Oh, snap! What a ride! Upsets abound, throwing this year's Muchnik Cup tournament into absolute mayhem! Honestly, I got tired of trying to promote Gama as the machine that I felt he should be... He always posted respectable W/L numbers, but couldn't quite get over with consistency... Really tough competitors like Race, Thesz, Savage, Brody, etc. always seemed to have his number. The real shock for me was Studd taking out Jack B in the opening round... Well, that AND Konnan eating everything that was put on his plate... Those dice made some intriguing booking decisions... Excited to see where this all leads, my friend... Play on! Gama is on double secret probation. He tends to choke for me in big matches. I never would have guessed Konnan would have won when I was putting the tournament together. I also never would have guessed Jim Brunzell taking out Muraco AND Gama. Looks like it's time to make some LEMONADE! π€¨ππππ

I was thinking of pushing Brunzell to the moon but I'm going to reunite the Killer Bees instead. For now...
Since I'm doing a 104 card year for season 4, I'm planning on doing tournaments after card 26, 52, and 78

Very cool that Gama was able to bounce back from his disappointing performance in the Muchnik Cup tournament... That being said, it looks like Eric the Red gave him an honest run for his money... At this point in time, I gotta think that wrestlers are lining up around the block for a chance to go one-on-one with the Great One... After all, a victory over someone with his reputation would be a brilliant way to elevate anyone's status.
And it's too bad that Inoki lost in the main event... I know you're trying to give him a push, but the bookers don't appear to be cooperating... Iron Sheik is a highly underrated talent, imo... He's always done fairly well for me.
Enjoying this new season so far, my friend... Fun times!

Inoki just doesn't want to win for you.
Good to see Gama on the winning side though.

Wish Patterson would do this well for me. Patterson knows it's back to the abysmal tag team scene if he messes up
