Well, there's no doubting that I'd love to see Mil go one-on-one with the Great One in the tournament final... But, based on that enigmatic remark by Gunslinger and the way things are looking now, I've gotta wonder if Jerry Lynn is positioned to win the Tokyo Cup... That would be something else indeed!

Two Nights in Tokyo Night 2 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans and show the list of second round matches. Angle Mosca vs. Rikidozan Rick Rude vs. Great Gama Jerry Lynn vs. Mil Mascaras Giant Baba vs. Jim Londos.
Ventura and Solie also plug the two title matches - The Miracle Violence Connection vs. the Fabulous Ones for the LWF World Tag Team titles and Bob Backlund vs. Antonio Inoki for the LWF World Heavyweight title. This is the last time these two men will meet this year. Solie and Ventura introduce the opening round matches.
Angelo Mosca Vs. Rikidozan Mosca dominates Rikidozan early on. Rikidozan takes a beating but rolls Mosca up after a missed turnbuckle charge for a two count. Rikidozan knocks Mosca senseless with thunderous chops and covers him for a two count. Rikidozan hits a hiplock for a two count. Mosca makes a comeback and whips Rikidozan to the buckles. Rikidozan moves out of the way and Mosca falls to the outside. Rikidozan nails Mosca with chops and rolls him back in. Rikidozan nails Mosca with thunderous chops and covers him for the three count.

Great Gama Vs. Rick Rude Gama takes control at the opening bell and soon has Rude in trouble. Gama hits a Gama Throw for a two count. Gama hits three more consecutive Gama Throws and covers Rude for the three count.

Gama crashes the broadcast booth after the match and vows to beat the Japanese Legend Rikidozan in the third round. Security escorts him back to the locker room but Gama is fired up!
Jerry Lynn Vs. Mil Mascaras Mil goes to work on Lynn and hits two crossbody attacks. Jerry makes a comeback and hits the sunset flip power bomb for a two count. Lynn hits a springboard dropkick and a DDT for near falls. Mil and Jerry battle back and forth. Mil hits a slingshot plancha for a near fall and nails Jerry with a crossbody attack for a two count. Mil goes to the top and Jerry throws him to the mat. Jerry hits a DDT for a two count. Jerry hits a guillotine leg drop for a two count. Lynn hoists Mil up and hits the cradle piledriver for the win!

Giant Baba Vs. Jim Londos Baba mauls Londos at the opening bell and hits the Neckbreaker Drop for the win.

Miracle Violence Connection Vs. The Fabulous Ones - LWF World Tag Team title match Williams and Keirn start the match. Doc takes a beating and tags in Gordy. Keirn hits a shoulder breaker on Gordy for a two count. Keirn tags in Lane and the referee nearly loses control of the match. Gordy hits the Bamm Bamm Slam for a two count. Gordy nails Lane with a power bomb and Keirn makes the save. Gordy hits the Bamm Bamm Slam and tags in Williams. Williams hits the Oklahoma Stampede. Keirn tries to make the save but Williams gorilla press slams him over the top rope to the floor. Williams covers Lane for the three count.
Winners - Miracle Violence Connection by pinfall, their first title defense
Jerry Lynn Vs. Giant Baba Baba crushes Lynn at the opening bell and hits the neckbreaker drop but Lynn kicks out! Lynn makes a comeback and nails Baba with a DDT for a two count. Lynn hits a guillotine leg drop and covers Baba for a two count. Baba and Lynn battle back and forth. Lynn muscles Baba up and hits the Cradle piledriver but Baba kicks out! Lynn hits the cradle piledriver again and again Baba kicks out! Lynn hits the slingshot dive and Baba can’t beat the count back into the ring.
Winner - Jerry Lynn by count out! Jerry Lynn advances to the finals
Ventura and Solie put over Jerry Lynn and remind the audience at home of the historical significance of Rikidozan vs. Great Gama. The crowd is dead silent as the two legends are introduced.
Rikidozan Vs. Great Gama Rikidozan and Gama grapple back and forth. Rikidozan catches Gama with a small package for a two count. Gama rolls up Rikidozan after a missed turnbuckle charge for a two count. Rikidozan lights up Gama with chops. Gama puts Rikidozan on the mat with a rolling front chancery but can’t follow up on it. Gama hits a gut wrench throw for a two count. Rikidozan makes a comeback and hits a hiplock for a two count. Rikidozan nails Gama with thunderous chops and covers him for the three count.

Bob Backlund Vs. Antonio Inoki - LWF World Heavyweight title match - If Inoki loses, he will not get another title shot at Bob Backlund this year. Backlund and Inoki battle back and forth. The two men collide in the middle of the ring after a turnbuckle botch. Backlund gets to his feet first and pounces as Inoki stands up. Backlund clamps on the crossface chickenwing in the middle of the ring. Inoki taps out.
Winner - Bob Backlund by submission, his twenty-third title defense
Backlund and Inoki shake hands after the match and take seats in the front row for the finals of the tournament.
Jerry Lynn Vs. Rikidozan - finals Rikidozan takes Lynn down and nails him with Thunderous Chops but Lynn kicks out. Rikidozan hits Thunderous Chops a second time and looks to be setting up for a third when Lynn rolls out of the ring. Rikidozan and Jerry Lynn battle on the outside. Lynn gets the upper hand but can’t follow up on it. Rikidozan lights up Lynn with chops and throws him to the ropes. Lynn hits a small package for a two count to turn things around. Lynn hits a cradle piledriver but Rikidozan kicks out at one. Lynn spikes Rikidozan with a DDT but Rikidozan easily kicks out. Rikidozan and Lynn battle back and forth. Lynn hits the cradle piledriver again but Rikidozan gets his foot on the ropes. Rikidozan makes a comeback and hits a piledriver for a two count. Rikidozan goes for another piledriver but Lynn blocks it and hits the cradle piledriver for the win!
Winner - Jerry Lynn by pinfall! Jerry Lynn has won the Tokyo Cup!

Like a human highlight reel, J-Lynn knocks off three of the biggest names ever to step inside the squared circle to EARN the Tokyo Cup... You did an excellent job of taking those results (which would have made a lot of promoters pull out their hair, I'm sure) and making me care about how this story was being told, my friend... Absolute brilliance!

You did an excellent job of taking those results (which would have made a lot of promoters pull out their hair, I'm sure) and making me care about how this story was being told, my friend... Absolute brilliance! It's been a long time since I was as excited rolling dice as I was when Jerry Lynn was putting away three Legends in one night. He's a made guy now as far as I'm concerned.

LWF Legacy of Gold 4.27 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and plug the main event, Great Gama vs. Angelo Mosca. Solie announces that Bob Backlund will defend the LWF World Heavyweight title against Jerry Lynn on Legacy of Gold 4.30. He also announces that Sgt Slaughter and Don Kernodle have been named #1 contenders to the LWF World Tag Team titles by the LWF Executive Committee. Ventura introduces the first match.
1. Kurt Angle vs. George South As Kurt Angle circles George South, Ventura reminds the viewers that Angle is the man that ended Vader’s 11 defense World Title reign several years ago. Angle dumps South on his head with two German Suplexes. Angle locks on the Ankle Lock and South quickly taps out.
Winner - Kurt Angle by submission
Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Kurt Angle. Angle says it’s great to be back and can’t wait to wrestle some of the new faces in the LWF. Solie heads back to the booth and Ventura introduces the next match.
2. The Blond Bombers vs. The Killer Bees Ventura says he’s glad to see the Blond Bombers back together. Stevens and Blair start the match. Stevens brings Blair down with the jumping knee smash and hits a crippling piledriver for a two count. Stevens tags in Patterson. Patterson nails Blair with a foreign object while the referee’s back is turned for a two count. Patterson wears Blair down with a figure four and htis a throat drop on the top rope. Patterson covers Blair and Stevens holds off Brunzell while the referee makes the three count.
Winners - The Blond Bombers by pinfall
Ventura puts over the Blond Bombers and Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Rick Rude. Rude says Jerry Lynn only won the Tokyo Cup because he didn’t have to face Rude. Rude craps on having to wrestle George the Animal Steele. Steele attacks Rude and throws him into the ring.
3. Rick Rude vs. George Steele Steele throws turnbuckle stuffing in Rude’s face. Steele locks on the Flying Hammerlock but Rude fights his way out of the hold. Steele rams Rude’s head into the exposed turnbuckle and covers him for the three count.
Winner - George Steele by pinfall
Ventura is speechless after Steele’s win. Solie introduces the main event.
4. Great Gama vs. Angelo Mosca Mosca takes control at the opening bell. Gama takes a beating and hits Mosca with a Gama throw for a two count. Gama hits a gut wrench throw for a two count. Mosca tries making a comeback but Gama shuts him down and hits another Gama throw. Gama hits a third Gama Throw for the win.
Winner - Great Gama by pinfall
After the match, Gama gets on the mic and says he’s heading to Japan for a while but he’ll back back for the next big tournament, the Golden Gate Cup. Gama leaves through the crowd and is mobbed by fans.
Ventura and Solie tell the fans to tune in next time for Steve Williams vs. Sgt Slaughter in the main event.

LWF Legacy of Gold 4.28 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event of Steve Williams vs. Sgt Slaughter. Solie introduces the first match.
1. Nick Bockwinkel vs. Tommy Gilbert Bockwinkel and Gilbert battle back and forth. Bockwinkel takes Gilbert down and locks on the Bockwinkel Sleeper for the win.
Winner - Nick Bockwinkel by submission
Ventura puts over Bockwinkel, saying he’s a born champion. Solie introduces the next match.
2. The Vachons vs. The Hillbillies Butcher Vachon and Cousin Luke start the match. Butcher puts Luke on the mat and tags in Mad Dog. Mad Dog hits the piledriver but Hillbilly Jim makes the save. Luke makes a comeback and hits a head butt for a two count. Luke tags in Hillbilly Jim. Jim locks on the bear hug but Mad Dog won’t tap and fights his way out of the hold. Jim locks on the bear hug a second time and Vachon escapes the hold again. Vachon is on rubber legs and tags in Butcher. Butcher turns things around and hits a big splash for a two count. Butcher locks on the Hangman and Jim submits.

Ventura puts over the Vachons. Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Curt Hennig. Hennig says he doesn’t like Kurt Angle and Nick Bockwinkel coming to town and getting all the attention. He takes his corner and waits for his opponent.
3. Curt Hennig vs. Pepper Gomez Hennig tries slapping Gomez at the opening bell but Gomez traps him in a sleeper hold! Hennig escapes the hold. Gomez hits the Mexican Leap for a two count and hits the Mexican cradle for another near fall. Gomez takes Hennig down with the flying head scissors for a two count. Gomez hits another flying head scissors for a two count. Gomez locks on the stomach claw and Hennig submits.
Winner - Pepper Gomez by pinfall
Solie puts over Pepper Gomez. Ventura, as usual, isn’t impressed and introduces the main event.
4. Steve Williams vs. Sgt Slaughter Williams and Slaughter come out throwing bombs and the referee stays out of the way and lets them go at it. Williams gets the upper hand and hits the Oklahoma Stampede but Slaughter kicks out. Williams hits a second Oklahoma Stampede but Slaughter kicks out. Williams hits a lariat for the win.

Ventura and Solie sign off, telling the fans to tune in next time for Davey Boy Smith and Blackjack Mulligan in the main event.

1. Henry Irslinger vs. Dan Severn Irslinger and Severn battle back and forth. Severn hits a fireman’s carry slam for a two count. Severn locks on the choke sleeper and Irslinger taps out.

Ventura puts over Severn. Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Bobby Shane. Shane says he and Bockwinkel still have each others’ backs but it was time to go solo. Shane says he’s gunning for the big gold belt and Billy Wicks is just the first stop on the way. Wicks attacks Shane and Solie scrambles back to the booth.
2. Billy Wicks vs. Bobby Shane Shane locks on the Japanese Sleeper but Wicks escapes the hold. Shane throws Wicks out of the ring and hits a bulldog on the concrete. Wicks is counted out.

Ventura says he likes Shane’s attitude. Solie introduces the next match.
3. PG-13 vs. American Males Ice and Riggs start the match. Riggs manhandles Ice. Ice and Wolife D wear him down with quick tags and hit the leg sweep and clothesline for a two count. PG-13 hit the tilt a whirl for the win.

Ventura says he likes those skinny kids. Solie introduces the main event.
4. Davey Boy Smith vs. Blackjack Mulligan Davey starts strong but Blackjack nearly takes his head off with a big boot to the face. Blackjack gets a two count with a lariat. Blackjack clamps on the Blackjack Claw but Davey pries Blackjack’s fingers off his forehead. Blackjack hits a knee to the gut and clamps on the Blackjack Claw a second time. Davey taps out.

Ventura puts over Mulligan’s win and says he’d like to see Mulligan take a crack at Backlund. Solie signs off, telling the fans to tune in Thursday for Bob Backlund vs. Tokyo Cup winner Jerry Lynn for the LWF World Heavyweight title.

LWF Legacy of Gold 4.30 Ventura and Solie welcome the fans to the show and hype the main event, Bob Backlund vs. Tokyo Cup winner Jerry Lynn for the LWF World Heavyweight title. Solie introduces the first match.
1. Jim Londos vs. Tommy Gilbert Gilbert gets the early advantage and whips Londos to the buckles. Londos bounces back and takes Gilbert to the mat. Londos locks on the Boston Crab but Gilbert escapes the hold. Londos hits a big fireman’s carry slam. Gilbert turns things around with a small package for a two count but Londos is soon back in control. Londos hits two crotch lift and slams. Gilbert makes a comeback and hits a standing dropkick for a two count. Londos turns things around and hits a fireman’s carry slam. Londos hits a crotch lift and slam and a fireman’s carry slam. Londos hoists Gilbert up in the airplane spin and Gilbert taps out.

Solie leaves the booth to get a word with Londos. Londos says he came up short against Giant Baba in the Tokyo Cup tournament but his goal hasn’t changed. He wants a shot at the big gold belt. Solie heads back to the booth and the next match gets underway.
2. One Man Gang vs. Tiger Conway Jr Tiger attempts a monkey flip at the opening bell but Gang squashes him. Gang hits a scoop body slam for a two count. Gang hits the 747 for the win.

Solie says One Man Gang is climbing the rankings.Ventura says they’ll need a bigger belt and introduces the next match.
3. The Blond Bombers vs. US Express Patterson and Rotundo start the match. Rotundo is fired up and unloads on Patterson. Patterson rolls out of the ring to escape the onslaught and Rotundo cracks him with a chair. The referee calls for the bell.

Rotundo and Windham exchange some heated words after the match. Ventura says if the US Express can keep it together, they might be able to win the tag belts. Solie introduces the main event.
4. Bob Backlund vs. Jerry Lynn - LWF World Heavyweight title match Lynn and Backlund battle back and forth. Lynn gets some momentum going but has a hard time putting the champion down. Lynn hits a guillotine leg drop for a two count. Backlund makes a comeback but Lynn shuts him down and hits a springboard dropkick for a two count. Backlund makes a comeback and hits the rolling backbridge for a two count. Backlund clamps on the crossface chickenwing and Lynn taps out.
