Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show. Solie says that Jim Cornette has emphatically denied that the Midnight Express will give the Briscoes a shot at the LWF World Tag Team titles. The LWF Executive Committee is reviewing the matter. Ventura and Solie plug the main event of William Muldoon vs. Antonio Inoki. Solie introduces the first match.

1. Magnum & Hacksaw vs. The Mulkeys
Hacksaw JIm Duggan and Randy Mulkey start the match. Hacksaw pounds Mulkey to the mat and tags in Magnum. Magnum hits the belly to belly suplex for the win.

Ventura loves Magnum TA’s intensity but isn’t sure about Duggan. Solie introduces the next match.

2. Hugh Morris vs. SD Jones
Morris quickly hits No Laughing Matter for the win.

Ventura says Morris needs a manager to guide him. Solie introduces the next match.

3. 2 Cold Scorpio Vs. Alexis Smirnoff
Smirnoff overpowers Scorpio and hits the heart punch but Scorpio gets his foot on the ropes. Smirnoff hits a piledriver for a two count. Scorpio makes a comeback and hits a flying body press from the top for the win.

Ventura says he knew Scorpio had it in him. Solie leaves the ring to get a word with Les Thatcher. Thatcher says Harley Race is the biggest challenge of his career so far. Race attacks Thatcher from behind and hits a big suplex. Solie flees the scene and the referee calls for the bell.

4. Harley Race vs. Les Thatcher
Thatcher fights from underneath. Race shuts him down and hits the piledriver but Thatcher kicks out. Thatcher makes a comeback but can’t hold the momentum. Race turns things aroudn and hits a piledriver but Thatcher gets his foot on the ropes. Race and Thatcher battle outside the ring. Thatcher comes out on top but can’t hold the momentum. Race locks on the Indian Deathlock but Thatcher fights his way to the ropes. Thatcher makes a comeback and locks on the stump puller! Race fights his way out of the hold. Thatcher locks on the stump puller a second time and Race taps out!

Winner - Les Thatcher by submission!

Harley grabs the mic from Gary Michael Cappetta and challenges Thatcher to a rematch on Monday. Race says he’ll leave town if Thatcher can beat him again. Thatcher accepts the challenge.

Solie and Ventura are blown away by Thatcher’s upset victory. Ventura introduces the next match.

5. Brunzell & Mulligan vs. McGuinness & Taylor
Mulligan and Taylor start the match. Taylor and Mulligan battle back and forth. Taylor hits a bear hug to atomic drop for a two count. Taylor hits the British Suplex for a two count and tags in Nigel. Nigel hits the Tower of London and throws Mulligan out of the ring. Nigel beats up Mulligan on the outside and hits him with his iron but the referee lets him go. Nigel rolls Mulligan into the ring and nails him with the Jawbreaker Lariat for a two count. Nigel tags in Taylor. Mulligan makes a comeback and tags in Brunzell. Taylor turns things back around and hits the British Suplex for a two count. Taylor wears down Brunzell with the Dragon Sleeper and tags in Nigel. Nigel hits the Tower of London and nails Brunzell with the Jawbreaker Lariat for a two count. Nigel and Brunzell battle outside the ring. Brunzell grabs Nigel’s iron and nails him with it. The referee calls for the bell.

Inoki and Muldoon battle back and forth. Muldoon hits the flying head mare for a two count. Muldoon wears Inoki down with the double shoulder lock. Muldoon and Inoki grapple back and forth. Muldoon wears Inoki down with the hammerlock and ½ nelson. Muldoon wears Inoki down with the double shoulder lock. Inoki makes a comeback and hits the belly to back suplex for a two count. Muldoon turns things back around and wears Inoki down with the double shoulder lock. Inoki and Muldoon battle back and forth. Muldoon wears Inoki down with the hammerlock and half nelson. 1. Magnum & Hacksaw vs. PG-13
Magnum and Wolfie start the match. Magnum clobbers Wolfie and hits the belly to belly suplex but JC Ice makes the save. Magnum tags in Hacksaw. Hacksaw drills Wolfie with the flying spear for the win.

Ventura puts over Magnum & Hacksaw. Solie introduces the next match.

2. William Muldoon vs. Mr Fuji
Muldoon and Fuji battle back and forth. Muldoon wears Fuji down with the hammerlock and half nelson. Muldoon takes a beating but is soon back in the driver’s seat and wears down Fuji with another hammerlock and half nelson. Fuji unloads on Muldoon but Muldoon takes it and wears Fuji down with the double shoulder lock. Fuji makes a comeback but missed a turnbuckle charge and Muldoon rolls him up for a two count. Muldoon locks on the double shoulder lock but Fuji fights his way to the ropes. Muldoon hits the body lift and throw for the win.

3. Stevie Richards vs. Al Snow
Snow takes a beating from Stevie in the opening minutes. Snow turns things around and hits the arm trap and head butts for a two count. Richards tries making a comeback but Snow shuts him down and hits a huracanrana for a two count. Snow rocks Richards with the arm trap and head butts again but can’t get the three count. Snow hits the Snow Plow for the win.

Ventura says Al Snow has been quietly racking up wins. Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Harley Race. Harley reiterates that he will leave the territory if Les Thatcher beats him a second time. Harley calmly takes his corner and waits for Thatcher.

Race and Thatcher battle back and forth. Race locks on the Indian Deathlock but Thatcher fights his way to the ropes. Race hits a vertical suplex for a two count. Thatcher tries to get a comeback started but Race hits a swinging neckbreaker for a two count. Race hits a piledriver for a two count. Race hits a second piledriver for the win.

Costello and Gilbert start the match. Costello out grapples Gilbert and hits the Australian Backdrop for a two count. Costello wears Gilbert down with the Chinese Rack and the Kangaroos hit the Kangaroo Leap.Gilbert makes a comeback and hits the second rope knee drop for a two count. Gilbert tags in Monroe. Rich and Bockwinkel battle back and forth. Rich hits a big right uppercut for a two count. Rich wears Bockwinkel down with the Wildfire Sleeper. The match spills out of the ring and Rich hits a suplex on the concrete. Bockwinkel is nearly counted out! Rich wears Bockwinkel down with the Wildfire Sleeper and hits a piledriver for a two count! Rich locks on the Wildfire Sleeper again but Bockwinkel is able to reach the ropes. Bockwinkel and Rich battle on the outside. Rich hits a piledriver and Bockwinkel is counted out.

Winner - Tommy Rich by count out. Bockwinkel retains the title, his ninth title defense, tying the reigns of Harley Race and Lou Thesz.

Solie and Ventura sign off, telling the fans to tune in next week when the Midnight Express defend the LWF World Tag Team titles against The Vachons.

Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event of The Midnight Express vs. The Vachons for the LWF World Tag Team titles. Sole announces that a rematch between Nick Bockwinkel and Tommy Rich has been signed for Monday. Insiders are predicting a title change. Ventura introduces the first match.

1. Tully Blanchard vs. SD Jones
Tully and SD battle back and forth. Tully gets some momentum going and hits the slingshot suplex for the win.

Ventura says Blanchard needed that win. Solie introduces the next match.

2. 2 Cold Scorpio vs. Manny Fernandez
Scorpio unloads on Fernandez and nails him with the tumbleweed. Scorpio hits three more tumbleweeds. Fernandez tries mounting a comeback but Scorpio shuts him down and hits the Diss That Don’t Miss for the win.

Ventura says Scorpio may be on the rise. Sole introduces the next match.

3. Brunzell & Mulligan vs. McGuinness & Taylor
Brunzell and Taylor start the match. Brunzell and Taylor grapple back and forth. Taylor hits the British Suplex for a two count. Taylor hits a second British Suplex and tags in Nigel. Nigel nails Brunzell with the Jawbreaker Lariat but Mulligan makes the save. Nigel throws Brunzell out of the ring and the two men brawl into the crowd. Morris bulldozes Disco. Morris goes to the top rope and Disco throws him to the mat. Disco hits the Last Dance but it isn’t enough to put Morris away. Disco hits the Last Dance a second time but Morris gets his foot on the ropes. Morris makes a comeback and hits No Laughing Matter but Disco kicks out. Disco makes a comeback and goes to the top rope but Morris throws him to the mat and hits No Laughing Matter for a two count. Morris hits a power bomb but Disco kicks out. Morris hits No Laughing Matter for the win.

Ventura says Morris earned that one. Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Windham. Windham is fired up and gunning for the winner of Nick Bockwinkel vs. Tommy Rich. Windham paces back and forth like a panther waiting for his opponent. Solie retreats to the booth.

5. Barry Windham vs. Cowboy Bob Orton
Windham and Orton battle back and forth. Orton suplexes Windham on the concrete and he’s nearly counted out. Windham makes a comeback and nails Orton with the Lariat for a two count. Windham hits another Lariat and the Sweetwater Superplex but Orton kicks out at two. Windham hits another Lariat for the win.

Solie says Windham has a good chance to dethrone Nick Bockwinkel. Ventura introduces the main event.

6. Midnight Express vs. The Vachons - LWF World Tag Team title match
Condrey and Butcher start the match. Condrey and Butcher battle back and forth. Condrey suplexes Butcher across Eaton’s knee and takes out Mad Dog while the referee makes the three count.

Winners - The Midnight Express by pinfall, their second title defense

Cornette gets on the mic and says the Briscoes have a lot of nerve interrupting the tag team champions. The Midnight Express don’t invade the chicken farm where the Briscoes work. The Briscoes come out from under the ring and lay out the Midnight Express and Jim Cornette with chairs. The Briscoes hold the LWF World Tag Team title belts high overhead as Ventura and Solie sign off, telling the fans to tune in Monday for the rematch between Nick Bockwinkel and Tommy Rich for the LWF World Heavyweight title.

Glad you're feeling better. I could see Angle teaming with Danielson eventually but I'd have to have them wrestle each other a couple more times first.
