LWF Legacy of Gold 5.4 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event of Lou Thesz vs. The Destroyer. Ventura introduces the first match.
1. Missing Link vs. Pampero Firpo Link takes control early drills Firpo with a chair shot. Link hits the back flying head butt for the win.
Winner - Missing Link by pinfall
2. The Flying Redheads vs. The Love Brothers Billy Red Lyons and Reginald Love start the match. Lyons takes the fight to Reginald and hits an atomic drop for a two count. Lyons wears Reginald down with the figure four and tags in Bastien. Reginald makes a comeback but Bastien rolls him up in a small package for a two count. Reginald makes a comeback and tags in Hartford. Bastien is soon back in control. Hartford battles back and the Love Brothers hit a double backbreaker for a two count. The Love Brothers hit the double hotshot but Bastien kicks out. Hartford hits a crossbody from the top for a two count. Hartford hits a neckbreaker but Bastien gets his foot on the ropes before the three count. Bastien makes a desperation tag to Lyons. The Love Brothers wear Lyons down and hit the Body slam/knee drop for a two count. The Love Brothers hit the double hotshot for the win.

Ventura puts over the Love Brothers. Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Tully Blanchard. Blanchard runs down Antonino Rocca and says one day, he’ll learn how to put on his own shoes. Rocca attacks Blanchard and hits some kicks to the face. Solie scrambles back to the booth.
3. Antonino Rocca vs. Tully Blanchard Rocca hoists Blanchard up in the Argentine Backbreaker but Blanchard escapes. Rocca unloads on Blanchard and whips him to the ropes. Blanchard rolls up Rocca with a handful of tights for a two count. Blanchard hits a slingshot suplex for a two count. Rocca makes a comeback and nails Blanchard with a series of dropkicks. Rocca hits the handstand head scissor throw for the win.

Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Rocca after the match. Rocca says one of the reasons he’s come to the LWF is to test himself against Lou Thesz so he challenges Lou to a match. The show goes to commercial break and returns with Mascaras and Orton in progress.
4. Mil Mascaras vs. Cowboy Bob Orton Mascaras tortures Orton with an Indian Deathlock and hits a crossbody block for a two count. Mascaras hits a flying body press for the win.

Solie puts over Mascaras but Ventura isn’t impressed. Solie introduces the next match.
5. Stars & Stripes vs. The Moondogs - No DQ Bagwell and Rex start the match. The Moondogs wear Bagwell down and hit the Moondog Drop. The Patriot breaks the pin and the Moondogs take him out. Moondog Rex hits the shoulder breaker on Bagwell for the three count.

Ventura says The Moondogs should be in the title picture soon. Solie introduces the main event.
6. Lou Thesz vs. The Destroyer Thesz and The Destroyer come out swinging. The Destroyer gets some momentum going and wears Thesz down with an airplane spin. Thesz leaves the ring to regroup and the Destroyer goes out after him. Thesz and Destroyer duke it out on the outside and Thesz comes out on top. Thesz hits the Greco Roman Backdrop for a two count. Thesz hits a Thesz Press but The Destroyer kicks out. Thesz hits another Thesz Press but still can’t put the Destroyer away. Thesz and the Destroyer battle back and forth. Thesz hits a released power bomb for the win.

1. Eric the Red vs. George South Eric takes South to the mat and nails him with the bone. The referee admonishes him but Eric pays him no heed. Eric flattens South with a double ax-handle to the back and hits the running big splash for the win.

Gorilla says Eric the Red is a force to be reckoned with. The Brain introduces the next match.
2. Dynamite Kid vs. Disco Inferno Dynamite mows down Disico Inferno at the bell and hits the diving head butt but DIsco gets his foot on the ropes. Disco gets in some offense and hits a diving forearm for a two count. Dynamite turns things back around and hits a top rope dropkick for the win.

3. McCord & Kernodle vs. Powers of Pain Ric McCord and the Barbarian start the match. McCord and the Barbarian battle back and forth. Barbarian squashes McCord with a power slam and tags in Warlord. The Powers of Pain hit the Power Plex. Barbarian drills McCord with a shoulder breaker for the win.

4. Greg Valentine vs. Brian Blair Blair and Valentine grapple back and forth. Blair hits three flying forearm smashes and covers Valentine for a two count. Blair goes to the top and Valentine throws him to the mat. Valentine locks on the figure four but Blair is able to reach the ropes. Blair makes a comeback but Valentine shuts him down and hits a shoulder breaker for a two count. Valentine hits the falling elbow hammer and covers Blair for a two count. Valentine locks on the figure four and Blair taps out.

1. Fritz Von Goering vs. Mike Jackson Von Goering and Jackson battle back and forth. Von Goering hits a backbreaker but can’t put Jackson away. Von Goering beats Jackson up on the outside and hits another backbreaker for the win.

Gorilla says Von Goering badly needed that win. The Brain introduces the next match.
2. Frank Gotch vs. Steve Regal Gotch wears Regal down with a crossface and bar arm. Gotch locks on the guillotine choke but Regal worms his way to the ropes. Gotch punishes Regal with the reverse nelson and locks on the Gotch Toehold. Regal taps out.

Gorilla puts over Gotch and says he could easily be the next LWF World Heavyweight champion. The Brain says Gotch would do even better with a good manager. Gorilla introduces the next match.
3. Thatcher & Dillon vs. Flying Redheads Thatcher and Bastien start the match. Bastien takes control and hits an Atomic Drop for a two count. Bastien tags in Lyons. Lyons wears Thatcher down with a Sleeperhold. Thatcher battles back and makes the tag to JJ Dillon. Lyons turns things around and locks Dillon in the Sleeperhold. Thatcher makes the save. Bastien takes out Thatcher and Lyons locks on the sleeperhold a second time. Dillon taps out.

The Brain says The Redheads couldn’t win the tag belts even with him as their manager. Gorilla throws it to Gordon Solie standing by with Ilio DiPaolo. DiPaolo promises the fans he’ll beat the Spoiler and keep climbing the card.
4. Ilio DiPaolo vs. The Spoiler The Spoiler gets the early advantage but DiPaolo overpowers him and nails him with big right hands for a two count. The Spoiler makes a comeback but DiPaolo shuts him down and locks on the leg nelson, wearing the Spoiler down. The Spoiler and DiPaolo battle back and forth. DiPaolo hoists The Spoiler up in the airplane spin and Spoiler taps out.

1. Stars & Stripes vs. The Love Brothers Bagwell and Hartford battle back and forth. Stars and Stripes hit a back elbow ram for a two count. The Patriot hits the Uncle Slam and Stars and Stripes hit the Star Spangled Suplex for a two count. Hartford makes a comeback and tags in Reginald. Reginald hits an atomic drop for a two count and throws Bagwell out of the ring. Reginald body slams Bagwell on the concrete. Bagwell is nearly counted out. Reginald hits a fist drop for a two count. The Love Brothers hit the Double Hotshot for the win.

Wicks locks on the double wristlock but Race makes it to the ropes. Wicks locks on the double wristlock a fourth time and Race taps out.

Koloff beats up Windham on the outside. Windham mounts a comeback and nails Koloff with the Lariat for a two count. Windham locks on the Blackjack Claw but Koloff fights his way to the ropes. Windham hits a suplex and covers Koloff but the Iron Sheik distracts the referee! Blackjack Mulligan runs down to ringside and brawls with the Iron Sheik outside the ring. Link beats up Gilbert out of the ring but wastes time chasing fans. Gilbert recovers and nails Link with brawling punches for a two count. Gorilla says LWF officials are scrambling to sign a rematch. The Brain introduces the main event.
4. Rick Rude with Curt Hennig vs. The Destroyer The Destroyer wastes time jawing with Hennig and Rude attacks him from behind. Rude throws Destroyer out of the ring and distracts the referee while Hennig puts the boots to him. Hennig rolls the Destroyer back into the ring. Rude hits a piledriver for a two count. Rude hits a top rope knee drop but the Destroyer gets his foot on the ropes before the three count. Rude hits the Rude Awakening for the win.

Rocca is looking sharp indeed... Also happy that the Love Bro's are picking up a few wins... Would LOVE to see them enter the title picture.
The Windham/Mulligan vs. Koloff/Iron Sheik program is getting pretty hot... I look forward to a potential tag team encounter to blow off this feud... Awesome stuff!
