I've been messing around with the Play-by-Play Simulator and I noticed an issue with trying to simulate a tag team match. It seems that the PBP Simulator doesn't work for tag teams. I've tried at least two or three times to simulate a Miami Valley Pro Wrestling match between the Commonwealth (Myles Benedict and Andrew Collin) and the Samoan War Party (Ula and Ofo Sapani). Every time, the PBP Simulator treated the match (even if it was a 2/3 Falls match) as a one-on-one match between the top two wrestlers (in my example above, Myles Benedict and Ula) and totally ignored the tag team partners. Is anybody else experiencing this issue?

I never use the PBP Simulator (prefer the more hands-on experience of using the online game table), but I just ran a tag team match, New Age Outlaws vs. Mr Saito & Mr Fuji... It worked fine for me... All four men spent time actively in the match.
Mr Saito & Mr Fuji won the match... Saito pinned Kip James at the 38:18 mark following a second rope chop. Fatigue Recap -- Mr. Saito: 2 fatigue, Mr. Fuji: 4 fatigue, Kip James: 3 fatigue, B.G. James: 1 fatigue
The wrestlers that you're using are not officially in the game, so I'm wondering if it's an issue that only exists with created wrestlers.

Yeah only one of my created wrestlers appears in PBP so I can't test that. Shame.

Yeah... So, I just did a tag team PBP Sim using four created wrestlers and it worked just fine.

Just out of curiosity, barnestormer, do the two "top" wrestlers in that match have any defensive tags listed?

Just out of curiosity, barnestormer, do the two "top" wrestlers in that match have any defensive tags listed? Yes, all of them had defensive tags listed.

You can change the settings to allow for frequency of tags between true tag specialists and wrestlers who have never tagged together. HOWEVER, you have to be very careful using the PBP. There are several problems with using it - the main one is that it currently reads the Deathjump chart choice where agility or power are compared backwards. For example, it will show Rey Mysterio as winning a Power comparison vs Andre the Giant. Or Andre would win the Agility comparison against Rey. I'm not sure when this will get fixed. Also, many finishers that have complicated mechanics involved do not seem to work. When I use the PBP, I have to quickly go through the match readout and make sure it ran right

I use the simulator for my WGX fed which is all CACs (obviously) and I've done a lot of tag matches that end in 3 minutes with only one member of a team being in the match the whole time. It's frustrating. Usually, I just re-sim the match until I get a more "realistic" result.
The PBP simulator is a nice tool but has it's quirks. I only use it for lower card matches. All my main events or title matches I still use cards and dice.
