1. Davey Boy Smith vs. Brian Blair - second round
Smith has the advantage early on but Blair knocks him on his back with a flying forearm smash. Blair locks on the Cobra Clutch but Smith backs him into the corner, forcing the break. Blair hoists up Davey in the airplane spin but can’t get the Bulldog to submit. Blair power slams Davey for a two count. Davey and Blair battle back and forth. Davey hits a piledriver for a two count. Davey hits the running power slam but Blair gets his foot on the ropes before the three count. Davey hits a twisting power slam for the win.

Winner - Davey Boy Smith by pinfall

2. Dan Spivey vs. Dutch Savage - second round
Spivey and Savage battle back and forth. Savage takes control after a brawl on the outside. Savage hits a running piledriver but Spivey gets his foot on the ropes before the three count. Dutch nails Spivey with a thumb to the throat and covers him for a two count. Savage hits another running piledriver for the win.

Winner - Dutch Savage by pinfall. Savage will face Davey Boy Smith in the third round

3. Jack Brisco vs. Cowboy Bob Orton - second round
Brisco and Orton grapple back and forth. Brisco hits a dropkick for a two count. Brisco locks on the figure four and Orton submits.

Winner - Jack Brisco by submission

4. Yusuf Ishmail vs. Magnum TA - second round
Magnum and Ishmail battle back and forth. Ishmail takes control after a brawl outside the ring. Magnum makes a comeback and hits the belly to belly suplex for a two count. Magnum hits a second belly to belly for a two count. Magnum hits a third belly to belly suplex for the win.

Winner - Magnum TA by pinfall. Magnum TA will face Jack Brisco in the third round

5. Davey Boy Smith vs. Dutch Savage - third round
Savage gets the upper hand early on but Davey throws him across the ring. Dutch takes control after a brawl on the outside. Dutch hits the big knee drop for a two count. Dutch nails Davey with the thumb to the throat and covers him for a two count. Davey makes a comeback and hits a running powerslam for a two count. Davey goes to the top and Dutch throws him to the mat. Dutch hoists Davey up and hits the running piledriver but Davey gets his foot on the ropes. Dutch drills Davey with two thumbs to the throat, leaving the Bulldog gasping for breath. Dutch hits another running piledriver for the win.

Winner - Dutch Savage by pinfall. Dutch advances to the finals.

6. Jack Brisco vs. Magnum TA - third round
Brisco and Magnum grapple back and forth. Magnum rolls up Brisco with a small package for a two count. Magnum unloads on Brisco but can’t keep him down. Brisco takes control and hits a gut wrench backbreaker for a two count. Brisco locks on the figure four but Magnum makes it to the ropes. Magnum makes a comeback but Brisco hits a big suplex and covers Magnum for the win.

Winner - Jack Brisco by pinfall. Brisco advances to the finals.

7. Dutch Savage vs. Jack Brisco - finals
Brisco and Savage battle back and forth. Brisco takes Savage down and locks on the figure four but Dutch gets to the ropes. Savage gets some momentum going but Brisco kills it with a small package for a two count. Brisco goes for the knee breaker but Savage elbows his way out of it and hits a belly to back suplex for a two count. Dutch hits the running piledriver for a two count. Brisco gets some momentum going but Dutch rolls out of the ring and drags him under the bottom rope. Dutch body slams Brisco on the concrete and rolls him back into the ring. Dutch whips Brisco the buckles and Brico rolls him up for a two count. Brisco loses his temper and dumps Dutch out of the ring. Dutch slams Brisco into the guardrail and rolls him back into the ring. Dutch and Brisco battle back and forth. Brisco rolls him up with the rolling reverse cradle for a two count. Brisco hits a dropkick and covers Savage for the three count.

Winner - Jack Brisco by pinfall. Jack Brisco has won the Geigel Cup

Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event of Bruiser Brody vs. Yusuf Ishmail in a Falls Count Anywhere in Missouri or Kansas match. They go to ring announcer Mickey Garagiola, who introduces the first match.

1. Jack Brisco vs. Keith Steinborn
Brisco makes short work of Steinborn, quickly locking on the figure four for the submission victory.

Winner - Jack Brisco by submission

After the match, Gordon Solie catches up with Jack Brisco and congratulates him on the Geigel Cup win. Brisco says it was some of the toughest competition he’s ever had. Gordon asks what his future holds. Jack says he has some dates to finish up with the Florida office but he’ll be back to Kansas City in a few weeks to make a run for the Central States Heavyweight championship. Gordon throws it back to the announce team and Joe introduces the next match.

2. Dutch Savage vs. Ric McCord
As Mickey makes the introductions, Larry and Joe put over Dutch Savage’s performance in the Geigle Cup tournament. Dutch crushes McCord with a clothesline and hits the Running Piledriver but McCord gets his foot on the ropes. Dutch nails McCord with another clothesline and covers him for a two count. Dutch hits another Running Piledriver for the win.

Winner - Dutch Savage by pinfall

Matysik says Dutch is on a hot streak and throws it to Gordon Solie standing by with Brian Blair. Blair gets fired up and says he’ll beat Ox Baker and keep climbing the ladder. Gordon scrambles to get out of the way as Ox Baker makes his way to ringside.

3. Brian Blair vs. Ox Baker
Baker pummels Blair for the first few minutes. Ox takes glee at torturing Blair and whips him to the ropes for a back drop. Blair puts on the breaks and rolls Ox up in a small package for the three count!

Winner - Brian Blair by pinfall

Ox is incensed but Blair sensibly rolls out of the ring and runs to the back. Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola introduce the main event.

4. Bruiser Brody vs. Yusuf Ishmail - Falls Count Anywhere in Missouri or Kansas
Brody crushes Ishamil in the corner and hits the jumping knee drop for a two count. Brody hits a piledriver for a two count and throws Ishamil out of the ring. Ismahil makes a comeback and nails Brody with a chair, busting him open. Brody blocks a second chair shot and busts Ishmail open with a chair shot of his own. Brody slams Ishamil into the ringpost and heads further from the ring. Brody hits a one hand body slam in the entrance way and nails Ishmail with another jumping knee drop. The referee makes the three count.

Winner - Bruiser Brody by pinfall

Instead of leaving through the curtain, Brody takes the long way, walking through the crowd and waving to the fans.

Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola thank the fans for watching and invite them to tune in next week when King Kong Bundy and Dutch Savage go head to head to determine the #1 contender to the Central States Heavyweight championship!

Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event of Dutch Savage vs. King Kong Bundy to determine the #1 contender for Ted DiBiase’s Central States Heavyweight championship. They go to ring announcer Mickey Garagiola, who introduces the first match.

1. Brickhouse Brown vs. Ox Baker
Ox and Brickhouse battle back and forth. Brickhouse gets some momentum going and hits a fist drop for a two count. Brickhouse goes to the top and Baker throws him to the mat. Brickhouse gets to his feet and Ox drills him with a heart punch for the win.

Winner - Ox Baker by pinfall

Gordon Solie catches up with Ox after the match. Baker says he’s tired of not getting any respect and wants to teach Brian Blair a lesson after last week. Blair interrupts the interview and says he’ll gladly beat Ox again. The show goes to commercial and returns with the next match in progress.

2. Bob Roop vs. Marty Jannetty
Roops appears to have things well in hand but the momentum shifts to Jannetty. Jannetty hits a DDT for a two count. Jannetty hits the Rocker Dropper but Roop won’t stay down. Roop rolls outside to regroup and attacks Jannetty as he comes through the ropes. Roop suplexes Jannetty on the ring steps and rolls him back into the ring. Roop drills Jannetty with a shoulder breaker for a two count. Jannetty rebounds and hits another DDT for a two count. Jannetty hits a second Rocker Dropper for the win.

Winner - Marty Jannetty by pinfall

Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola put over the win by Jannetty and throw it to Gordon Solie in the ring with Dick Hutton. Hutton says he’ll outwrestle Dan Spivey and prove he’s the best pure wrestler in the territory. Gordon gets out of the way as Hutton’s opponent makes his way to the ring.

3. Dick Hutton vs. Dan Spivey
Hutton takes Spivey to the mat and nails him with a dropkick for a two count. Spivey mounts a comeback but Hutton catches him with a side salto for a two count. Spivey gets some momentum going and Hutton rolls out of the ring. Spivey goes out after him and Hutton hits a side salto on the concrete. Hutton rolls Spivey back into the ring. Hutton clamps on the Abdominal Stretch and Spivey submits.

Winner - Dick Hutton by submission

Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola introduce the main event and say the winner will get a shot at the Central States Heavyweight title in two weeks!

4. Dutch Savage vs. King Kong Bundy - #1 contenders match
As Mickey Garagiola is making introductions, Bundy tries hitting Savage with the Avalanche. Savage moves and Bundy crushes Mickey in the corner! Bundy is in disbelief and Dutch goes on the attack! Bundy turns the tables on Dutch and locks him in a bear hug. Dutch fights his way out of the hold. Bundy hoists Dutch up and hits a body slam for the win.

Winner - King Kong Bundy by pinfall

Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola sign off and tell the fans to tune in again next week for the rematch between Ox Baker and Brian Blair and Ted DiBiase defending the Central States Heavyweight title against Marty Jannetty.

Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event of Ox Baker vs. Brian Blair. They go to ring announcer Mickey Garagiola, who introduces the first match.

1. Ted DiBiase with Harley Race vs. Marty Jannetty - Central States Heavyweight title match
Larry and Joe say this is no softball title defense. The champ had a hole in his schedule and said he’d love to wrestle Jannetty. DiBiase goes to work on Jannetty and nails him with a fist drop but Jannetty is up before DiBiase can make a cover. DiBiase hits a neckbreaker drop and covers Jannetty for a two count. DiBiase locks on the figure four but Jannetty fights his way to the ropes. Jannetty makes a comeback and nails DiBiase with a DDT to turn things around. Jannetty lights DiBiase up and Harley Race is furious at ringside. Jannetty whips DiBiase to the ropes but DiBiase catches him with a small package for a two count. DiBiase hits a fist drop for a two count and drags Jannetty into the middle of the ring. DiBIase locks on the figure four and Jannetty taps out.

Winner - Ted DiBiase by submission, his sixth title defense

Gordon Solie catches up with DiBiase and Race after the match. As Gordon asks DiBiase what he thinks about King Kong Bundy, Bundy attacks Race and DiBiase from behind with a steel chair. Bundy whips Race into the corner and hits the Avalanche. Bundy stomps DiBiase and hits a big splash. Bundy repeatedly stomps DiBiase’s hand before security storms the ring. DiBiase leaves under his own power but Race has to be stretchered out. The show goes to commercial.

When the show returns, Gordon Solie is in the ring with Joe Blanchard. Solie says Race was rushed to a local medical facility. Blanchard takes the mic and says he ran George Tragos out of town and he’ll put Tiger Conway in the hospital if he’s not careful. Conway runs down to ringside and slams Blanchard into one of the ringposts. Tiger rolls him back into the ring and the match is on.

2. Joe Blanchard vs. Tiger Conway
Tiger locks on the sleeper and Joe is still woozy from being slammed into the ringpost. The referee raises Blanchard’s arm and calls for the bell.

Winner - Tiger Conway by referee stoppage.

Maytsik and Garagiola put over the show so far and introduce the next match.

3. Nick Bockwinkel vs. Dan Spivey
Bockwinkel plants Spivey with a back suplex and locks on the Bockwinknel sleeper. Spivey manages to drag the two of them to the ropes. Bockwinkel chokes Spivey on the ropes and dumps him outside the ring. Bockwinkel hits a piledriver on the concrete and Spivey barely beats the count back into the ring. Bockwinkel locks on the figure four and Spivey submits.

Winner - Nick Bockwinkel by submission

Garagiola says Bockwinkel is a hard man to beat and Ted DiBiase and Harley Race better keep an eye on him. Matysik introduces the main event.

4. Ox Baker vs. Brian Blair
Baker shoves Blair around at the opening bell and quickly pays for it. Blair nails him with a flying forearm smash for a two count. Blair locks on the Cobra Clutch but Ox backs him into the corner, forcing the break. Blair muscles Ox up and hits a power slam for a two count. Ox makes a comeback but Blair shuts him down and throws him to the outside. Ox body slams Blair on the concrete and rolls him back into the ring. Ox tortures Blair but makes no move to cover him. Blair makes a comeback and nails Ox with three forearm smashes. Blair covers Ox for a two count. Ox rolls out of the ring and Blair tries a pescado but Ox steps out of the way and Blair crashes to the concrete. Ox rolls Blair back into the ring. Again, Ox tortures Blair but makes no attempt to cover him. Ox whips Blair to the ropes and Blair rolls him up with a small package for the win.

Winner - Brian Blair by pinfall

Ox is furious after the loss but once again, Blair rolls out of the ring and makes a beeline to the back. Larry and Joe sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week when Ted DiBiase puts the Central States Heavyweight title up against King Kong Bundy.
