One thing I want to say is that it sounds like there’s some sort of issue going on with Stu’s audio. Usually his first couple of words are super soft or cut off. I’m wondering fit there’s a Limiter activated somewhere that’s the issue. Either on Stu’s mic, or audio processing into zoom. Doesn’t seem to be happening to anyone else. Might be an Echo Cancellation setting as well. I have noticed the same thing. Seems to have just been the past few weeks. I'm in the middle of the podcast, but interested to hear more. I always marvel at the Hungry Sparatan pizzas that Eric posts online. Someday I'll try that Chicken and Waffles pizza.

We've definitely noticed the issues with my audio. The audio issues for me correlate entirely with when I got a new laptop, and I for the life of me can't seem to figure out why its occurring. I don't see any setting changes to make when I log on, and it wasn't occurring before with my old laptop. I will eventually get a new headset, but until then, will try and find a workaround and also thank you for your patience!

In the Zoom app, check the Audio Preferences/Settings. They have a few. Zoom Optimized Audio and 'Original sound for musicians'. And in the Advanced Settings section there's an Echo Cancellation toggle. These might be the culprit.

Thanks throwingtoasters! I'll try to walk Stu through that. We're not a very techy bunch!

I think you have to adjust the treble and that little UHF knob on your Panisonic your running the audio through with your coax cables. And you'd be amazed at how much a new set of ball bearings will do wonders (it's all ball bearings these days). .....Grant over there thinking he's got advice. Listen to me, pal, I've got REAL answers.
