes a comeback and knocks Bundy throw the ropes. Savage hits a big clothesline on the floor and Bundy is nearly counted out. Savage hoists Bundy up and hits the running piledriver for the win.
Winner- Dutch Savage by pinfall. Savage will wrestle Dan Spivey in the second round
5. Special guest entrant Jack Brisco vs. Evan Lewis Lewis tries sucker punching Brisco at the opening bell but Brisco hoists him up in the airplane spin, wearing him down. Brisco locks on the figure four and it looks as if Lewis will tap but he’s able to reach the ropes. Brisco hits a dropkick for a near fall. Brisco hits a knee breaker and locks on the figure four a second time but Lewis is too close to the ropes. Brisco hits a rolling reverse cradle for the win.
Winner - Jack Brisco by pinfall
6. Dick Hutton vs. Cowboy Bob Orton Orton flattens Hutton with knee smashes and hits the Orton Bomb for a two count. Orton and Hutton battle back and forth. Hutton hits an atomic drop for a two count. Orton and Hutton grapple back and forth. Orton hits a superplex for a two count. Orton hits a kneeling neckbreaker for a two count. Orton hits another superplex for the win.
Winner - Cowboy Bob Orton by pinfall. Orton will face Jack Brisco in the second round.
7. Nick Bockwinkel vs. Yusuf Ishmail Ishmail dominates Bockwinkel early on with his illegal tactics. Bockwinkel makes a comeback and dumps Ishmail out of the ring. Bockwinkel hits a piledriver for a two count. Ishmail makes a comeback and goes to work with the illegal tactics. Bockwinkel hits a back suplex and Ishmail rolls out of the ring. Ishmail slams Bockwinkel into the steps and rolls him back into the ring. Ishmail locks on the Stranglehold but Bockwinkel escapes. Ishmail locks on the Stranglehold a second time and Bockwinkel taps out.
