 Legendary Channel 10 weather presenter Ray Wilkie dead at 98 Brisbane 4BC radio host Spencer Howson announced the news on Saturday night, reporting that he had received the sorrowful information from Wilkie's son. Ray was also the sibling of Alan Wilkie, a distinguished Sydney meteorologist and TV weather presenter. |

 Rolf Harris dead: Disgraced star dies aged 93 after battle with neck cancer Australian-born Harris was a family favourite in the UK for decades before he was convicted of 12 indecent assaults at London’s Southwark Crown Court in June 2014. His victims included an eight-year-old autograph hunter, two girls in their early teens and his daughter’s friend over 16 years. Following his conviction, Harris, was stripped of his CBE – which he received after painting the Queen’s 80th birthday portrait. Harris was jailed for five years and nine months and released from Stafford prison on licence in May 2017. |

 TANK Founder ALGY WARD Dead At 63 Alasdair Mackie "Algy" Ward, founder and frontman of British metal legends TANK, has died at the age of 63. He reportedly passed away on May 17 at a hospital in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, United Kingdom after suffering from serious health issues for quite some time. "We formed a formidable songwriting team when I joined TANK in 1983 and recorded some great albums along the way and many shows with TANK and the Nicky Moore band who I joined in 1990 with Algy. |
