LWF Legacy of Gold 4.35 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event, Jerry Lynn vs. Jim Londos to determine the #1 contender to Bob Backlund’s LWF World Heavyweight title.
1. Kurt Angle vs. Tommy Gilbert Tommy Gilbert gets the jump on Angle and hits the running knee lift for a two count. Angle launches and explosive comeback and hits the Olympic Slam for a two count. Angle hits the moonsault for the win.
Winner - Kurt Angle by pinfall
After the match, Gordon Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Angle. Angle says it was a fluke that Curt Hennig beat him and he’ll take care of Hennig later if there’s anything left after Bob Backlund. Curt Hennig comes out in street clothes and says Angle will never beat him on his best day. Hennig throws his towel in Angle’s face and leaves. The show goes to commercial and returns with Disco Inferno dancing in front of One Man Gang.
2. Disco Inferno vs. One Man Gang The Gang tolerates Disco’s antics for a few minutes and drills him with a big right hand for a two count. Disco makes a comeback and hits a swinging neckbreaker for a two count. Gang makes a comeback and hits the 747 Splash for the win.

3. The Hillbillies vs. Big John Studd & King Kong Bundy Bundy and Jim start the match. Jim scoop slams Bundy right off the bat for a two count. Bundy tags in Studd and Jim scoop slams Studd for a two count! Jim tags in Cousin Luke and things go to hell. Studd clobbers Luke with a clothesline for a two count and tags in Bundy. Bundy crushes Luke with two Avalanches but Luke keeps putting his foot on the ropes. Bundy hits a big splash for the win.
Winners - Big John Studd & King Kong Bundy by pinfall
Ventura says Studd & Bundy are the only team in the LWF bigger than the champions. Solie introduces the main event.
4. Jerry Lynn vs. Jim Londos - #1 contender match Londos and Lynn battle back and forth. Lynn hits a DDT for a two count. Londos recovers and hits a crotch lift and slam and a fireman’s carry slam. Londos hits another fireman’s carry slam. Londos locks on the standing toehold. Lynn taps out.
Winner - Jim Londos by submission. Jim Londos will receive a shot at the LWF World Heavyweight title on Legacy of Gold 4.41.
Solie and Ventura sign off, telling fans to tune in next week for a rematch between Pepper Gomez and Dutch Mantell and the main event, The Miracle Violence Connection vs. The Blond Bombers with the LWF World Tag Team titles on the line!

LWF Legacy of Gold 4.36 Solie and Ventura welcome the fans to the show and plug Pepper Gomez vs. Dutch Mantell, as well as the main event of the Miracle Violence Connection vs. The Blond Bombers for the LWF World Tag Team titles.
1. Nick Bockwinkel vs. David Taylor Taylor works Bockwinkel over at the opening bell. Bockwinkel rolls him up in a small package for a two count. Bockwinkel hits a knee smash to the back and covers Taylor for the three count.
Winner - Nick Bockwinkel by pinfall
Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Bockwinkel. Bockwinkel says everyone should be convinced by now that he’s the next LWF World Heavyweight champion. He says Jerry Lynn came up short against Jim Londos last week because he doesn’t have the drive of a real champion. Jerry Lynn comes out of the crowd in street clothes and says he’ll wrestle Bockwinkel any time. Bockwinkel says for Lynn to make an appointment with his agent. Lynn decks Bockwinkel and Solie heads for the hills. The show goes to commercial and returns with Rick Rude and Brian Blair in the ring.
2. Rick Rude vs. Brian Blair Rude and Blair battle back and forth. Blair gives Rude some close calls but Rude turns things around and hits the Rude Awakening for the win.

Ventura puts over RIck Rude. Solie introduces the next match.
3. Pepper Gomez vs. Dutch Mantell Gomez and Mantell battle back and forth. Mantell slams Gomez into the ringpost outside the ring and rolls him back in. Mantell whips Gomez to the buckles and eats an elbow. Gomez rolls him up for a two count. Gomez hits a dropkick for a two count. Mantell makes a comeback and hits a backbreaker for a two count. Dutch hits the Double Dutch Clutch for the win.
Winner - Dutch Mantell by pinfall
After the match, Gomez gets on the mic and says he wants a rematch. Dutch says the only way he’ll wrestle Gomez again is in a bullwhip match. Gomez nods and decks Mantell. The two men roll around in the ring until security arrives.
Ventura says Gomez might be biting off more than he can chew since the bullwhip match is Dutch’s specialty. Solie and Ventura introduce the main event.
4. Miracle Violence Connection vs. Blond Bombers - LWF World Tag Team title match Gordy and Patterson start the match. Patterson takes Gordy down and hits the Bombs Away for a two count. Patterson wears Gordy down with a figure four and hits a throat drop on the ropes for a two count. Gordy makes a comeback and wears Patterson down with the STF. Gordy tags in Doc. Doc hits a press slam for a two count and throws Patterson out of the ring. Patterson and Doc battle on the outside and Patterson gets the upper hand. Patterson tags in Stevens. Stevens comes off the top but Doc catches him and power slams him for a two count. The Miracle Violence Connection knock Stevens out of his boots with double football tackle for at wo count. Gordy whips Stevens to the buckles and eats an elbow. Stevens covers him but Williams makes the save. The Bombers double team Gordy. Gordy and Patterson battle outside the ring. The referee catches Patterson nailing Gordy with a foreign object and calls for the bell.
Winners - The Miracle Violence Connection by DQ, their third title defense
Ventura and Solie sign off, telling the fans to tune in next time for Bob Backlund vs. Curt Hennig in a No DQ match for the LWF World Heavyweight title!

LWF Legacy of Gold 4.37 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event, Bob Backlund vs. Curt Hennig for the LWF World Heavyweight title. Solie announces that on Thursday, Nick Bockwinkel will take on Jerry Lynn and Terry Gordy will wrestle Pat Patterson. He also says the bullwhip match between Pepper Gomez and Dutch Mantell is scheduled for one week from tonight. Ventura introduces the first match.
1. Bobby Shane vs. Brickhouse Brown Shane hits a flying crossbody for a two count to start the match. Shane and Brickhouse battle back and forth. Brickhouse hits a series of dropkicks and covers Shane for a two count. Shane and Brown trade the advantage several times. Shane hits a knee smash to the head for a two count. Shane hits a bulldog for the win.
Winner - Bobby Shane by pinfall
Ventura puts over Bobby Shane. Solie introduces the next match.
2. Rich & Patterson vs. PG-13 Thunderbolt and Wolife start the match. T-Bolt quickly has Wolfie in trouble and hits a double chop to the neck for a two count. T-Bolt tags in Rich. Rich wears Wolfie down with a Wildfire Sleeper and hits a piledriver for a two count. Rich hits a Thez Press but JC Ice makes the save. Rich hits a big right uppercut and T-Bolt holds off Ice while the referee makes the three count.

Ventura puts over Rich and Patterson. Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Davey Boy Smith. Davey apologizes to the fans for not winning the Tokyo Cup and says he’s back on the right path and promises to beat Masked Superstar tonight! Solie heads back to the booth and Davey takes his corner.
3. Davey Boy Smith vs. Masked Superstar Davey throws Superstar all over the ring. Superstar makes a comeback and locks on the Cobra Hold but Davey powers out of it. Davey makes a comeback but Superstar turns things around and locks on the Cobra Hold a second time. Davey backs Superstar into the corner, forcing the break. Superstar hits the flying cross chop for the win.
Winner - Masked Superstar by pinfall
Ventura says the Superstar is a great wrestler and will be in the main event soon.
4. Backlund vs. Hennig - No DQ for the LWF World Heavyweight title Backlund and Hennig battle back and forth. Backlund takes Hennig to the mat and hits an Atomic Drop for a two count. Hennig makes a comeback and Backlund shuts him down with a Boston Crab. Hennig fights his way to the ropes. Backlund hits a backbreaker for a two count. Backlund locks on the crossface chickenwing and Hennig taps out.
Winner - Bob Backund by submission, his 26th title defense
Ventura and Solie sign off, telling the fans to tune in next time for Nick Bockwinkel vs. Jerry Lynn and Terry Gordy vs. Pat Patterson.

J-Lynn is still looking good, despite his loss to Londos... Looking forward to his upcoming match against Bock.
MVC appear to be on a roll... They're definitely a team that deserves their place at the top... The good times continue to roll!

LWF Legacy of Gold 4.38 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and plug Nick Bockwinkel vs. Jerry Lynn plus Terry Gordy vs. Pat Patterson. Solie leaves the booth to talk to Curt Hennig before the first match.
Hennig tells Gordon that he heard Kurt Angle running his mouth a few weeks ago and that he can beat Kurt Angle any night of his life and will fight him again and prove it. Hennig spits his gum out and slaps it into the crowd. Solie heads back to the booth.
1. Curt Hennig vs. George South Hennig whips South to the ropes and turns him inside out with a clothesline. Hennig hits the Hennig Plex for the win.
Winner - Curt Hennig by pinfall
Ventura puts over Curt Hennig but wonders if he’s taking Kurt Angle too lightly. Solie introduces the next match.
2. Patterson & Rich vs. The Vachons Patterson and Mad Dog start the match. Mad Dog nails Patterson with a running knee lift for a two count. Mad Dog hits the jumping knee drop for a two count and tags in Butcher. Mad Dog knocks RIch off the apron and Butcher hits a big splash for the three count.

As Gordy works over Patterson, Ventura reminds the fans that Terry Gordy beat Lou Thesz for the LWF World Heavyweight title at the beginning of the 6:05 era. Patterson takes control of the match but can’t seem to hurt Bamm Bamm. Gordy takes over and whips Patterson to the buckles. Patterson dodges a turnbuckle charge and covers Gordy for a two count. Patterson wears Gordy down with a figure four and a Boston Crab. Patterson locks on the figure four again and Gordy taps out.

Patterson refuses to release the hold and Steve Williams hits the ring. Williams crushes Patterson with a lariat and hits a gruesome backdrop driver. Patterson has to be helped to the back.

LWF Legacy of Gold 4.39 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and hype Pepper Gomez vs. Dutch Mantell in a bullwhip match. Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Blackjack before the first match.
Mulligan says he’s had some setbacks but hasn’t given up on a earning a shot at the LWF World Heavyweight title yet. Disco Inferno dances his way down to ringside and Mulligan adjusts his glove and takes his corner.
1. Blackjack Mulligan vs. Disco Inferno Disco slaps Blackjack in the face and hits the jumping facebuster for a two count. Blackjack makes a comeback and steamrolls Disco. Blackjack hits a knee to the gut for a two count. Blackjack locks on the Blackjack Claw for the win.
Winner - Blackjack Mulligan by submission
Ventura says Mulligan needed that win. Solie introduces the next match.
2. One Man Gang vs. Gorilla Monsoon Monsoon and Gang collide. Monsoon gets the upper hand and hits the Manchurian Landslide for a two count. Gang and Gorilla battle back and forth. Gorilla muscles Gang up in the giant swing, wearing him down. Gang gets control but Gorilla dodges a turnbuckle charge and covers Gang for a two count. Gorilla hits a second Manchurian Landslide for the win.

Gang attacks Gorilla after the match and hits a 747 Splash. Gang continues attacking until Blackjack Mulligan comes from the back to make the save. Monsoon has to be helped to the back. Mulligan and Gang shove each other back and forth until security arrives.
Ventura says Monsoon needed that win but it might not be worth the cost. Solie introduces the next match.
3. The Mulkeys vs. Studd & Bundy Randy and Studd start the match. Randy gets in some offense but Studd smashes him to the mat and tags in Bundy. Randy makes a comeback and gets in some offense on Bundy. Randy tags in Bill and Bill looks terrified. Bundy squashes Bill and locks on the bear hug. Bill taps out.

Ventura puts over Studd & Bundy and predicts they’ll be the World Tag Team champions before the end of the year. Solie introduces the main event.
4. Pepper Gomez vs. Dutch Mantell - bullwhip match Gomez gets the whip at the opening bell and whips the hell out Mantell. Gomez hits the windup punch to the stomach for a two count. Gomez and Mantell battle back and forth. Mantell makes a comeback and he and Gomez battle over the whip. Gomez gets the whip and whips Mantell bloody. Mantell makes a comeback and grabs the whip. Mantell whips Gomez to the mat and covers him for a two count. Mantell and Gomez battle back and forth, whipping each other senseless. Mantell whips Gomez to the mat and covers him for a two count. Dutch whips Gomez to the mat.Gomez hits the Mexican Leap and follows it with the Mexican Cradle for the win.

1. Les Thatcher vs. Angelo Mosca Mosca overpowers Thatcher and throws him all over the ring. Thatcher hits a series of dropkicks for a two count. Mosca tackles Thatcher to turn things around and nails him with an elbow smash to the face. Mosca and Thatcher battle back and forth. Mosca hits a tackle for a two count. Thatcher rolls up Mosca in a small package for the win.
Winner - Les Thatcher by pinfall
Solie puts over Les Thatcher. Ventura says he got lucky and introduces the next match.
2. One Man Gang vs. Mike Jackson Jackson gets in some offense and even has the One Man Gang on the mat at one point. Ventura says this must be Jackson’s hometown. Gang turns things around and hits a scoop slam for a two count. Gang beats up Jackson on the outside and Jackson is nearly counted out. Gang drags him back into the ring by the hair and goes for the 747 Splash. Jackson rolls out of the way and goes on the attack! Jackson makes the mistake of brawling with One Man Gang outside the ring and pays the price. Gang hits the 747 Splash for the win.

Solie leaves the booth to get a word with One Man Gang before the next match. Gang runs down Blackjack Mulligan, calling him a washed up, nosey old woman. Mulligan confronts Gang and Rick Rude sneak attacks him while he’s getting in Gang’s face. Rude and Gang manhandle Mulligan into the ring.
3. Rick Rude vs. Blackjack Mulligan Rude works on Mulligan’s neck, hitting three swinging neckbreakers. Rude whips Mulligan to the buckles and ends up outside the ring. Mulligan slings him back into the ring by the hair. Mulligan locks on the Blackjack Claw and Rude taps out.

Mulligan invades the broadcast booth and tells One Man Gang he’s coming for him and it’ll either be in the ring or in the parking lot.
Ventura and Solie put over Blackjack Mulligan and introduce the main event.
4. Miracle Violence Connection Vs. Blond Bombers - No DQ match for the LWF World Tag Team title Gordy and Patterson start the match. Gordy nearly takes Patterson’s head off with a lariat and hits a powerbomb for a two count. Gordy tags in Williams and the MVC nail Patterson with a double football tackle for a two count. Gordy hits a Bamm Bamm Slam for a two count and tags Williams back in. Williams hits the Oklahoma Stampede but Patterson gets his foot on the ropes. The MVC hit another double football tackle. Gordy hits another Bamm Bamm Slam but Stevens breaks the pin. Williams throws Patterson to the outside and Patterson hits a low blow and rolls him into the ring. Patterson hits the bombs away for a two count and tags in Stevens. Stevens hits the crippling piledriver for a two count and goes to the top rope. Doc lariats him out of the air and hits the backdrop driver for the win.
Winners - MIracle VIolence Connection by pinfall, their fourth title defense.

LWF Legacy of Gold 4.41 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and hype the return match between Curt Hennig and Kurt Angle. They also plug the main event of Bob Backlund vs. Jim Londos for the LWF World Heavyweight title. Ventura reminds the viewers that Londos recently defended the USA Wrestling American Heritage belt eleven times and has fourteen defense reigns with the AWF Heavyweight title and the old LWF Heavyweight title so this won’t be a cakewalk for Backlund.
Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Pepper Gomez before the first match. Gomez is fired up and says he’s gunning for another shot at the LWF World Heavyweight title. Disco Inferno, Gomez’s opponent, sneaks up on him and attacks him. Solie scrambles back to the booth.

Studd gets some momentum going and hoists Windham up into a backbreaker but Windham escapes the hold. Studd tags in Bundy and Bundy crushes Windham with the Avalanche for a two count. Bundy punishes Windham. Windham rolls him up with a small package for a two count. WIndham tags in Rotundo. Rotundo and Windham double body slam Bundy. Windham holds off Studd while the referee makes the three count.
Winners - US Express by pinfall
Ventura says the babyfaces should have been disqualified for double teaming Bundy. Solie introduces the next match.
3. Kurt Angle vs. Curt Hennig Angle gets the early advantage but Hennig turns things around and hits a standing dropkick for a two count. Hennig and Angle battle back and forth. Angle goes for a flying body press but Hennig rolls through and hooks the leg for a two count. Hennig hits the Hennig Plex for the win.

Hennig gets on the mic and demands a shot at the winner of tonight’s main event. Ventura and Solie put Hennig over but say he can’t just waltz into a third LWF World Heavyweight title match. Ventura and Solie introduce the big main event.
4. Bob Backlund vs. Jim Londos - LWF World Heavyweight title Londos and Backlund battle back and forth. Londos hits a crotch lift and slam but Backlund is quickly back on his feet. Backlund makes a comeback but Londos shuts him down with a small package for a two count. Londos locks on a Boston Crab but Backlund fights his way to the ropes. Backlund and Londs battle back and forth. Backlund makes a comeback and hits a piledriver for a two count. Londos turns things around with another small package for a two count. Londos wears Backlund down with an airplane spin and dumps him in the middle of the ring. Londos hits another fireman’s carry slam. Londos hoists Backlund up in the airplane spin and dumps him in the middle of the ring. He hooks the leg for the three count.
Winner - Jim Londos by pinfall! Jim Londos is the NEW LWF World Heavyweight champion!
Backlund and Londos embrace after the match. Backlund hands Londos the big gold belt. He takes the mic and says it’s been a long road but he’s glad the fans traveled it with him. He’s going to take some time off but he’ll be back.
The show goes off the air with the crowd chanting Backlund’s name as he leaves the ringside area. Jim Londos stands on the second turnbuckle, big gold belt held high overhead.
