Londos making history by ending Backlund's epic title reign... Very cool! I guess I assumed Bob would roll over him. It wasn't even close, though. Londos owned his ass. Londos is an absolute master at wearing down his opponents during those matches that last a little longer than usual... The PIN 4(1) rating... Add 1 moves on L2O and L3O... Along with that finisher mechanic... Honestly, from a stats perspective, I think it's one of the most cleverly laid out cards in the game. Hmmmm... Another potential Shop Talk topic. Hoping he gets a decent run with your title. Fingers crossed!

LWF Legacy of Gold 4.42 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event of Blackjack Mulligan vs. The One Man Gang. They also congratulate Jim Londos on winning the LWF World Heavyweight title and announce that Monday’s episode will feature Curt Hennig vs. Pepper Gomez to determine who is the #1 contender. Ventura introduces the first match.
1. Masked Superstar vs. George South Superstar turns South inside out with a clothesline and nails him with a head butt for a two count. Superstar hits a swinging neckbreaker for the win.
Winner - Masked Superstar by pinfall
Ventura puts over the Masked Superstar. Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Angle. Angle talks about how he’s been in a slump but he also won the Olympics with a broken freakin’ neck! Angleo Mosca ambushes Angle and the two men brawl into the crowd. Solie scrambles back to the booth. Mosca cracks Angle in the back of the neck with an elbow smash. Angle has to be stretchered out.
2. Angelo Mosca vs. Kurt Angle Winner - No Contest
Solie reminds the audience of Angle’s history of neck problems. Ventura says tough break and introduces the next match.
3. Blond Bombers vs. The Hillbillies Patterson and Cousin Luke start the match. Patterson and Luke battle back and forth. Patterson gets some momentum going and hits the Bombs Away for a two count. Patterson tags in Stevens. Stevens hits a Bombs Away for a two count. Stevens hits another Bombs Away for a two count and tags in Patterson. Patterson wears down Luke with a Figure Four and drills him with a foreign object. Stevens holds off Hillbilly Jim while the referee makes the three count.
Winners - The Blond Bombers by pinfall
Ventura puts over the Blond Bombers and wonders if they’ll be able to beat the Miracle Violence Connection next time, if there is a next time. Solie introduces the main event.
4. Blackjack Mulligan vs. One Man Gang Gang attacks Mulligan before the bell and squashes him in the corner. Gang goes for the 747 but Mulligan rolls out of the way. Mulligan clamps on the Blackjack Claw but Gang fights him off. Mulligan hits a big boot to the face and clamps on the Claw a second time but Gang grabs the ropes. Mulligan works Gang over and locks on the Claw a third time but still can’t Gang away. Gang makes a comeback and hits a scoop slam for a two count. Gang and Mulligan battle outside the ring and Mulligan comes out on top. Mulligan can’t follow up and Gang regains the momentum. Gang hits a corner splash for a two count. Mulligan and Gang battle back and forth. Gang hits the face first suplex for a two count. One Man Gang hits the 747 Splash but Mulligan gets his foot on the ropes before the three count. Mulligan makes a comeback and clobbers Gang with a lariat for a two count. Mulligan locks on the Blackjack Claw a fourth time and One Man Gang taps out.
Winner - Blackjack Mulligan by submission
Ventura and Solie sign off, telling fans to tune in next week when Curt Hennig takes on Pepper Gomez to determine the #1 contender to the LWF World Heavyweight title.

LWF Legacy of Gold 4.43 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event of Curt Hennig vs. Pepper Gomez to determine who will receive the next shot at Jim Londos and the LWF World Heavyweight title.
Solie leaves the booth to have a word with Rick Rude. Rude says he’s through playing nice and he’s going to win that LWF World Heavyweight title by any means necessary. Rude takes his corner and waits for his opponent. Solie returns to the booth.
1. Les Thatcher vs. Rick Rude Thatcher and Rude battle back and forth. Rude gets some momentum going with a suplex and hits a Rude Awakening but Thatcher gets his foot on the ropes. Thatcher makes a comeback but Rude hits a swinging neckbreaker for the win.
Winner - Rick Rude by pinfall
Ventura says it’s good to see Rude on the right track. Solie introduces the next match.
2. Midnight Express with Jim Cornette vs. The Mulkeys Bobby Eaton and Bill Mulkey start the match. Cornette leaves ringside and joins Ventura and Solie in the broadcast booth. Cornette tells the LWF audience that his team, the Midnight Express, will win the World Tag Team titles by the time the Golden Gate Cup rolls around. Eaton hits the divorce court and nearly gets Bill to tap out. Eaton tags in Condrey. Condrey hits the face first leg sweep for the win.
Winners - The Midnight Express by pinfall
Cornette says it was great talking to everyone and puts over the Midnight Express. Ventura introduces the next match.
3. Nick Bockwinkel vs. Dan Severn Bockwinkel takes the fight to Severn and quickly locks on the Bockwinkel Sleeper. Severn escapes the hold. Bockwinkel works over Severn and locks on the Bockwinkel Sleeper a second time for the win.
Winner - Nick Bockwinkel by submission
Ventura puts over Bockwinkel and says he’ll be in that #1 contender spot sometime soon. Solie introduces the next match.
4. Curt Hennig vs. Pepper Gomez - #1 contender Gomez gets the upper hand early on and locks on the sleeper, wearing Hennig down. Hennig turns things around and hits the Hennig Plex for a two count. Hennig locks on the sleeper and Gomez taps out.
Winner - Curt Hennig by submission. Curt Hennig will battle Jim Londos on Legacy of Gold 4.45 one week from tonight!
