Championship Wrestling from Kansas City 29
Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola welcome the fans and plug the main event of Jack Brisco vs. Yusuf Ishmail to determine the #1 contender to the Central States Heavyweight title. Larry Matysik introduces the first match.
1. Dick Hutton vs. Brickhouse Brown
Hutton and Brown grapple back and forth. Hutton gets some momentum going and tosses Brickhouse to the outside. Hutton hits a scoop slam on the concrete and Brickhouse nearly gets counted out. Hutton rolls up Brown with the Oklahoma Sideroll for a two count.Hutton htis a scoop slam for the win.
Winner - Dick Hutton by pinfall
Garagiola puts over Hutton’s performance and Matysik throws it to Gordon Solie in the ring with Marty Jannetty. Marty says he’s going to beat Spivey and get another shot at the Central States Heavyweight title. Marty goes to his corner and Mickey Garagiola introduces his opponent.
2. Marty Jannetty vs. Dan Spivey
Marty hits a DDT in the opening minutes and tosses Spivey to the outside. Spivey slams Jannetty against the ring apron and rolls him back in. Spivey hits the Spivey spike but has a hard time following up on it. Jannetty recovers and hits the Rocker Dropper for a two count. Jannetty hits a second Rocker Dropper but Spivey gets his foot on the ropes. Jannetty hits a third Rocker Dropper for the win.
Winner - Marty Jannetty by pinfall
Matysik and Garagiola continue to be impressed by Jannetty’s performance. They introduce the next match.
3. Cowboy Bob Orton vs. Tiger Conway
Orton and Conway grapple back and forth. Orton gets some momentum going and hits the Superplex for the win.
Winner - Cowboy Bob Orton by pinfall
Matysik and Garagiola put over Cowboy Bob Orton and introduce the main event.
4. Jack Brisco vs. Yusuf Ishmail - #1 contender match
Ishmail tries ambushing Brisco at the opening bell but Brisco hoists him up in the airplane spin and dumps him in the middle of the ring. Brisco locs on the figure four but Ishmail makes it to the ropes. Brisco hits a dropkick for a two count. Brisco rolls Ishmail with the rolling reverse cradle for a two count. Brisco hits a gut wrench backbreaker for the win.
Winner - Jack Brisco by pinfall
Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola sign off, remind fans to tune in next week when Ted DiBiase defends the gold against his arch enemy Jack Brisco!

Bruh...DiBiase is looking OP right now. What sorcerer has he gone to for this run of defenses? Also, love me some Brian Blair, so if he's planned for any additional cards, you won't hear any complaining from me  |

Also, love me some Brian Blair, so if he's planned for any additional cards, you won't hear any complaining from me I gave DiBiase the hometown advantage from the new Ringside Companion but he honestly hasn't needed it that much. I'm putting this fed on hiatus after card #30 but I'm bringing Blair into LWF Legacy of Gold when I start that up again on 1/1. |

Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola welcome the fans and plug the main event of Ted DiBiase vs. Jack Brisco for the Central States Heavyweight title. Larry Matysik introduces the first match. 1. Joe Blanchard vs. Larry Hennig
Blanchard and Hennig battle back and forth. Blanchard gets some momentum going and locks on the abdominal stretch but Hennig fights his way out of the hold. Blanchard locks on the Boston Crab but Hennig drags them to the ropes to break the hold. Blanchard throws Hennig out of the ring and slams him with a chair. Blanchard rolls Hennig back into the ring. Hennig makes a comeback and hits an elbow drop for a two count. Hennig locks on a bear hug but Blanchard fights his way out of the hold. Hennig nails Blanchard with the Axe for the win. Winner - Larry Hennig by pinfall
Larry Matysik and Joe Garagiola hype Larry Hennig’s toughness and introduce the next match. 2. The Grappler vs. Steve Regal
Regal quickly takes the Grappler down and locks on the Ft. Lauderdale Leglock. The Grappler submits. Winner - Steve Regal by submission
Garagiola and Matysik wonder how much longer the Grappler will stick around if he can’t get a win streak going. Maytsik throws it to Gordon Solie standing by with Nick Bockwinkel. Bockwinkel says Davey Boy Smith is a no talent muscle head and he’ll prove it in the ring. Gordon leaves the ring as Bockwinkel parades around, waiting for his opponent. 3. Nick Bockwinkel vs. Davey Boy Smith
Bockwinkel goes to work on Davey. Davey rolls him up with a small package for a quick win. Winner - Davey Boy Smith by pinfall
Garagiola and Matysik are surprised by Smith’s quick win and say he’ll be in the main event again soon. They introduce the main event. 4. Ted DiBIase vs. Jack Brisco - Central States Heavyweight Championship match!
Brisco goes to work on DiBiase right off the bat. DiBiase rolls out of the ring to catch a breather and Brisco goes out after him. DiBIase slams Brisco into the ring steps and rolls him back into the ring. DiBiase hits a power slam for a two count. DiBiase tells the referee the turnbuckle is loose. While the referee’s back is turned, DiBiase nails Brisco with the loaded glove. He covers Brisco and the referee makes the three count. Winner - Ted DIBiase by pinfall, his twelfth title defense
DiBiase is celebrating in the ring, the crowd pelting him with trash. Harley Race jumps the guard rail and grabs the Central States Heavyweight title belt from ringside. DiBIase turns around and Race drills him with the belt. Harley Race is putting the boots to DiBiase and Garagiola and Matysik sign off, telling the fans things will be sorted out next week. So that's the end for now. I left things on a cliffhanger so I'd be more motivated to come back to it. The current plan is to play year 3 of LWF Legacy of Gold and come back to CWFKC and USA Wrestling.
