Dropkicks down Gama . . . 1, 2, kick out (R5/P1). Thesz control with a whip and kick in the corner, back drop and punches to the ribs. Gama with a double leg and slam. GAMA THROW. Thesz gets a shoulder up (R5/P3). Crushing bear hug. Charge blocked. Countering. Airplane spin. Back and forth. Thesz with dropkicks. Gama to the floor. Forearm exchange. Crushing bear hug. Back and forth counters. Gama with a scorpion death lock. Thesz counters charge. Back to back palm strikes from Gama. Double leg and slam. Crushing bear hug. Another. Running lariat. Gama pressing the attack. Thesz with a countering tackle. Thesz whips Gama into the corner . . . Gama avoids the charge. Roll up for two (R6/P3). GAMA THROW. Thesz kicks out at TWOOO (R8/P5). Waistlock suplex. Thesz bails. Gama rolls out as well. Whip . . . Gama into the post! Kick to the face blocked. Whip into the ropes, Thesz ducks a clothesline, rebounds back . . . Inside cradle 1, 2, kick out (R6/P2). Rolling short arm scissors. Gama into the corner, reversed! Thesz gets the knees up. Thesz off the top with a forearm. THESZ PRESS. 1, 2, 3 (R5/P5). Well, my initial pick to win (Andre) got taken out by one finalist... And my late pick (Gama) was defeated in a very dramatic contest with the other... Gotta believe that Thesz will finally capture the crown that has eluded him for all these years.

Β½ count (R11/P4). Stepover toehold facelock. Rope break (R5/P3). Thesz controls. Rebounds Inoki to back elbow. And again. Kick in the corner after a whip to the buckle. Dropkicks down Inoki. Double wrist lock. Cobra clutch suplex . . . blocked. Inokiβs kicks are countered. Airplane spin. Double wrist lock. Inoki opts to stay in the ring. GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP. 1, 2, kick out (R8/P6). Another GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP. 1, kick out (R9/P7). Woehrleβs count has picked up speed! Thesz off the top with a smash. GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROP. (R4/P8). Thesz wins the tournament!

After finishing runner up last year Lou Thesz wins this years tournament and makes history congratulations Mr Thesz. Also, congrats bookerbill on another outstanding tournament cannot wait for next years event.

There's no denying that Inoki fought hard, but Thesz just simply wouldn't be denied this year... Well deserved triumph! And many thanks to our friend, bookerbill for playing and sharing another glorious tournament!
