That technical decision might have been a lucky break for Windham... I've always enjoying using Gotch as the "I'm better than you and you know it" kinda heel... He showed some nice restraint there during the post-match beatdown to avoid getting his own hands dirty too.
Pleased the Love Bro's are still winning... One of my favorite tag teams in the game... Lots of fun, as always!

Lots of fun, as always! I stuck Blackjack with Windham to hopefully avoid the belt becoming a hot potato. So far, it's working. I'm not completely sold on the Love Bros but I'm going to keep featuring them.

LWF Legacy of Gold 5.8 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event of Blackjack Mulligan and Barry Windham vs. Ivan Koloff and the Iron Sheik. Solie introduces the first match.
1. Vachons vs. Rock and Roll Express - double dog collar match Before the match, Mad Dog is chained to Robert and Butcher is chained to Ricky. Robert takes the fight to Mad Dog and hits an Enzuigiri for a two count. Mad Dog battles back and hits a piledriver but Morton breaks the pin and rolls Robert on top for a two count. Robert tags in Ricky and the referee forces Mad Dog out of the ring. Butcher chops Ricky in the throat and locks on the Hangman but Robert fights his way out of the hold. Butcher wears Robert down with the Hangman and goes to the top rope but Ricky yanks him back in the ring and hits a dropkick and covers him, bringing in Mad Dog and Robert. The Rock and Roll bloody the Vachons and Ricky hits a cross body block for the three count.

Ventura says Rude doesn’t look like a winner but looks don’t count. Solie introduces the next match.
6. Mulligan & Windham vs. Koloff and Sheik Windham and the Iron Sheik start the match. Windham quickly has the Shiek in trouble and hits the Sweetwater Superplex for a two count. Windham goes to the top and Koloff shoves the referee in the way. The referee is down! Windham and Mulligan throw Koloff out of the ring. The Iron Sheik makes a comeback and wears Windham down with the Camel Rider. Sheik tags in Koloff. Koloff nails Windham with the Russian Sickle but the referee is still down! Koloff busts Windham open with the Russian Chain. The referee recovers just in time to see Koloff nail Windham with the Russian Hammer for a two count. Koloff nails Windham with the chain again and the referee calls for the bell.

1. Brian Blair Vs. Kenny Jay Jay gets the drop on Blair early on but Blair nails the Sodbuster with a running clothesline for the win.

The Brain says Blair could use a manager to count his money. Gorilla throws it to Gordon Solie standing by with Lanny Poffo. Poffo recites a poem demonstrating how hard it is to rhyme things with Riddle and takes his corner.
2. Rock RIddle Vs. Lanny Poffo Riddle takes Poffo down with a short arm scissors. Poffo gets up but Riddle hits him with a low blow for a two count. Riddle locks on the Boston Crab but Poffo gets to the ropes. Riddle locks on the figure four cobra sleeper for the win.

The Brain says Poffo should have spent his free time practicing rather than writing poetry. Gorilla introduces the next match.
3. Blue World Order vs. Brody & Mosca Blue Meanie and Bruiser Brody start the match. Meanie gets in some offense but Brody plants him and hits the Jumping Knee Drop. Nova makes the save. Brody hits a second jumping knee drop and tags in Mosca. Mosca locks on the Sleeper but Nova makes the save. Mosca nails Meanie with an elbow smash to the face. Mosca locks on the sleeper and Meanie taps out.

The Brain says Nova should have let Meanie get pinned after the first Jumping Knee Drop. Gorilla introduces the main event.
4. Rick Rude with Curt Hennig vs. George Tragos Tragos gives Rude some nervous moments in the early minutes of the match. Rude turns things around and wears Tragos down with a sleeper. Rude hits the Rude Awakening but Tragos gets his foot on the ropes before the three count. Rude hits the top rope sledgehammer for the win.

2. Antonino Rocca Vs. David Taylor Taylor gets the early advantage but Rocca turns things around. Rocca hoists Taylor up in the Argentine Backbreaker but Taylor is able to escape the hold. Taylor tries mounting a comeback but Rocca hits a flying head scissors and covers him for a two count. Taylor turns things around and hits the bear hug to atomic drop for a two count. Taylor hits the British Suplex for a two count. Taylor hits a gorilla press gutbuster for a two count. Rocca turns things back around and locks on the crushing body scissors. Taylor taps out.

Some great talent making big moves on the latest series of shows -- Rude, Rocca, Dynamite Kid... All potential contenders for the top prize. Also really like the pairing of Dutch & Koko... Should be fun to watch their progress... Good times! Windham has a lot of people breathing down his neck at the moment. We'll see who steps up once things get finished with DDP, Gotch, and Koloff.

Gordon Solie catches up with Angle after the match. Angle says he’s glad to be back and officially throwing his hat in the ring for the Tokyo Cup tournament in three weeks.
