I am back from going to this show tonight.
I sat front row center tonight. Apparently my front row ticket was at the end of a row, but my friend who works for GCW on their West Coast shows just switched my fornt row seat name tag with somebody else's to give me a better set. My seat tonight was both great and dangerous.
Before the show started, Sabu was in attendance signing autographs and taking pictures. I have met him previously though as Sabu lives here in Las Vegas.
In the opening match, the East-West Express defeated Strange By Komand (Arez and Komander.)
Before this match started, Jordan Oliver challenge Komander to see which of them was better at using the ropes. No offense to Jordan Oliver, and I did give the Ropes rating for Oliver's card an A for the way he uses the ropes for things such as his CLOUT CUTTER, but Komander uses the ropes the best between those two.
Cole Radrick defeated Dante Leon in the first-ever match between them.
Rob Sh*t defeated Kit Osborne in an Intoxication match.
The rules of this match was that if you kicked out of a pinfall at 2 then you had to either chug a beer or take a shot.
Ciclope defeated Matthew Justice in a coffin match.
They set up the coffin right in front of my front-row seat so I was obviously standing for most of this match as it would not have been safe for me to remain seated as the top of the coffin once opened leaned up against my chair.
Jai Vidal defeated Daron Corbin
Darin Corbin made fun of Jia Vidal's photo on FSW's Wall of Fame (other names there include Killer Kross, Chris Bey, Eli Drake, Reno Scum, Sefa Fatu, and Lacey Ryan.) Jai Vidal (who is now signed with Impact) then made a surprise appearance and challenged Corbin to a match.
Mike Bailey defeated Miedo Extremo.
This was the best match of the night.
Dark Sheik defeated Santana Jackson
This was a good comedy match before the main event.
After the Dark Sheik victory, Jimmy Lloyd appeared in the ring and said the deathmatch he wanted to choose for his 25th birthday tonight- in honor of Sabu being in the building- was a no-ropes barbed wire match.
GCW then went on Intermission while they took down the ropes and replaced them with barbed wire, it took a long time (I think about an hour?)
Jimmy Lloyd defeated Effy in a no-ropes barbed wire deathmatch.
After the show, I talked to a wrestler about some of his moves as it is somebody I have signed at a previous show.
I am going to get some sleep and then get up and go to GCW in Los Angeles tomorrow.
