John Nord was the 1985 Rookie of the Year. He beat out Kendall Windham, Danny Spivey, and Sam Houston for the award that year.

Interesting foursome there. All were decent but IMO never really wowed. At least from a booking stand point and some what a personality/character stand point.

Spivey also fell apart fast. Actually other than Windham, they were all basically done by 95.

Spivey also fell apart fast. Actually other than Windham, they were all basically done by 95. And arguably, Windham should have been done by '95 if not before. Gosh those WWF years as the New Blackjacks and the WCW years late in his career as the West Texas Rednecks were ... rough.

Good god, I just checked and according to Wiki Sam Houston is still wrestling and in fact won a title just last year.

Well, the thing with Indys now is that anyone with a smidge of name value can live off that for years. Still it says something that Mike Jackson could turn it into something and Sam has not.

John Nord, yeah I remember him in WWF (The Berzerker). His been in some tag teams (on wiki) with some already signed wrestlers. Got an big interesting idea for him. On wiki he was also managed by some unsigned managers (hoping we might see 1 manager in this set)

John's gimmick in WWF was originally The Viking. Then Tony Halme sued for, I think, trademark infringement and Viking became Berzerker.
