After beating Mascaras in the opening round, I started to wonder if lightning could strike twice for J-Lynn... Unfortunately, not... But, we've got three talented competitors advancing to the round robin finals... Stoked!

You just gotta love Lou Thesz... A man that just quietly goes about his business... And his business is being the best... Period.
DDP gets some payback against Blackjack for costing him the title not so long ago... What's wrong with this crowd? Do they already forget how that went down? UGH! I'm hoping that DDP has provoked Windham into granting him a rematch... Without Papa Bear running interference, the champ will feel the BANG!

End of the first quarter notes: I’m pretty pleased with the way the new setup is working. Barry Windham is having a decent run as champion but I don’t like his chances against Lou Thesz now that Mulligan is out of the picture. Page and Windham both turning at the Tokyo Cup was spur of the moment, as was Billy Wicks breaking Orton’s arm. Expect some arrivals and departures soon and some new tag teams. The Patriot makes too good of a midcard face to stay in a tag team with Bagwell!

I definitely prefer Patriot in singles. I team Bagwell with Riggs mostly.

I always liked The Patriot. It's a shame that WWE didn't do more with him. Can you imagine the heat if he beat Bret Hart for the title in Canada?
