Carlin has been announced as the new owner and promoter of the WWF and Superstar Productions is the new era of wrestling. WWF is now headquartered in Landover, MD.

(WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION) (Tuesday, January 24, 1984 @ Agricultural Hall in Allentown, PA) (TV Taping) ________________________________________________ (Announcer) Gordon Solie - (OPENING MATCH) Moondog Rex pinned Gorilla Monsoon with the Smash With Bone. - Jimmy Valiant defeated Austin Idol by disqualification when Idol delivered a piledriver to Valiant on the announcer's table. Before the match, Austin Idol turned heel, bashing the fans and issuing a challenge to anyone, Jimmy Valiant came out to his intro "Son of A Gypsy" and accepted the challenge. - Rowdy Roddy Piper and Don Kernodle defeated (WWF World Tag Team Champions) Brickhouse Brown and Tracy Smothers when Piper pinned Smothers when Piper hooked Smothers' legs after a botched sunset flip in a Non-Title Match. - Ivan Koloff pinned Tommy Rich with the Falling Face Slam. - (MAIN EVENT) Sgt. Slaughter made (WWF Intercontinental Champion) Magnificent Muraco submit to the Cobra Clutch in a Non-Title Match. Before the match, Sgt. Slaughter made his way out to the ring and Ivan Koloff was heading back to the dressing room, ended up in a war of words, which they were separated by WWF officials. As a result, Sgt. Slaughter has turned babyface.
