True Welsh wrestling legend Adrian Street - what a heel, imagine what heat he got from his drag gimmick in the days when it wasn't cool doing that kind of stuff. Wonder if he and Orig Williams (another Welsh wrestler) ever had a match ?

Is Exotic Adrian Street in the WWE hall of fame? I don't believe so, but the WWE did pay tribute to him at the very start of RAW last night. Edit: also at the start of NXT tonight

Adrian Street famously gave Jimmy Savile a beating in the ring. Shame he didn't kill him.

Hi Thanks for posting that, Troy! Rest in Peace, Mike! Mantaur was one gimmick that I actually enjoyed, dunno why! EDIT: I know Cornette managed him in the WWE. I will have to see what he has to say on Youtube... Todd C WTIC FURTHER EDIT: Oh yeah, had to add this: I kinda like it too. It was super stupid but wrestling can get boring if there isn't a little silliness involved. And I actually think he was a decent enough wrestler. Definitely looked like someone you wouldn't want to mess with, with or without the bull head on. Late to the party but I gotta say I would love booking mantaur as a monster heel. It was silly but in hindsight this was what I liked in wrestling

The right amount of comedy and honestly, if presented as a real threat, it might well have worked. There have been sillier gimmicks that got over.

Indy wrestler Van Christopher passed away at 32 FROM COASTAL WRESTLING FEDERATION The Coastal Wrestling Federation is devastated by the sudden loss of CWF Star Van Golston, a.k.a. Van Christopher. "D1" Van Christopher was a pillar of the CWF, a mainstay on its roster since its inception in 2017. His infectious smile, positive personality, and passion for entertaining the fans lit up not only the CWF locker room and ring, but every arena he stepped into. Van wasn't just the first ever CWF Breakout Champion, he was a champion of overcoming adversity. A champion of passion. A champion of excellence. A champion of decency. A champion of faith. Van Christopher was and ever will be, "Our Champion"

It was why I like Kamala, King Kong Bundy and One Man Gang to name a few.
