LWF Legacy of Gold 4.87 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event of Nick Bockwinkel vs. Tommy Rich for the LWF World Heavyweight title. Ventura and Solie introduce the first match.
1. Stars & Stripes vs. Too Cool Bagwell and Taylor start the match. Bagwell and Patriot nail Taylor with the double shoulder tackle. The Patriot hits a power slam for a two count and tags in Bagwell. Bagwell whips Scotty to the Buckles and eats a boot. Taylor hits the Worm for a two count and tags in Christopher. Christopher hits a DDT and covers Bagwell. Taylor holds off the Patriot while the referee makes the three count.

Ventura says he feels bad for Stars & Stripes but not that bad. Solie introduces the next match.
2. Fritz Von Goering vs. Brickhouse Brown Von Goering and Brown battle back and forth. Brown hits a series of dropkicks for a two count. Brown hits a flying body press for the win.

Ventura puts over the big win by Brickhouse. Solie introduces the next match.
3. Antonio Inoki vs. Dutch Mantell Inoki and Mantell battle back and forth. Inoki hits a belly to back suplex for a two count. Inoki nails Mantell with the Enzuigiri for the win.

After the match, Dutch attacks Inoki with the bullwhip and chokes him with it until security arrives. The show goes to commercial break. When it returns, Solie is in the ring with Randy Savage. Savage says Barry Windham has a lot of nerve demanding a title match when he’s never beaten the Macho Man. Macho Man says he’ll wrestle Windham and they’ll see who deserves that title shot. Solie heads back to the booth and Savage circles the ring like a wild animal.
4. Randy Savage vs. Steve Corino Savage tears into Corino and hits the double axe handle from the top to the floor. Savage rolls Corino into the ring and covers him for a two count. Savage hits the flying elbow smash for the win.

Ventura says the Macho Man is going to be tough to stop. Solie introduces the next match.
5. The Briscoes vs. The Texas Hangmen Jay and Killer start the match. Killer overpowers Jay. The Briscoes hit a high elevation hip toss for a two count. Mark hits the Cut Throat Driver for the win.
Winners - The Briscoes by pinfall
After the match, Jay gets on the mic and says the Midnight Express can’t run from the Briscoes forever. Ventura and Solie introduce the main event.
6. Nick Bockwinkel with Bobby Heenan vs. Tommy Rich - LWF World Heavyweight title match Bockwinkel goes after Rich’s leg like a shark at the opening bell. Bockwinkel hits a piledriver for a two count. Bockwinkel locks on the Bockwinkel Sleeper but Rich fights his way to the ropes. Bockwinkel locks on the Bockwinkel Sleeper a second time for the win.
Winner - Nick Bockwinkel by submission, his tenth title defense
Solie and Ventura sign off, telling the fans to tune in next time for Barry Windham vs. Randy Savage to determine the #1 contender to the LWF World Heavyweight title.

LWF Legacy of Gold 4.88 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event, Barry Windham vs. Randy Savage to determine the #1 contender to the LWF World Heavyweight title. Ventura announces that on Monday, Nick Bockwinkel and Tommy Rich are locking up one last time in a cage match for the LWF World Heavyweight title. Sole introduces the main event.
1. Too Cool vs. PG-13 Christopher and JC Ice start the match. IC and Christopher battle back and forth. Ice nails Christoper with a DDT for a two count. PG-13 smash Christopher with the hub cap for a two count. Christopher hits a small package on JC Ice for a two count. Christopher tags in Taylor. Taylor hits a back suplex and covers JC Ice but Wolfie makes the save. Scottie goes for the Worm but JC gets his knees up. JC tags in Wolfie and PG-13 hit the tilt a whirl for the win.
Winners - PG-13 by pinfall
Ventura says PG-13 finally snuck out with a win. Solie introduces the next match
2. Dan Spivey vs. Brickhouse Brown Spivey overpowers Brickhouse and hits a powerbomb for a two count. Spivey hits the Spivey Spike for the win.

Ventura says Spivey has had some big wins as of late but needs to be more consistent. Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Steve Williams. Williams says Hugh Morris is just the next name he’ll plant on the mat on his way to the LWF World Heavyweight title. Morris attacks Williams from behind and Solie high tails it back to the broadcast booth.
3. Steve Williams vs. Hugh Morris Morris hits a back suplex but Williams pops up and blasts him with a lariat. Williams hits the Oklahoma Stampede for a two count. Morris comes back and hits a power bomb for a two count. Morris hits a flying body press from the top for a two count. Williams makes a comeback and hits another Oklahoma Stampede for a two count. Doc hits a Doctor Bomb for a two count. Morris makes a comeback and hits No Laughing Matter but Williams kicks out. Morris hits four power bombs and hits No Laughing Matter for the win.

4. Les Thatcher vs. 2 Cold Scorpio Thatcher and Scorpio grapple back and forth. Thatcher hits a series of dropkicks for a two count. Thatcher locks on the Stump Puller but Scorpio fights his way out of the hold. Thatcher goes to the top and Scorpio throws him to the mat. Scorpio hits the Diss that Don’t Miss for a two count. Scorpio hits two Tumbleweeds but can’t put Thatcher away. Scorpio hits a moonsault on the floor and Thatcher is counted out.

Ventura says Scorpio’s unorthodox style won out that time. Solie introduces the next match.
5. Brunzell & Mulligan vs. McGuinness & Taylor - No DQ Blackjack and Nigel start the match. Blackjack and Nigel battle back and forth. Blackjack hits a boot to the face for a two count. Nigel and Blackjack brawl on the floor. Nigel hits the Jawbreaker Lariat for a two count. Nigel tags in Taylor. Taylor and Blackjack brawl on the floor and Blackjack comes out on top. Blackjack wears Taylor down with the Blackjack Claw and tags in Brunzell. Brunzell hits the High Flying Dropkick but Nigel makes the save. Brunzell hits a second high flying dropkick but Nigel again breaks the pin. Brunzell tags in Mulligan. Mulligan locks on the Blackjack Claw and Taylor taps out.

6. Barry Windham vs. Randy Savage - #1 contender Savage and Windham battle all over the ring area. Savage gets some momentum going and hits the flying elbow smash but Windham gets his foot on the ropes. Windham makes a comeback and blasts Savage with a lariat for the win.

Ventura and Solie sign off, telling the fans to tune in next time for the big steel cage match between Nick Bockwinkel and Tommy Rich for the LWF World Heavyweight title.

I'd be lying if I didn't say I'm a little disappointed... Was really looking forward to Macho Man wearing the gold... However, I think Windham has the tools to give Bock as tough a challenge as he's faced so far... Good times!

LWF Legacy of Gold 4.89 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event of Nick Bockwinkel vs. Tommy Rich inside a 15 foot high steel cage with the LWF World Heavyweight title on the line. Ventura introduces the first match.
1. Magnum & Hacksaw vs. The Texas Hangmen Hacksaw and Psycho start the match. Hacksaw knocks Psycho all over the ring. Psycho makes a comeback and the Hangmen hit the Hangmen Backbreaker for the win.
Winners - The Texas Hangmen by pinfall
Ventura says the Hangmen were due for a win. Solie introduces the next match.
2. Cowboy Bob Orton vs. Lord Zoltan Orton and Zoltan battle back and forth. Orton hits a superplex but Zoltan gets his foot on the ropes. Zoltan makes a comeback and nails Orton with a foreign object. Zoltan covers Orton but can’t get the three count. Zoltan locks on the triangle death grip but Orton fights his way to the ropes. Zoltan hits a big splash for a two count. Orton makes a comeback and hits a superplex for the win.
Winner - Cowboy Bob Orton by pinfall
Ventura says Lord Zoltan is a career killer but it wasn’t the case this time. Solie introduces the next match.
3. Tully Blanchard vs. Disco Inferno Tully goes to work on Disco and hits the slingshot suplex for a two count. Tully nails Disco with a foreign object and hits another slingshot suplex for the win.

Ventura says Blanchard is doing great but needs to wrestle some tougher opponents. Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Brody & Mosca before the next match. Brody and Mosca say they’ll run over Studd & Kowalski and take a crack at the LWF World Tag Team champions. Mosca and Brody take their corner and Solie returns to the booth.
4. Brody & Mosca vs. Studd & Kowalski Mosca and Studd start the match. Studd and Mosca battle back and forth. Studd hoists Mosca up in the backbreaker but Brody makes the save. Studd tags in Kowalski. Kowalski wears Mosca down with the giant swing. Kowalski hits two bombs away knee drops for the win.

5. Antonio Inoki vs. Dutch Mantell Mantell works over Inoki in the opening minutes. Dutch eats Inoki’s elbow in the corner and Inoki blasts him with an Enzuigiri for a two count. Inoki locks on the Octopus Hold but Dutch is able to reach the ropes. Inoki locks on the Octopus Hold a second time and Dutch taps out.
Winner - Antonio Inoki by submission
Ventura says Inoki is near the top of the list of challengers for the LWF World Heavyweight title. Solie introduces the main event, saying that this is Tommy Rich’s last title shot while Bockwinkel is champion so he’d better make it count.
6. Bockwinkel vs. Rich - Cage match for the LWF World Heavyweight title. Bobby Heenan distracts Tommy Rich as he enters the cage and Bockwinkel slams Rich’s head repeatedly inside the door of the cage. The bell rings. Bockwinkel goes on the attack, slamming Rich’s face into the cage and locking on the Bockwinkel Sleeper, wearing him down. Bockwinkel locks on the Bockwinkel Sleeper for the win.
Winner - Nick Bockwinkel by submission, his eleventh title defense, tying Vader’s second reign as LWF World Heavyweight Champion.
Rich has to be stretchered out Ventura and Solie sign off, telling the fans to tune in next time for Harley Race vs. William Muldoon and The Midnight Express defending the gold against Jim Brunzell & Blackjack Mulligan!

LWF Legacy of Gold 4.90 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and announce that Tommy Rich is being treated at a local medical facility following Monday’s brutal match with Nick Bockwinkel. It is unknown when he’ll return to action at this time. Ventura and Solie plug the main event of The Midnight Express vs. Blackjack Mulligan vs. Jim Brunzell for the LWF World Heavyweight title. Ventura introduces the first match.
1. Magnum & Hacksaw vs. Studd & Kowalski Magnum and Studd start the match. Magnum throws Studd out of the ring and suplexes him on the concrete. Studd is nearly counted out. Magnum hits the belly to belly suplex but Studd kicks out. Magnum tags in Hacksaw. Hacksaw nails Studd with the flying spear for a two count. Hacksaw hits a body slam for a two count and tags in Magnum. Magnum hits the belly to belly suplex for the win.
Winners - Magnum TA & Hacksaw JIm Duggan by pinfall
Ventura says Magnum TA & Hacksaw are on the fast track to the top. Sole introduces the next match.

Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Lou Thesz, who hasn’t been seen in an LWF ring in quite some time. Thesz says he elevated the LWF title from being a regional title to being a world title and he’s looking forward to having it around his waist again. Tully Blanchard interupts the interview and says Thesz is a joke and a hasbeen. Thesz says Blanchard can take the easy way or the hard way. Blanchard opens his mouth and Thesz has him on the floor, stretching him. Thesz says “Hard way it is.” The show goes to commercial break. When it returns, Hugh Morris and Al Snow are in the ring.
3. Hugh Morris vs. Al Snow Morris and Snow battle back and forth. Snow scoops up Morris and hits the Snow Plow for the win.

Ventura says the Snow Plow can put anyone down. Solie introduces the next match.
4. Tully Blanchard vs. Dan Spivey Tully has a rough start, still distracted by Lou Thesz. Spivey gets in some offense but Tully turns it around and hits the slingshot suplex for the win.

Condrey whips Brunzell to the ropes and Brunzell rolls him up in a small package! Eaton barely gets past Blackjack Mulligan to make the save. Brunzell tags in Mulligan. Condrey makes a comeback and hits the face first leg sweep for a two count. Mulligan hits a big boot to the face for a two count and signals for the claw but Condrey manages to avoid the hold. Condrey makes a comeback and tags in Eaton. Eaton hits the Divorce Court and covers Mulligan for a two count. Mulligan makes a comeback and tags in Brunzell. Eaton turns things around and gets a two count on Brunzell with the Divorce Court. The Midnight hit the Vegomatic but Mulligan makes the save. Condrey hits the face first leg sweep for a two count. The Midnight nail Brunzell with a slingshot elbow. The Midnight hit the Vegomatic for the win.
Winners - The Midnight Express by pinfall, their third title defense
“Reach for the Sky, Boy!” plays over the PA. Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express look around but don’t see anyone until the Fabulous Kangaroos make their way down through the crowd. Red Berry gets on the mic and says the Fabulous Kangaroos never ducked anyone while they were champions and the Midnight Express are ducking the Briscoes AND the Fabulous Kangaroos. Cornette tries getting in Red Berry’s face and finds himself trapped in the Gilligan Stretch! The Kangaroos beat up the Midnight while Berry stretches Cornette!
As security head down to ringside, Solie and Ventura sign off, telling the fans to tune in next time for Lou Thesz vs. Tully Blanchard and in one week for Nick Bockwinkel vs. Barry Windham for the LWF World Heavyweight title.

The titles are quiet at the moment so that should likely mean that they'll hot potato soon. Blanchard pulls up a couple nice wins but Thesz will be a whole different ball of wax.

Is Cornette helping the champs avoid the real threats to their title reign? It's definitely more than likely... But, it looks like Berry and the 'Roos are catching on... Could be rough sailing for the MX on the horizon. Oh, snap!
