Unless all current ROH guys are excluded, I have to think the Briscoes are included. I wonder, only because Mania Weekend is in Philadelphia next year, if they might wait a year to induct the Briscoes? That is a good call. Next year should be a loaded week of indie shows and such.

It should be like the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame. You cannot be inducted till a certain number of years after your debut. Especially with wrestlers going longer then in the past including some still wrestling into their 70's now and then. Nice to induct them before they pass. I think Rock-n-Roll HOF is 20 years after debut of their first album. Twenty to twenty-five years after a debut seems like a good time to be eligible. I mean, by then you know if they have had the kind of career that is HOF worthy. I like this. Waiting for after a retirement in wrestling is certainly a futile effort.

As Mike Jackson and The Rock and Roll Express have shown us.
Debut date is perfectly good. After 20-25 years, they'll have made their mark or not.

For perspective, The Briscoes (who will probably receive a bid unless whatever deal Mark has blocks it) currently have a 22 year career apiece, easy to forget how young that crop of early 2000s mainstays were.
if we’re working with Jake Roberts or Ric Flair’s definition of retired, Chris Hero seems like a logical choice

Well-deserved IMO. She has had a long and really good career.

Totally agree with OTE there. She's always been one of my favorites.

Last year's class had 6 names. If this year's class has 6 names too then I would of course expect them to get announced soon as Mania Weekend starts next week.
I am going to guess Sabu (he recently did a signing at a GCW show last month and he lives close to Los Angeles here in Las Vegas) for one of the remaining names for this year as I think the Briscoes and Jimmy Rave might be better fitted for next year's class in Philadelphia.
