“Hello, and welcome to Appalachian Championship Wrestling. I’m Gordon Solie and we’ve got an incredible show for you tonight. Before we get started with tonight’s matches, let’s go to the interview podium where Commissioner Theodore Long, joined by a bandaged Ranger Ross, has a few words to say about last week’s attack by the Russians”
*Commissioner Long announces that the Russians deserve suspension for their attack on Ranger Ross, but won’t be.
Commissioner Long: “Ranger Ross has asked me not to suspend them, but instead has asked for a cage match with Alexis Smirnoff.”
Ranger Ross: “I’ll even put up the TV title on the line, just to make sure that coward shows up.”
Commissioner Long: “Are you sure you want to do that playa?”
Ranger Ross nods his approval.
Commissioner Long: “You got it!!”
*Crowd cheers*
Long: “I also want to add that because of his role in orchestrating last week’s attack, Ivan Koloff will face Sgt. Slaughter in tonight’s main event!!”
Solie: “Wow!! What an incredible main event!! Let’s go to the ring for our opening match.”
Tracy Smothers vs Dr. X
Dr. X defeats Tracy Smothers by submission at 7 after applying his Figure Four Leg Lock finisher. After the match, The Spoiler comes out to attack Smothers, and reveals himself to be aligned with Dr. X. As the two masked men walk away, Tracy recovers and challenges The Spoiler to a match next week.
Solie: “The Spoiler makes his return, and is aligned with Dr. X!! They definitely have some issue with Tracy Smothers. Up next we’ve got Dirty Dutch Mantel facing off with D Lo Brown.”
Dutch Mantel vs D Lo Brown
Dutch Mantel defeats D Lo Brown by submission at 8:31 after applying his Dirty Dutch Clutch finisher.
Solie: “Dutch scores a big win. He’s on a search for gold, and he may find some soon. Up next, in a match that will shake up the tag team rankings, The James Gang faces off against the Wild Moondogs!! Let’s go back to the ring.”
James Gang vs The Moondogs
The James Gang defeat the Moondogs by pinfall at 9:51, after Rex got hit with the James Gang Pounce.
Solie: “The James Gang were looking to get back into contention for the ACW tag titles, and score a big win tonight. They definitely want another shot at those belts.”
“Up next is our main event. This match was made earlier tonight by Commissioner Long as punishment for last week’s attack by the Russians. Let’s go back over to the ring.”
Sgt. Slaughter vs Ivan Koloff with Alexis Smirnoff
Ivan Koloff defeats Sgt. Slaughter by pinfall at 14:58, after Alexis Smirnoff’s interference allowed Koloff to hit a second Russian Sickle finisher to score the win.
After the match the two Russians attack Slaughter in another brutal beat down, this time using Ivan’s chain. A bandaged Ranger Ross runs in to make the save, but it’s too late. The Russians leave as paramedics attend the bloodied Slaughter laying in the ring.
Solie: “Ladies and gentlemen, this is an awful scene. The paramedics are putting Slaughter on the stretcher and wheeling him out to the ambulance. We’ll update everyone on his condition as soon as we know something. Goodnight everyone.”
